Up until, February, like many I would imagine, believed Hillary would be the nominee without a doubt. Since then, it has become evident that this has been planned since 2004.

I believe that the OB campaign is overlooking something important. Back when Florida (and probably other states as well) held our primary, many registered republicans changed to democratic party to be able to vote in our primary, for Obama. Not because they want him for president, but because they knew they can beat him, whereas Hillary was a real threat.

Those people have now gone back to the republican party. OB is overlooking that fact. A lot of his votes were only to stop the real threat - Hillary. He keeps forgetting that.

That moving around the country could be a very sloppy process...and I doubt it's one which has been factored into the decision.

DC is the strategic position for a national political party headquarters to opperate from because the federal government is headquartered from there. Ditto for the headquarters of national political organizations which give money and support to political parties (again whatever we think of them).

Moving around/having to move around is going to make it difficult for these groups (even in the internet era) to contact a political party.

I can't help but question who, really, is behind all this. Has anyone noticed that when OB has to speak "off the cuff", or in the few debates, he stammers and gets confused? I can't help but wonder if somebody else is the real threat and using him as a "front man". Alone, without teleprompters, ect, he stumbles and stammers, and cannot think on his feet, or answer a question. He comes across, to me, as well, kind of, dumb.

This is absurd. What happens when he looses? How will the DNC have justified this move?

Boston is another city with lots of established political opperatives. But the DNC did not dare move in 2004 for the Kerry campaign--despite the fact even that Kerry had a longer national record prior to running for President.

So the idea that they are now pulling up stake and will replant for a comparative amateur is especially puzzling. He's been in the Senate for a MUCH shorter time.

There is a critical difference between change and absurdity.
