She's thanking Bill, Chelsea, her mother who turns 89 tomorrow and her staff etc. and all of the people who had the courage to tell me your stories on the campaign trail... met a woman outside Tally's Restaurant, she grabbed my hand, and asked what are you going to do to make sure I have health care? She started to cry... she told me she worked 3 jobs and hasn't been able to afford insurance ever since she left home.

It is shameful in this country that someone has to tell me this story.

Tonight we stand just a few miles from the Statue of Liberty and the site where the twin towers fell... lady liberty's presense is a constant reminder we are resilient and courageous and when we face our challenges together, no dream we can't realize, just start acting like Americans again.

Thank you and God Bless America... crowd cheers and music up and Bill hugs here and that's it.

This is what is amazing to me about Hillary: Slhe continues to win, even in a state she was not predicted to win. The only way he wins the nomination is by the cheating that went on last Sat. and the SD's that came on at the last minute.

The will of the American people was that Hillary Clinton should be our next president and that has been completely overlooked ONCE AGAIN!!!

no see I was very happy she is NOT QUITTING but no she didn't say she was going on but remember people she has been a loyal democrat for over 35 years. She put in a lot of time and she is probley very hurt by these same people. She is torn between wanting to leave and staying. I believe though that if she BELIEVES Obama is BAD for the Country she will either leave the Party or split the convention. We must not let her split the convention it would be better she leave quietly or become a Republician its funny the Republicians are moving more to the center and the Democrats are moving to the left. I feel the same way I think Hillary feels betrayed by a party who I worked hard for and contributed my hard earned money too and how do they repay me by SLAPPING ME IN THE FACE. So I will follow our leader's advice and think about rather or not I wish to remain a Democrat.

ITS NOT HIS RACE I OBJECT TOO ITS HIS RACISM.

I met a devil woman
She took my heart away
She said, I've had it comin' to me
But I wanted it that way
I say that any love is good lovin'
So I took what I could get mmh, mmh, mmh
She looked at me with them brown eyes

And said, You ain't seen nothin' yet
B-B-B-Baby, you just ain't seen n-n-n-nothin' yet
Here's something that you're never gonna forget
B-B-B-Baby, you just ain't seen n-n-n-nothin' yet
And you're thinkin' you ain't been around, that's right

And now I'm feelin' better
Cause I found out for sure
She took me to her doctor
And he told me of a cure
He said that any love is good love
So I took what I could get
Yes I took what I could get
And then she looked at me with them big brown eyes

And said, You ain't seen nothin' yet
B-B-B-Baby, you just ain't seen n-n-n-nothin' yet
Here's something, here's something that you're never gonna forget, baby
B-B-B-Baby, you know, you know, you know, you just ain't seen nothin' yet
You need an education, got to go to school

Any lovin' is good lovin'
So I took what I could get
Yes I took what I could get

I know I ain't seen nothin' yet, mmh, mmh, mmh
I got something for you right now
Feels good, alright, how do you do that
But I ain't seen nothin' yet
But I deserve it one of these days
Woohoo, but I ain't seen nothin' yet
I ain't seen nothin' yet
Yeahyeahyeahyeahyeahyeah

I have said it before, and I will say it again: Senator Clinton intends to be the next president of the United States of America. This is my informed opinion based on communications from the campaign, participation in conference calls, and my own assessment of current political realities.

Nobody can read Senator Clinton's mind so I can only offer my opinion on this matter. But consider some realities: Senator Clinton does not think a ticket topped by Senator Obama stands a good chance of beating Senator McCain (so why would she take the second seat on such a ticket?). If Senator Clinton is not the Democratic nominee for president, she will retain her Senate seat and I assure you that in that position she would be the most powerful political figure in the United States for the next twenty years, bar none (Senator Obama seems very likely to lose to John McCain, and losers in general elections tend, these days, not to hold very much sway). If I see no per centage in Senator Clinton accepting the v.p. slot, rest assured she, who is far more politically astute than I am, will see the matter similarly.

Already, over 5,000 people are saying NEVER OBAMA.

Gosh...she is the greatest leader. By what I am gathering democracy as she has always said and as we all know it most important than anything. And anytime you put democracy first and our country first ....your party comes second. I remember when Chelsea was being bashed by MSNBC and in an interview she said...."I am a mother first....then a candidate second" I got that same feeling tonight while she was talking.....as if she were saying I put democracy first....and my party second.

Hillary gave an awesome speech tonight! I loved it and what I loved even more were the ticked off faces of the knuckleheads at CNN. James Carvel was hysterical laughing at all of them.

Hillary don't stop! Keep going take it to the convention.

:D

Beckel is saying Hillary's speech was upsetting to him and that because of it she won't get the VP ... "I'll try to say this very carefully. For her to tell people on the phone that she was going to concede and then not do that is upsetting. She was supposed to concede!"

Mr. Beckel, I'll try to say this very carefully- Hillary doesn't want the VP!

Asking us to go to her official website to give her our thoughts about the path ahead! Hint-Hint, People!!!

She said she'd be meeting w/ leaders to discuss what is best for the party!

Speech Done!!

I realize that is what she believes she has to say -- "what is best for the party." But I wish one politician, just one, would stand up for what is best for the people and for the country and drop that "party unity" line. .... Perhaps I was an independent, non-affiliated too long, but I don't buy the "party unity" theme regardless who says it. The "PUMA" slogan sounds better all the time.
Don't get me wrong, I still fully support Hillary for the nomination unless she makes it clear that she doesn't intend to fight on to the convention. And if she doesn't or if she does and does not prevail at the convention, I will support John McCain because it's crucial Obama never be elected president. I can respect him and this isn't the time to vote 3rd party or sit the general election out.

So who is she supposed to have told on the phone that she was going to concede? Sounds like a rumor that was floated and Beckel is using the rumor against her.
As for her even considering VP, I sincerely hope she shows more respect for herself, her supporters, and the principles I believe she has represented than to do that under any circumstances.

OH God, so many "if onlys" for this past 6 months... :(

The "if's" and "if only's" are getting irritating. I'm at the wait and see point. Other than writing one more time to super delegates, that's pretty much all we can do as long as Hillary's course of action is still up in the air.

I just received this email from "info@hillaryclinton.com". With all the information and speculation I am beginning to feel like I am reading tea leaves to predict the future.

Dear ,
Over the course of this campaign, I have seen the promise of America in your courage and character, your energy and ingenuity, and your compassion and faith.

Your spirit has inspired me every day in this race. While I traveled this country talking about how I wanted to help you -- time and again, you reached out to help me. To grab my hand or grip my arm, to look me in my eyes and tell me, don’t quit, keep fighting, stay in this race for us. There were days when I had strength enough for the both of us -- and on the days I didn't, I leaned on you.

This has always been your campaign, and tonight, there's no one I want to hear from more than you. I hope you're as proud as I am of what we've done and that you'll take a moment to share your thoughts with me now at my website.

I want to congratulate Senator Obama and his supporters on the extraordinary race that they have run. Senator Obama has inspired so many Americans to care about politics and empowered so many more to get involved, and our party and our democracy are stronger and more vibrant as a result.

Whatever path I travel next, I promise I will keep faith with you and everyone I have met across this good and great country. There is no possible way to thank you enough for everything you have done throughout this primary season, and you will always be in my heart.

You have thoughtful posts. I tend to agree with your opinion.
I think that she does feel that she is People’s president, but she needs us people to help her. Party turn down on her. She still has support there and very strong, but not enough. We, people, have to give her that support.

I am very grateful she didn’t give up. She had power today and she shows how brilliant she is. I am so proud to support her.
