He sounds like a nut to me. For one thing Oprah has not been a member of that church in a long time and to hear him talk they been in the pew together. I think he is probably a right winger. Can he get sued for making such accusations? I would rather have sound facts being put out there than rhetoric that is unproven.

I have to admit I laughed while watching that. He kept calling Obama "Barack Hussein Oh-bomber" and spoke in such a robotic way.
If you go to his website and watch some of the other videos he talks the same way in all of them. I agree, kind of robotic but that appears to be his "style".
Wright/Obama/Oprah - apparently they are all on my gay "team" according to Pastor Manning! :)

Whether or not it is true, I can tell something is wrong with obama.
Forget what you see in speeches or when he is in the limelight.
Listen to him speak off camera.. He shows very little emotion and has a robotic tone to him. I believe he is carrying something on the inside.
He has a struggle inside himself, a struggle between cultures of black and white and emotional disattachement issues from his mother leaving him with his grandparents while she went to go study, or his father leaving the family as a young kid.
He even mentioned recently that he wanted to create a much better and more stable life with his kids and michelle than his mother ever created for him. Even on mothers-day, he was very cold to the idea of wishing his mother a happy mothersday and intsead said well my mother isn't here now, so I really want to make sure this is a day with michelle and the kids.
He has this built up resentment and anger toward his parents and a feeling of emptyness and confusion. I believe this is some of the reason that he turned to cocaine and other drugs when he was a child and I believe this could be a reason he turned to homosexuality out of pure confusion of who is.
He had no idea who he was, so he sought the black church. He even stated that wright brought him to christ and became a father figure to him. He was lost and confused and he went to wright for guidance. Still confused he sought figures of great power, such as rezko, wright, and frank...
Whether or not he had sex with wright, I don't know, but I wouldn't be suprised if he had a gay experience in his lifetime due to his internal problems.
I don't believe the wright thing, but I do think there is some credence to the larry sinclair/donald young story.. maybe not the murder, but definitely something sexual and drug related.

I've been watching all of Pastor Manning's videos for months now, so I feel like I know what he's all about.
Although he may seem shocking and controversial, he's actually a really good guy. His basic message to his followers is that problems in the black community are not caused by a racist white society, but by a lack of local organization and irresponsible parents who either don't get married or don't support their children financially, causing an ongoing cycle of poverty and crime etc etc. He's kind of the total opposite of Rev Wright. (Wright blames a racist white society for problems in the black community).
Pastor Manning is the one who first raised the issue of Obama's parents' marriage being illegal since his father was already married to a Kenyan woman. This was later corroborated by a Time Magazine article.
He's also been telling Obama to sue him if anything he says is untrue. So, with his latest allegations - that Obama and Wright are in the closet, it would seem that he's trying to get them to sue him for libel/slander.
So hopefully, if you're not familiar with him, that will give you some context to evaluate what he says. :)

He's a real minister, but he doesn't like obama because he feels that obama is a half black man who goes around promising change in the black community but then sells out to the white community for votes.
He called obamas mother a *****/trash, which is not cool, but he also stated that obama uses the "obama-girl" to sexisize his candidacy, which is correct.
He basically called obama a pimp, pimping out white big breasted women to gain votes.
The minister does speak the truth, because even though he doesn't fully endorse or like bill clinton, he feels that blacks should respect the clintons for bringing money into the schools, into the communities, and into the businesses that make life easier for people of color.
Basically that action speaks louder than words and obama is all words.

(Bill Clinton's office is in manning's part of Harlem -the poorest part - and Bill brought much-needed investment to that area. Manning has always said that the Clintons have done a lot for the black community. He supports Hillary, but for IRS reasons, he can't say so explicitly.)
Thanks for enlightening me. Wow. So he's legit. Well amazing to see a black man so profoundly unhappy over Oprah turning her back on white women who helped make her what she is today and then turn her back on Hillary. I really was shocked when Oprah came out for BO, considering her work in empowering women.
What most upset me was that she knows just how powerful she is and to have put all her power behind him sucked. She should have just stayed out of it.

BillDemo I think you have a very reasoned explanation. It's just the way this man chooses to express himself.
here's my take. Barack did not have a father. I think he actually may be bi-sexual. the gay thing has come up several times with different people.
it's just one more way that BO is not honest about who he is, but trades on people's adoration of him. and it is very hypocritical given his rejection of the gay community. it may also explain all the men around him. not a very sex integrated inner circle.

Re: Obama being gay or bi, stick to Larry Sinclair. Of course there is nothing wrong with being gay; the problem would be if you are a public person or office holder lying to your spouse and kids, or lying to everyone because you know your gay background wouldn't be palatable to most voters. In any case the person would come across as untrustworthy. I've seen this; I am from New Jersey, and went through the "outing" of former Gov James McGreevey ('nother story). We all know that if gay allegations toward Obama are true, it would be bad for him. But personally I would like to see some other TRUTH come out about him. I am gay. I think the speculation in this instance is justified. Especially when the openly gay choir director of Trinty Church, Donald Young, was murdered in December 2007 and the case remains unsolved. Why was he murdered? And was it just a bizarre "co-incidence" that he should be murdered just before the commencement of Democratic primaries? I mean, something is up there, Donald Young was a member of that church for DECADES! And suddenly, in Dec 2007 his life is no more. Bizarre.

He's got a very controversial and aggressive style of getting his message out there - (he used to work in marketing) - but if you think about it, he's never said anything before that wasn't true.
He criticized Oprah for choosing "her blackness" over her womanhood. I think he was correct on that point.
He called Obama's mother a "trashy white woman", which may seem racist, but what he meant was that she had children with a lot of men who didn't marry her and didn't support her financially.
He criticized Obama's lack of experience and said he would be unable to negotiate with world leaders and dictators like Ahmadinejihad. I agree.
He criticized pastors (like Wright) who collect money from their poor (and sometimes starving) parishoners and live a really wealthy lifestyle. Remember Wright's million dollar house, far away from his congregation.
He criticized black people for supporting Obama when the Clintons were the ones who had really helped the black community.
I know it's very easy to dismiss him because of the crazy way he presents himself, but I'm pretty sure he's never actually made an accusation that wasn't true.
So with this latest accusation, I think there may be something to it.
Wright has always been praised for the way his church is welcoming to gay people in a community where that is quite unusual. Wright has also always been a bachelor even though I'm almost certain that Pastors can marry. (Pastor Manning is married)...
But still, its all just speculation. :) If it were true tho, Obama's campaign would suffer the same fate as the ex-governor of New Jersey. I have no problem voting a gay guy or girl into office, but a lot of people have a problem with public figures who hide their sexuality with a sham marriage.
And I don't know if Manning is wrong or right, but I don't think anyone should be "dismissed" for speaking with passion & emotion. Utlimately it's the content of what someone says that we must examine. Different people from different cultural backgrounds speak and communicate in different ways.

Pastor Manning belongs to the ATLAH ministries I think it is. He is hypercritical of the black community. The reason is, he is in Harlem and Bill Clinton brought $250 million dollars to Harlem to restore buildings, condos, businesses etc. but Pastor Manning was mad at the black community, Toni Morrison and Maya Angelou because they were saying that Clinton was the first, last and only black President. He was saying that they shouldn't think that way. God did not send Bill Clinton for them. He says that they black community was wrong when they clapped and celebrated O.J's aquital because he was guilty and they shouldn't take past oppression by whites out on Nicole Brown Simpson. He says that the black comm. is fickle, one minute Bill is the second coming then along comes bo and all the support that had been there for Hillary was gone, and for what. Just because the man has the same color skin. But he says they are hypocritical because they forgot that bo has a white mom!! He doesn't offer anything just his skin color. He thinks they have no loyalty after all Bill did. Bill may have done wrong Pastor does not support that but he appreciates their (Bill & Hillary's) commitment to the black comm. Whewww There. I forgot he can't stand Farrakhan either. he says he was one of the only black men left in Harlem during the Mil. Man march. He said those people left for the march empty and came back empty. God didn't send Lois Farrakhan either. What has he done for blacks as well.

I have to think that Pastor Manning is not an idiot and fully realizes he could be sued for slander/liable (I never know which is which) if the statements he is making do not have some basis in fact? And I also agree that it is not about being gay. It is about a man running for President Of The United States who has lied about virtually everything and who has gone to great lengths to obscure his past as well as previous associations.
The title for everything should be:
"The Myth That Is Obama" And no matter what context Bill Clinton used the words "Fairy Tale" in, it is an accurate description of the Obama political machine. I have read a lot about Obama's antipathy towards the Gay community. How do gays feel about that? Does the gay communtiy in general read into homophobia "methinks he doth protest too much?" If it turned out to be true that Obama is gay, I would feel it necessary to send my condolences to the gay community.

I sure hope we don't have to listen to a Jimmy Swagerty moment from Obama.
If this costs the guy a few votes, enough to help Hillary, bring it on. I don't care. If the guy is not clean bring it out in the open. If he's guilty, he will not be President of the United States. There will be a lot of buyers remorse over this on Obamas side with the exception of the many young gang bangers that support him. If this stuff is true and especially if he is even remotely tied with Youngs death that would really be ironic. Bill Clinton lied but nobody died. Obama might have lied and somebody died. This is better than "The young and the reckless":D:D:D

LOL. All his videos are hilarious. The way he shouts and all the phrases he uses. They make me laugh out loud. You should watch some of them.
My personal favorite: He's screaming at people for not supporting Hillary and he says "Y'all ain't got enuff sense to pull pi$$ out of a boot!" :D
My Favorite was when all the pics of the celebrities came up and he said, that Obama was pimping them out. and I was just cracking up. I have to see more hehe.
Heck I might go to church if there was a dude like him here. Too funny.

My first red flag with Obama was McClurkin. No Political Candidate in their right mind would spit on the Gay community in that way with out it being a clear message of their core belief. It made me immediately wonder why he would do such a thing. Then Larry Sinclair surfaced and made claims that could not be ignored.
I do not, nor would I ever consider any "Cure Homosexual" to be a part of the Gay community. They are on the outside as is Obama. I disassociate myself from any and all LBGT organizations that back the man......for good reason.

I grew up with a friend who has known he was gay from very early on. At 16, His parents decided that they would send him to a "camp" where he could be de-programmed and not be gay anymore. The result for my friend was that they left him so mixed up and so guilty, he tried to kill himself. The good news is, he and I went to veterinary schoold together and he is a successful and happy man. My mum, God lover her always said, "If a person could choose to be gay or not, why in the world would they ever choose to be gay? Even Wright made reference to being vp in his speech...makes you wonder.
Wright has also always been a bachelor even though I'm almost certain that Pastors can marry. (Pastor Manning is married)...
Is he? I thought recently I read an article about Wright stealing a member's wife and the man said he would not talk against him as he was his children's stepfather.. Was I dreaming?
There are sure a lot of related videos there such as Obama in gay disguise, Obama is a Mack Daddy...

Yes, it's always a source of irritation for those of us who are gay to respond to the irrational "people" who believe homosexuality can be "cured". I don't bother arguing with such types anymore. Other than to say - did you choose your race? Sexual orientation is unchangeable/fixed in the same way that one's race is unchangeable/fixed. Ask those who know - which is everyone! Just like no-one chooses to have a homosexual orientation, no-one chooses to have a heterosexual orientation either. Nature decides in the genes.

I love Pastor Manning... now I don't agree with him and the name calling and he has appologized but like some others I've watched all his videos that I could find. He's very NE AA imo. I think and this is sad that now since Rev. Wright has gone mainstream that people don't realize that most AA don't act like those from Chicago. It just seems that the racial animosity in Chicago is extreme. I remember how upity people got when Kayne West said "President Bush doesn't like black people." While trying to raise money for Katrina victims, Kayne a Chicago native and I love him got alot of flack for that. It's a structure which compared to those native AA in Harlem is polar opposite IMO.
With that said I love Rev. Manning, he's a smart man got his degrees from Oxford, you should watch his other videos my personal favorites are....
YouTube - Obama's Bra 54 Double "D"
YouTube - Jeremiah Wright God Bless America!
YouTube - Like Caligula, Like Obama
and one of my all time favorites and most shocking IMO
YouTube - Pastor Manning says the Million Man March was a joke!
Let you know after i watch it...I have no idea...I fall into your group.lol

We have seen many of his other videos before.. they are posted on this site.
Also folks, if you finish watching that one.. the very next video has some enlightening material as well. I recall that he brought to light the fact that Pres. Bill Clinton's post Presidency first office was in Harlem with the result that a LOT of money flowed into that neighborhood.. some $200M or such figure. And he said.. yes, this is the person - Bill Clinton- that they were very quick to call racist. This Rev. Manning speaks up for fairness.
In one of the videos, he was near tears. I recall seeing it and being very moved. He says "can you hear my heart" and I could feel it in my heart.. I hope folks can post these videos here. This is a genuine soul. He has taken his time coming out with this video and is speaking very authoritatively... his voice and tone.. very definitive.. which really makes me think he has done his homework.. We have to see the other videos to gauge this.

Ok, I'm laughing my butt off at this in a way but in other ways I'm thinking - HOLY CRAP!!! He's making some serious allegations there and I can't believe no one is taking him to task for it. So, what does that say? The allegations are true? Why would Obama and Wright not respond to this in some fashion? Is it just so far out there they just laugh? Absolutely amazing!

There is NO CURE for being gay.....but there are many so called "Cured Homosexuals" that have made a decision to pretend they are now straight. That is not a real choice of sexuality it is a choice of a way of living ones life, just like a closeted gay man chooses not to tell people and live in hiding. These are both examples of someone on the outside of the community even if they secretly harbor gay thoughts or secretly support the gay community.
It takes a great deal to, not only live your life for who you really are, but to do so proudly and without fear.

Bizarre.
For a straight, button-down collar sort of person from a conservative background, I've spent a lot of time around gay guys. Nevertheless, it didn't occur to me that Wright himself might be gay. However, now that the suggestion has been brought to my attention, I see it as quite possible.
I couldn't care less about someone's sexual orientation. What I do care about is someone's honesty and willingness to be dishonest to get what they want. That's about manipulation, disrespect of others and integrity.
Larry Sinclair ... Donald Young ... Jeremiah Wright. How many alleged gay sexual partners does it take to reach the critical mass for an investigation?

In one of pastor mannings videos, he says "Obama's campaign started on double D's" ( referring to the slutty looking Obama girl video )..What's funny is it's true. I only found out about Obama last year because of that girl.
Amazing video, I had seen this Manning on something else, and was startled by him, but I watched a few other vids on the links to this. The one with John Gibson sets it up for me on what kind of person this Manning is.
I want Hillary to win, but I don't know if this guy is the route to that happening. He seems like a lunatic to me.
I don't want Hillary to get on board with people like this to win.
Well, she is not getting "on board" with any such people. This man is a free agent who can say what he likes. Just because he happens to be anti-obama everyone (the anti-hillary crew) always jumps to the conclusion that Hillary must be behind it or some nonsense like that. The alternative approach is to say the source is a nutcase and therefore not to be listened to. This is also a lame way to discredit a source.
I am open to all opinions, including that shared by Manning. Could his opinion be any more screwed and biased than that which the likes of CNN, MSNBC and others spew forth daily? I think not.
It takes a great deal to, not only live your life for who you really are, but to do so proudly and without fear.
Yes, and many have died doing just that. The pink triangle is just one example.
It takes a great deal to, not only live your life for who you really are, but to do so proudly and without fear.
Yes, and many have died doing just that. Gay/lesbian people remain one of the most victimized and hated groups in society - despite what some people may like to think. Worldwide the situation of gay/lesbian people is abominable. Hence, many remain in the closet for a multitude of reasons. And, not surprisingly, that kind of isolation/silence has very adverse affects on the psychological states of the people concerned.

Found his remarks about Oprah to be spot on. She caters to the white women, even has a dress code enforced on the set to keep up proper appearances. If it ever came out that she was "gay" it would have killed her empire, especially early on, remember the 80's and early 90's not so gay friendly. Anybody see the rode trip with "friend Gayle"? hmmmm...
Loved the "long-legged pimp" remark, and they gave "it away for free".

While this might be an interesting humorous distraction, I believe that if I were to choose between a professional intelligence gathering source, such as the FBI, the CIA or the stuff that comes to light on this forum I would have to go with the Feds.
Excuse me, no offense intended, but I think that Hillary is much much smarter than that, and the friends and contacts that want to help her also are gathering up information to use at the opportune moment. Something that even the most ardent supporter of Obama could not deny once it is brought forth.
As stated by someone on this thread, or one similar. She wouldn't want anything to happen until after the primary's are over, and before the convention. People have a way of turning on the person pointing fingers at their adored candidate. Can anyone say O.J. Simpson???
I believe--it is just my opinion--that there is a underground network in play out there working on behalf of Hillary. If "discovery" has come to light through proper channels and it is handled within the letter of the law, then we will find out what it is.
If President Bill Clinton knows pastor Manning personally, as his neighbor in Harlem, don't you think that he has told the president these things and maybe even given him source information. If the guy has the guts enough to put this stuff on a video and it gets to U-tube, then why would he balk at telling Bill Clinton, who in turn propably had his many many contacts in intelligence taking depositions from Manning. Bill Clinton of all people would surely know what it would take to bring a person's candidacy down. I never hear him say anything other than "when Hillary is your president".
If you find what I am saying is offensive, please, I apologize! I think that these blogs are constantly being monitored by people involved in homeland security. Just to prove a point that people who's job it is to keep this country and potential presidents safe. I think this election will play out for the right person to be the next president of the United States, and that person will be Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Well, I think that's an obvious point that doesn't even need stating. Last time I checked the universe wasn't sitting back watching hillaryclintonforum.net ! This topic, just like any other, is merely discussion of material/opinion which is already "out there" in the public domain. So there is no organized "information gathering" taking place for the purposes of announcing some kind of major discovery that others are not already aware of! It would be very arrogant & naiive of anyone to think that the actions of an internet forum - with 1900 members - are going to change the course of the US election! ;)

I agree with you Murray, that obviously we won't change the course of the election, but it seems to me that we are trying very hard to do just that. I would pray that we could have an effect on the election. Don't you believe that we do make a difference by getting information out to news media etc. I don't believe that this is an exercise in futility. Every person who feels as though they should get this out immediately to the various newspapers etc. has the belief that they are making a difference. Surely you must believe that? Look, I apologize if what I said was offensive, This is a great site, and I have stated that on a couple of occasions and praised your efforts for it. This pastor is looking for black responsibility. He wants his people to stand up and earn it them selves. Not look to Obama to inact reperations for them. He wants them to be loyal to those that have been loyal to the AA community...Bill & Hillary Clinton. He isn't camaigning for Hillary he is saying when you act "fickle" people will classify you as fickle! He is trying to call them out on their need for a black Pres. over loyalty and experience. He talks alot about Obama's lack of experience. He is doing what we as whites or Latino's or Asian's can't do with out automatic dismissal as racist!

I would actually think this post should be removed because I think it does more to spread hate than upset the Obama campaign.

Donald. I too am gay, so I am well aware of the issues. This video is on youtube and is well and truly in the public domain. Manning has been featured on Fox News on various occasions & is a public figure. Therefore, it is reasonable material to discuss. Avoiding discussion of controversial issues never helps anyone. Donald. I too am gay. This video is on youtube and is well and truly in the public domain. Manning has been featured on Fox News on various occasions & is a public figure. Therefore, it is reasonable material to discuss. Avoiding discussion of controversial issues never helps anyone. So, in this instance, the thread will stay.
Thats cool, but people need to look at what this man is saying and doing and judge for themselves. My saying that I think it does not belong in a discussion on Hillary vs. Obama is my opinion. My hope is that people do not start using the fact that this man calls Obama a homosexual as a reason not to vote for him.
I would also like to point out that people have been up in arms today because an Obama supporter attacked Hillary..comparing her to Glenn Closes character in Fatal Attraction. Can we ever get back to issues?
Thats what is great about these sites, I can speak out. I chose to do so. I also feel just because something is in the public domain or its on You Tube, does not always warrant serious attention. This is one of them.
I am not trying to avoid a contoversial subject, however put it into perspective. This man is clearly homophopic. His entire rant centers on this "sin" of being gay. He shares nothing but gossip and hate. I think supporters could spend their time on more serious issues about this election.
And yes, I am gay..so it does bother me a little more. I still live in a state where gays are still being murdered for being out, Where homophobia is worse than racism..so I feel its important to call these things out when I see it. This man is just hate..
Of Cousre, I did add that this was only my opinion. I am only here to learn more about Hillary and how I can support.

Did anyone think that pastor manning is another pastor out there to make rev. wright look even more harmless?????So It goes away for Obama...I think all media and internet is a way to munipulate us....All these crazies out there so we except it and view it as harmless....A Dangerous direction to follow....If this is the bomb everyone will think its rediculous....The only thing to take out Obama is a federal indictment or he is illegal somehow...or he isnt a US citizen....
I think supporters could spend their time on more serious issues about this election.
Yes, that's why this thread is filed away in an "archive subforum", as it's not a central issue to focus on. It's one thread in 9,000. Plenty of other things for people to read regarding policies, issues & election debates etc. Each member is responsible for what they write and what they read.

I just believe that, true, as you stated this stuff is already known, so getting this stuff out to the media is wheel spinning. ;);)
I'm sure $17,000 makes a big difference in the course of an election! We know we've contributed that, at the VERY least!

It would be very arrogant & naiive of anyone to think that the actions of an internet forum - with 1900 members - are going to change the course of the US election! ;)
Dont under estimate the internet...I think we just found out its power and this little forum has made progress in this election along with other Hillary forums...Murray I have no doubt that your protest in new york and the mad as hell video made people notice...isnt it about time to pull that utube up and start spreading it around again....it was the best thing ive seen this whole year...The way she has been treated is even worse this week...

It is OK to be GAY! What is not OK is to pretend to be straight and/or bash others for being gay.

Mr. Manning's latest clip (found on another forum) for your scrutiny. I checked and don't believe this has been posted yet. Concerns the media attacks on Palin/daughter among other things.
