So, I thought we could all weigh in here as to what we think the A-BOMB is. You only get one guess, so make it a good one and please be as specific as possible! My thought is that it would have to be something that he himself has done or very personally supported that is illegal, overtly anti-American or both rather than about his associations. We recognize that his associations with the likes of Wright, Ayers and cousin Odinga reflect who Obama is and what he really thinks; however, Obama's apologists dismiss his associations as not being about him and apparently many voters who don't take time to listen and check things out (or have just plain drunk the kool-ade) buy into these weak excuses. .... Security clearence is a non issue, because while anyone who needs to have access to top secret information has to gain a security clearence. Once elected President Obama can declare executive privilage and excuse himself from the process. Hence he by his authority as elected president gives himself clearence to view top secret information.

One thing that has never been nailed down was his selective service application. He may have never registered for selective service like everyone born after a certain date have to.

NEW YORK - Big corporations give him money. Presidential candidates seek his endorsement. He has influential friends in Congress and the governor's mansion. The Rev. Al Sharpton has emerged over the past decade as perhaps the nation's most prominent civil rights leader, a status that was demonstrated again this week when he led protests against police brutality that briefly shut down six of Manhattan's major bridges and tunnels.

But he still carries baggage from his early days as a fire-breathing agitator: Government records obtained by The Associated Press indicate that Sharpton and his business entities owe nearly $1.5 million in overdue taxes and associated penalties.

Now the U.S. attorney is investigating his nonprofit group, a probe that an undeterred Sharpton brushes off as the kind of annoyance that civil rights figures have come to expect from the government.

"Whatever retaliation they do on me, we never stop," he told the AP. "I think that that is why they try to intimidate us."

Over the past year, Sharpton's lawyers and the staff of his nonprofit group, the National Action Network, have been negotiating with the federal government over the size of his debt, which they dispute. The group has also been trying to pay off tens of thousands of dollars it owes for failing to properly maintain workers compensation and unemployment insurance.

Charlie King, the organization's interim executive director, said both Sharpton and the group he leads were unprepared for their rise in stature in recent years and had trouble dealing with big jumps in donations and income.

"The infrastructure was trying to keep up with that pace, and it was not a perfect fit," he told the AP on Friday. "The National Action Network may not have been perfect, but nothing was going on that was untoward."

He said the organization has new accountants and a new administrative team, and the group recently finally filed long-overdue tax returns.

Sharpton's own debts include $365,558 owed in New York City income tax and $931,397 in unpaid federal income tax, according to a lien filed by the Internal Revenue Service last spring. There are a number of things that the "A Bomb" could be. There are reports that research cannot find a birth certificate or any record of birth for Barack Hussein Obama JR. anywhere in Hawaii. That could be one. However in order for this to really be a bomb shell, it would have to be proven that he was actually born outside of the states.

The Odinga situation is another....yet ties to Obama have not been proven other than his visit to Kenya. Fact checkers all agree Odinga's claim to being a cousin are untrue.

The Hummas founding trail could be damaging....but the chance it would be taken seriously would require direct knowledge by the candidate, otherwise the money is just sent back as was the case with Rezko.

The Larry Sinclair story is not being trusted by anyone with pull to have it become large enough to make it an impact...but one affair usually means there are more. The National Inquirer has a story about Obama cheating on Michell, but I know absolutely nothing about that.

BO has weathered many controversies. The only thing that would truly remove him from the race would be something that makes him pull out or something that disqualifies him.....AND shuts his supporters up. It would have to be something no one can argue against.

We'll see.

I think if there is one it's going to be something political and a bit complicated. Didn't Hillary say recently that people needed to "listen carefully" in the next few days/weeks? Anything about sex or drugs would be like wildfire everywhere, but some of this Rezcko, Hamas, Odingo, even Reverand Wright stuff involves more research to understand all the details and implications. People just don't do it. I mean, look how many people still think Obama "voted against the war."

He made like a 5 minute speech saying that he didn't agree with it. He was not able to vote on because he was not yet a senator. He said if he would have had to vote that he don't know how he would have voted. He probably would have voted present. This is a classic case that no one really knows Obama!

He wasn't a U.S. Senator at the time to vote for or against it! He's actually said he didn't know how he'd vote if he was. He had the privilege of voting against it from the comfort of his desk, computer in front of him, dictionary in his hand. *sigh* He didn't feel the pressure of other Senators as they decided whether the benefits of putting our soldiers in harm's way outweighed the risks. And remember, Bush had us duped that there were WMDs... a lot of Americans and politicians supported the war based on the evidence Bush provided for it.

I have a few more guesses but I'll play by the rules and stick with one.

Things on the Rezko front have been eerily quite. And today, Harry Ried said to let the contest play out. Rather suprising coming from Ried. No flood of SD's over to Obambi as promised. John Kerry made a strange statement the other day that sounded like he was doing a flip-flop on Barack. And now I'm wondering if the "threatened" SD's have something to hide? Remember, Rezko's buddy and financier is Auchi who is responsible for the biggest political scandal to ever hit France. This Rezko "cesspool of corruption" trial may just bring down many political figures within both the Rep and Dem parties. Stay Tuned..........:eek:
