If any of you had the opportunity to watch Fox & FRiends this morning, you probably saw Bob Beckel being interviewed about todays political events.

Towards the end of the interview he announced to the Fox & FRiends hosts that he has been told by numerous people,(enough and in a way that convinced him) that a bombshell will be dropping tomorrow about Michele Obama.

The Friends turned white and asked what it might be...was it worse than a college thesis? Bob said—Oh yes, in a BIG way. He said that the Repubs were behind it and it was dumb because it meant that Mrs. Clinton would be the nominee.

So the die is cast, IMHO Hillary will suspend her campaign within the next 24 hours and then the bomb will drop, leaving the Republics to take the blame.

Beckel said that this will make Hillary the candidate. Whatever is on that tape (if it is a tape)it must be a beaut.

Either way HRC will be our nominee.. I think the GOPers just don't want Obama anywhere near the POTUS seat. Even if that means HRC will get it, the possibility and the way the MSM has been gunho about BO is enough to make them wring their hands.

It's not the DNC that will determine this it's the Super Delegates that have yet to come out and some that have gone with Obama. That's the point, the DNC can't do anything it's the Supers that will decide this thing.

A couple of weeks ago, I saw a TV discussion with Shephard Smith, Kirsten Powers, Bob Beckel and all the gang. They were discussing the sexism in the media. Bob Beckel chimed in and said they had to keep Clinton down and attack her to make her strong so she could rise up and be strong. I thought that was quite curious and fits with one of my theories, so let's see.

I do believe if there is a tape the GOP will save it to closer to the GE where it will have more effect. It would be nice if this is true, but I'm to the point where I'll believe it when I see it. One thing does puzzle me though, as good as networks are at getting information, I'm shocked no one has been able to unearth anything.

In regards to the GOP, they should look at this two ways.

1) Clinton as the nominee will rally the GOP base that McCain lacks around him.
2) Better to lose to someone experienced like Clinton than an upstart like Obama.

Major Update: While the ‘rumors’ of the tape were hinted at this morning on talk radio, nothing major was discussed as far as I could tell (I only get to listen to small bits, if at all). But one bit of critical information was let out by Jed Babbit (spelling?) this morning as he sat in for Laura Ingraham: it turns out the tape does not have Louis Farrakhan and Michelle Obama, it has Mrs. Farrakhan and Michelle. This revelation tells me (again) that the media has the tape and are working with someone to time its release, still expected for tomorrow sometime.

As I predicted below and yesterday it seems Clinton will not end her campaign, but simply suspend it tonight, with the tape coming out (coincidentally) tomorrow before a wave of Super Delegate pronouncements hit the news. As I noted below I find the collusion with the media (left or right) on determining the timing of this news to be totally improper and manipulation of our democratic process. - end update

If any of you had the opportunity to watch Fox & FRiends this morning, you probably saw Bob Beckel being interviewed about todays political events.

Towards the end of the interview he announced to the Fox & FRiends hosts that he has been told by numerous people,(enough and in a way that convinced him) that a bombshell will be dropping tomorrow about Michele Obama.

The Friends turned white and asked what it might be...was it worse than a college thesis? Bob said—Oh yes, in a BIG way. He said that the Repubs were behind it and it was dumb because it meant that Mrs. Clinton would be the nominee.

So the die is cast, IMHO Hillary will suspend her campaign within the next 24 hours and then the bomb will drop, leaving the Republics to take the blame.

Beckel said that this will make Hillary the candidate. Whatever is on that tape (if it is a tape)it must be a beaut.

Finally, a media source answers my question of how Michelle Obama making these kinds of comments could escape the attention of local media: "How did the message of Trinity United Church of Christ escape the attention of the Chicago media? UPDATE: A reader found the schedule for the 2004 Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference. For what it is worth, there's no mention of Michelle Obama as a speaker. She is mentioned as a "special guest" at the Women's Luncheon on Monday, June 28, 2004, along with Shoshana Johnson, the first African-American woman POW. (This is obviously the event where they were photographed with Mrs. Farrakhan.)

Until you see the tape with your own eyes, I would not count on any massive shoes dropping...
