What has Obama done for you recently? Has the Hope+Change (TM) ad campaign gotten a little old? This manipulation is so Rovian and so unnecessary when 90 % of the media is selling you as a product (and you have been directing money--(Soros' deep pockets??--to women's issues (NARL) and poverty issues (John Edwards' college for everyone) in exchange for endorsements. Is this the "change" our aspirations are taking a chance on?

See, for me, I vote for the person. Sure the party is important, but if the party leader is corrupt, I feel there are serious issues, they have demonstrated a desire to cheat, avoid issues, not fight for me or support me, how can I with any concscience support that person be it he or she. I don't know why people give Axelrod credit for running a "brilliant" campaign. If it wasn't for the media's bias, Axelrod's strategies would have run Obama into the ground months ago. So, you guys are getting all worked up about an item that may or may not have appeared on a Fox News scroll. What has happened to healthy skepticism? With all the false rumors that have been floated about the Clintons over the years wouldn't a Clinton supporter know not to blindly fall for an unverified gossip item?

The Democratic Party used to be the party of the working people: but not anymore. Apparently it has become the party of the almighty dollar.

There is a rumor floating around the Internet that the big dogs in the Democratic Party told Hillary Clinton on Wednesday that the uncommitted super delegates she had hoped to back her at the convention would not be there for her. In fact, they had made a pact with Nancy Pelosi not to be there in an effort to put an end to Hillary's campaign.

Supposedly, when Senator Clinton argued that Sen. Obama was not electable, the big dogs in the party said it didn't matter. What did matter in their eyes was the huge number of new registrants in the Democratic Party and the enormous amount of money that Obama had been able to bring into the organization.

If true--this is an outrage beyond compare. The will of the people was that Hillary Clinton be the Democratic Party nominee. She won the big states, the swing states, and touched the hearts of many with her compassion. Now, I am hearing that super delegates and party leaders chose a weak candidate, such as Obama, mainly for his ability to raise money.

The public needs to demand answers. Why did the Democratic Party look the other way during the many scandals that faced Barack Obama? The Rev. Wright controversy, his willingness to spend twenty years in an Afro-centrist church, while at the same time preaching unity, the Rezko scandal, etc. All the time the scandals were breaking, yet his super delegate numbers continued to mount. It made no sense at the time. Now, looking back, it makes me sick.

So the Democratic Party appears intent on nominating a candidate who is unprepared and inexperienced, rather than choose a candidate ready on day one.

The Democratic Party must be taught a lesson. This behavior is not acceptable. I have worked for this party all my life, and now, I recognize that I was not valued. I was used.

Show the Democratic leadership the door in November. We must defeat their chosen Messiah, and retake or remake a party for and by the people.

This will be a big target or place for them to migrate to, as Obama will see this and other Hillary websites as a key opportunities to influence the masses simultaneously...by being friendly first, then trying to break us down, create doubt. We will most likely see an increase of let's support the party posts on here and also on the official website www.hillaryclinton.com (http://www.hillaryclinton.com).

They may be at first disguised as fair, Hillary supporters who then try to sway you to support Obama, or the party, who initially show support, then concern for Hillary - and little by little try to divide her support. Expect an increase in new posters. Some may be here already.

They will post threads to bring us down, cause us to lose focus and feel hopeless. With all the negative media out there we need to work extra hard to find good articles.

I am seeing more and more of this. These people come across as CONCERN TROLLS. I would be very careful of people's posts that tell you not to talk about Barack Obama, especially. The word about the background and character of BO hasn't gotten everywhere yet - it is our MISSION to do just that - get the word out!:cool:

Of course, we also stress at every opportunity how wonderful our Hill is. I am also wary of people saying they have given up on voting for Senator Clinton. I'm not sure why they'd be here, then. I understand what you're saying and agree. The point I was making in not arguing anymore with these die-hards is not wasting energy. For anyone undecided or who has not gone completely loopy on the kool-aid, we should talk their ears off about BO's negatives. To the biased media, we should point out his faults and the fact that we won't vote for him every single day. We should also stay in constant contact with supers, letting them know that the Dem party is not uniting and an Obama candidacy is doomed from the start. The trap I think we should avoid is pointless debate with delusional people who want to antagonize us into explaining why we won't vote for him, just so they can subsequently try to shame us or scare us into changing our minds. This applies to fake "nice" Obamabots, too. I think most people here are pretty discerning; they can tell whether someone might be just a little bit open to hearing the truth or if they're already gone.

Actually, you're one of my favorite posters, but, in this case, I hadn't even seen your post. I was thinking of one in particular that I saw yesterday. It struck me as a stealth Obamabot post - "Hey, boys and girls, let's not mention anything bad about Obama, just good about Hillary!" They were trying to tamp down our very well-founded dissection of this unscrupulous conman.

As for trying to convince an actual troll, you're 100% correct. These people are often paid operatives, and sometimes they don't even have an emotional stake in the political process. I think some even get off on creating havoc and confusion. That's why I'm so grateful that Murray has created this safe haven.

A few unsavory types do get through. My concern (no pun intended;)) is that there are people here who usually have quite a few posts under their belt, but they are not really Clinton supporters. The good thing is they're often sniffed out by the more experienced posters.:)

The timing of that post wasn't very thoughtful when we were all supposed to jump on the "happy" wagon so soon. I thought it could only come from someone who doesn't feel this or see the injustice. I could be wrong but, it's typical of how the view things.

The paid bloggers were for Obama but, they were move on people, that way his campaign could deny they paid bloggers...a few other organizations were in on that too. ug!! To think I used to belong to moveon.org.
