She doesn't need HIS skeletons. I AM WARMING TO THE IDEA OF MAC/HRC - YES! WOW - THAT WOULD BE UNITY AND I JUST LOVE JOE'S MSG. THIS COULD BE THE BEGINNING OF A NEW PARTY!!!!

To: Fellow McCain Supporters

From: Senator Joe Lieberman

Date: June 5th, 2008

Today, I asked Senator McCain if I could create and chair a new grassroots organization, "Citizens for McCain."

Citizens for McCain is an organization within the McCain campaign for people who put country before political party and support the candidate for President who has a proven record of bipartisanship.

As you know, I caucus with the Democrats as a United States Senator and was the Democrat Party's nominee for Vice-President of the United States against President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

But first and foremost, I am an American. I have an obligation to do what I think is best for our nation regardless of political party. My love for this country and strong belief in John McCain's character, judgment, and willingness to work with leaders of both parties has convinced me to support him for President.

I have worked with John McCain for many years in the U.S. Senate and know from experience that he can unite Democrats, Republicans and Independents like no one else in this country. He did it in the United States Senate and he can do it as President of the United States.

But we need help from McCain supporters such as you to reach out to Americans who are not currently involved in the campaign. Will you help us by recruiting your friends, family, and co-workers who may not consider themselves members of the Republican Party and ask them to join the Citizens for McCain organization?

I am confident we will find many Democrats and Independents who, like John McCain and me, put country before political party and will support a leader with a real record of bipartisanship.

Time and time again John McCain has put his country first. He refused early release when he was held captive in Vietnam. He continued to put his country first as a national leader in the U.S. Senate. He put country before party when he fought to pass campaign finance reform, sought a bi-partisan solution to the immigration problem, and consistently supported pro-environment policies. His courage to stand up to the failed Iraq war plan of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and lead the fight for a new strategy in Iraq will go down in history, and it saved American lives. These were not always the easy things to do. In fact, they were usually very difficult, and often threatened his political career. But John McCain did what was right.

He said it best in his speech in New Orleans on Tuesday night:

"(The American people) know I have a long record of bipartisan problem solving. They've seen me put our country before any President -- before any party -- before any special interest -- before my own interest. They might think me an imperfect servant of our country, which I surely am. But I am her servant first, last and always."

The phones at the campaign headquarters have been ringing with disaffected Democrats calling to say they believe Senator McCain has the experience, judgment, and bipartisanship necessary to lead our country in these difficult times. Many of these supporters are former supporters of Senator Clinton.

Senator McCain has had a very good working relationship with Senator Clinton and will continue to do so in the future. In the same New Orleans speech he said:

"Senator Clinton has earned great respect for her tenacity and courage. The media often overlooked how compassionately she spoke to the concerns and dreams of millions of Americans, and she deserves a lot more appreciation than she sometimes received. As the father of three daughters, I owe her a debt for inspiring millions of women to believe there is no opportunity in this great country beyond their reach. I am proud to call her my friend."

I am proud to call John McCain my friend and ask you to help our friend become the next President of the United States.

Please forward this email to your lists today and ask your friends, family, and coworkers who do not consider themselves Republicans to join me in filling out the Citizens for McCain form today.

Thank you for your willingness to help me expand this new organization. Together, we will make history.

Hillary is overqualified for VP, she's a strong woman and it's BOzo that needs HER to get her constituencies. I think HIllary knows that and she won't put us in the difficult situation to have to decide whether to vote for BOzo if she's in the ticket knowing that we can't stand him.

"The announcement closed an epic five-month nominating battle pitting the first serious female candidate against the most viable black contender ever."

VIABLE, VIABLE, HE'S BEEN FUC*THE DNC FOR MONTHS TO GET THIS NOMINATION, MY DOG IS VIABLE, PERHAPS THEY CAN GET TOGETHER

"What does Hillary want? What does she want?" Clinton asked, hours after telling supporters she'd be open to joining Obama as his vice presidential running mate.
But by Wednesday, other Democrats made it abundantly clear they wanted something too: a swift end to the often bitter nominating contest.
Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean and the Democratic congressional leadership released a statement urging the party to rally behind Obama, and several lawmakers, including Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin, Colorado Sen. Ken Salazar and Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu, all endorsed their Illinois colleague. "

WHAT DOES SHE WANT, SHE WANTS TO BE FUC*KING PRESIDENT, THAT'S WHAT SHE WANTS YOU A**HOLES, ALL OF YOU TOGETHER CANNOT FIND A FUC*KING NICKLE IN A BANK

I told you guys that the other day in here... I talked to one of her people at HQ that I know and he said that there were initial talks between the campaigns on Tuesday night .... she said NO without saying it... basically she wasn't interested...

LISTEN UP........ Indictments are coming in the next 45-60 days for El BambO.... after the Rezko conviction yesterday!
Several of his convictions tied directly to stuff related to Obama and the Gov of IL.

So, she's suspending her campaign... looking good, keeping her delegates... she signed an agreement to fundraise with DNC.... she's just doing her "duty" which helps that good old term Party Unity (but in her favor) ... she's POSITIONING HERSELF..... I would do the same!

YES! EXACTLY! She has to do her duty, remain a loyal person. Do nothing that would sully her by behaving as anything BUT honorable by keeping her original agreements WHILE leaving her options wide open. Smartest woman I have EVER seen. Very Interesting.... I knew there would be a backlash against yesterday's Obama intimidation towards Joe Lieberman on the floor. Thank God for those who will not be intimidated and stand up for for the right way and the American people who stand for justice, equality and fairness in their political parties.

And Hillary does not want VP....well, I should think not - none of her supporters will vote for Obama spin even with Hillary on the ticket. I see PUMA are fighting to get those unelected in the various states and districts that went for Hillary but where their delegate/s went against their consituents, ignoring their votes, and put their support instead to Obama. THEIR VOTES DIDN'T COUNT.

Great to know good will prevail.

Right, You can support the troops without endorsing the war.

Lanny Davis promoted that voteboth.com petition for her as VP. yesterday he said before he did it he called her and told her he was doing it. He said he told her I am going to do this Senator he said she said well I can't stop you, you never listen to me anyway (Lanny said she said that).
I watched it too.
He was very sad.
But I am happy now. No VP!

I like Joe too and I think that he has a very good point about MAC.....He does put the Country first. That in itself these days ought to be praised. How many politicians do that? There are not many I can tell you that.
McClain/Clinton huh! It could work!

Good!! I could not invision her taking second place, to that awful man. Although I get a giggle when considering how pissed off it would make Michelle.

I absolutly cannot endure Michelle Obama. She alone is reason enough I will never support OB.

Hillary can wait it out. OB is going to self-destruct. He is already running around like he owns the planet. Somebody needs to clue him in that he has not won a thing yet.

Shadow I think that BO running around like a king and so arrogant is one of the things that annoys me the most. Not to mention his nasty wife. They have no respect for anyone. I hope self-destruct sooner than later.
I am so proud of Hillary that she is speaking up.

Clinton disavows push to make her veep

"She is not seeking the vice presidency, and no one speaks for her but her," communications director Howard Wolfson said. "The choice here is Senator Obama's and his alone."

Clinton was planning an event in Washington Saturday to thank supporters and urge them to back Obama's candidacy. But as she was bowing out of the race, supporters in Congress and elsewhere were ramping up a campaign to pressure him to put her on the ticket in the No. 2 spot.

Without proof, I am guessing, but it makes sense for her to acknowledge the man publicly, then lay low. Wait it out. She knows she has the support to win the GE. OB is not "official". Nobody is official until the second vote at the convention. A lot can happen in that time, and Hillary knows this.

Mccain has begun the job. Let him bring out the dirt. The OB supporters will probably never believe any of it, but they don't matter. What the delegates at the convention believe is what matters. If Mcain's people have anything and release it early enough, the delegates will have to re-think their choice.

It is not a done deal until the second vote at the convention.

If Obama starts tanking in the polls, the pollsters will start comparing that to Clinton vs. McCain and the SDs will then have the ammo to change over.

GREAT POINT!...AND THIS IS PRECISELY WHY IF ANY OF US GET POLLED, WE MUST SAY THAT WE`RE VOTING FOR McCAIN, (even if you really want to write in Hill`s name or sit home.).

THIS REALLY IS SOMETHING WHICH COULD CAUSE ENOUGH SD`S TO SWITCH TO HILLARY...TO GIVE HER THE NOMINATION!...WHICH SHE WAS CHEATED OUT OF...DUE TO UNFAIR, CORRUPT CAUCUSES...AN UNFAIR NOMINATION PROCESS...AND AT LEAST A DOZEN OTHER THINGS!!!

I agree. I just cannot forget what Donna Brazile said - "message to base-stay home". Keep that in mind. She knows and she fears us. She might even believe "those people will come around". But damned if I will, and I think I am not alone. Keep Donna Brazile in mind, and lets send a big message. PUMA!

Mabe Howard Dean needs more letters of explanation as to why we're not contributing to their corruption.... (like disenfranchisement of the voters in Fl & Mi...... & handing BHO delegates he didn't deserve from Michigan.... and disrespecting the former first lady of the U.S. & Senator of Ny!... among other reasons).

It would have been a very awkward combination for many people...

That said, this "news" only says she is not seeking it out. It doesn't say she would never accept the position. Seeking it out and being willing to accept it, are totally different issues.

Yes, Hillary has every right to make any decision for herself.

We are very clear here that in any case, if, Obama is the nominee, we will NOT support Obama, we will support McCain.
If Hillary will reurn as nominee, we willl again return right back to her.
If, she wishes to be VP, good luck. Her decision won't make any difference to my decision, she will not lose my respect for her. Even if she is VP, she will be our hero and inspiration.

I would do the same!

dont count on Fox or Bill O-Reily to release anything on B.O.- somebody has got to Bill, he just had a couple of Fox women on and he brought up Rezko and he just ask if he was going to jail and what had he done wrong, like he knew nothing about it !!! I just about croaked - and one of those dumb blondes did a half assed explanation, the next question was, well do you think this will effect BO's run for pres, oh no Bo was not directly involved , just the Gov B - I could not believe what O-Reily said next - oh well McCain has had some bad associations , they all have these - HA Ha
I bloged last night how that Creep Miller from LA bashed Hillary wth the most vile things and O-Reily just laughed like it was the funniest thing he had ever heard.

I am done watching his dam show - they are all phonies just playing nice to Hillary to get the interview and now they are tearing her apart - remember his raving the other night how Fox does not tell him what to say or do!!! Bull Crap!!!!! I thought Fox was half way fair , boy was i Wrong!!!

I'm so glad she said this as it was a fear of mine. I'd lose a lot of respect for her if she did take a VP slot with Obama.

I wouldn't get it, anyway. She was basically vice president under ther husband for eight years. Been there, done that. Why she's take a spot under an illegitimate usurper who accussed not only her but her supporters of being typically bitter, racists hicks simply wouldn't make a lot of sense.

I'd wish she'd be even more candid and tell him he can take that vice presidency (which isn't his to give, anyway, since he's illegitimate) and shove it where the sun don't shine.
