I learned over the weekend why the Republicans who have seen the tape of Michelle Obama ranting about “whitey” describe it as “STUNNING.” I have not seen it but I have heard from five separate sources who have spoken directly with people who have seen the tape. It features Michelle Obama and Louis Farrakhan. They are sitting on a panel at Jeremiah Wright’s Church when Michelle makes her intemperate remarks. Whoops!! When that image comes out it will enter the politcal ads hall of fame. It will be right up there with the little girl plucking daisy petals in the famous 1964 ad LBJ used against Barry Goldwater.

Barack may have quit his church but his religious problems are not over. Barack Obama has a Nation of Islam problem that will receive more attention in the coming days. Before Barack came on the scene, THE MAN in his political district was Louis Farrakhan. No one could take Alice Palmer’s seat without Farrakhan’s blessing. No one. I do not fault Barack Obama for seeking out the blessing of Farrakhan, but the story of what was done behind the scenes to get rid of Barack’s predecessor—Alice Palmer—has not been told. A knowledgeable source tells me that Tony Rezko played a direct role in this feat. And Rezko has been tight with Farrakhan.

It also should come as no surprise that Barack hired two members of the Nation of Islam to work on his staff—Jennifer Mason and Cynthia K. Miller. (And no, I am not merely recycling info initially reported by Debbie Schlussel. I have two independent Chicago sources for this info.) If Jeremiah Wright and Michael Pfleger had kept their yaps buttoned none of this would mean much. But the fact that both men have been—until scrubbed from the website in recent weeks—listed as spiritual advisors to Barack Obama and also are very close to Louis Farrakhan, forces the question about Barack’s faith and beliefs.

In probing those matters we begin to understand that the Nation of Islam has been a critical component of Barack Obama’s base of support. And, I am told, Louis Farrakhan has been careful to use Tony Rezko as the intermediary in his relationship with Barack. This is not guilt by association, this is guilt because of actual relationship. Farrakhan, Wright, and Pfleger are each on tape in various settings spewing the most vile racists garbage in the guise of preaching. Barack Obama, up to this point, has tried to pretend he had no idea that these men had these thoughts or said these things.

NONSENSE!! He knew and he knows. And the gig will be up when the Michelle tape hits the airwaves. One source described how this tape was acquired. Let’s just say that one of the republican candidates who is no longer in the race, but had a dandy oppo research capability, uncovered this gem. If Republican poohbahs have their way the tape will remain on ice until October. But when it comes out, Barack will be permanently branded with the Nation of Islam. That’s not a winning platform in November. And Barack’s bundlers understand this threat. I also have learned some major financial backers are asking the Barack team about the tape and are being stonewalled. It is a wild card in the political campaign that has not yet played out.

Yeah, Larry appologizes for the slow site... they've added server after server and it's hard to keep up with the traffic apparently.... yesterday there were 50k peeks there.

NOW, the big thing will be WHO WILL SHOW and WHEN we see this actual tape! I firmly believe it exists because it's not unbelievable at all... I saw some gossip that Fox will be the one breaking the story at some point.... one mentioned this evening.....but I'll believe it when I see it.
I think Larry (who has a great reputation) is putting a lot on the line talking about this when it is being held back from the public....

I think the connections that Larry makes between Obama and the Nation of Islam are as important as the actual Michelle tape. There is no way the Democrats can seriously field a candidate for President with this background of radicalism.

I just have the feeling that there is the fix in to trash the Cliintons. They will do whatever they have to do so that Hillary does not win the nomination and they are starting this rumour campaign about Bill's "alleged" inappropriate behavior on the campaign trail. So much of this inequity is so obvious, there must be some overriding reason why they are so flagrant in their singlemindedness.

The other thing is why is Alice Palmer saying that she does not want to be part of the story, about the tactics Obama used against her, yet she is a Clinton supporter. Is there some pressure or underlying reason why she doesn't want that brought up?

I don't want to be a downer, but I don't see the article at NQ as being any big deal at all. It's like "I heard from a friend who heard from a friend" kind of thing. Until it's proven the tape actually exists and is played out in front of the public, this thing today on NQ makes Larry Johnson look like an opportunist who tried to flush "the tape" out from the GOP/media. In other words, he thought if he said he had crucial information and proof about it, that the GOP and media wouldn't want to be upstaged by him and THEY would release the tape. Johnson's plan backfired. Now he has egg on his face and his credibility is pretty much shot IMO.

Talk about a frickin' letdown. First we had Sinclair claiming he was in Washington, DC really shaking things up and that he would be providing astounding proof that Obama is gay, blah, blah, blah. Then Johnson who was going to break out this astounding video of Michelle Obama using the "whitey" term. Guess what? We are still sitting here waiting, looking like idiots for putting stock into anything either one of them say.

Now....the only saving grace is Robert Stone who was on Fox who said the tape exists. He's the guy who broke the story on Eliott Spitzer and the call girl stuff. If Stone puts stock in the Michelle Obama "tape" theory it probably is true. But....until it's truly exposed we need to press on.

I'm not saying that what was on Johnson's website isn't illuminating and holds some interesting information but until all this can actually be proven (or disproven) it's just heresay. Best thing to do is to press forward, make calls, write letters, and keep campaigning for Hillary all the way to the convention or until she tells us otherwise.

I don't want to be a downer, but I don't see the article at NQ as being any big deal at all. It's like "I heard from a friend who heard from a friend" kind of thing. Until it's proven the tape actually exists and is played out in front of the public, this thing today on NQ makes Larry Johnson look like an opportunist who tried to flush "the tape" out from the GOP/media. In other words, he thought if he said he had crucial information and proof about it, that the GOP and media wouldn't want to be upstaged by him and THEY would release the tape. Johnson's plan backfired. Now he has egg on his face and his credibility is pretty much shot IMO.

Talk about a frickin' letdown. First we had Sinclair claiming he was in Washington, DC really shaking things up and that he would be providing astounding proof that Obama is gay, blah, blah, blah. Then Johnson who was going to break out this astounding video of Michelle Obama using the "whitey" term. Guess what? We are still sitting here waiting, looking like idiots for putting stock into anything either one of them say.

Now....the only saving grace is Robert Stone who was on Fox who said the tape exists. He's the guy who broke the story on Eliott Spitzer and the call girl stuff. If Stone puts stock in the Michelle Obama "tape" theory it probably is true. But....until it's truly exposed we need to press on.

I'm not saying that what was on Johnson's website isn't illuminating and holds some interesting information but until all this can actually be proven (or disproven) it's just heresay. Best thing to do is to press forward, make calls, write letters, and keep campaigning for Hillary all the way to the convention or until she tells us otherwise.

Absolutely. I just finished sending it, with my own brief comments, to all undecided superdelegates asking them to declare for Hillary, and also to those declared for Obama and asking them to switch.
