We are NOT voting for Obama.

I am a Hillary supporter and alwasy have done what she asked - contribute money, write letters to the editor, make phone calls, canvass - I just cannot do what she told me when she suspended her campaign - vote for Obama.

I just bought more Hillary gear today and plan to keep them viisible. Guess I am "delusional" - like we Hillary supporters keep getting described as - but she is my candidate.

Actually, there is something that will make me vote for BO. If someone invents a time machine, and he goes back, and doesn't go to Wright's church, but a loving one, and doesn't take Wright as his "moral compass," but actually someone with morals. He must also reject Ayers outright, not flip off Hillary, not marry Michelle, not have nefarious dealings with Antoin "Tony" Rezko. He has to actually *write* for the Harvard Review, when he is the editor, do community work for an extended period of time, do actual work in the state and national senates. Attend the NATO meetings and know the language that Afghanis speak. Study the United States and see how many states we have. Not grab his wife's ass on stage. Not move the DNC to Chicago when he isn't the nominee. Not have his thugs steal and suppress the vote. Not lie about every big and small thing about his personal and professional life. Release his senate papers. Not be sexist, not be racist, not be anti-American, and not be a snotty little @$$#o!e to Senator Clinton. To run after he has some actual political experience under his belt. When he does all that, I will consider voting for him.:p

Uh, yeah, I'm in until the end. Thanks for asking!

Absolutely! We will work very very hard for this, but it is well worth is for the sake of this country and our kids' future, and for democracy in the US and around the world.
I will not start campaigning for McCain until after Sept 1.. but I would gladly help him with material we have gathered on BO if needed... but I will not use my phone-calling skills for him quite yet.

I'm in it till Hillary takes the White House whether that is now or in 2012. I know she is going to be the president no matter what they try to pull on her. She will not give up. So for now it's Hillary or McCain but, after that I'm out there to up her approval ratings, get out information on her Senate career and other activities, fight move on if they don't support her and even if they do AND to out all the corruption of this election season.

I'm in alright. In till she is POTUS!

I bet alot of people vote their conscience in secret this November, no matter what their mouths say- meaning NOBAMA!!!

As a former Democrat and Floridia disenfranchised voter, you can bet I'm in all the way to defeat BO.

I also will never vote for BO - I am a new Republican!!!! I could not believe that nit wit is on national TV touting that he can win without Fla, Mich & Ohio - What a jerk!!! He really thinks NM, Co & Nevada will get him the electoral votes he needs - I am sure that statement will bring him lots of votes in FLA, Mich & Ohio- Not!!

Al gore endorsed the moron in Detroit, Mi tonight of all places - Al Gore the global Czar is about as popular with the auto industry as smallpox!! What a dumb move- Oh well as he said he does not need Michigan to win the GE!!!
So all the AA votes in Detroit will be for naught if he cant win the state - Too bad they will waste thier vote!!!!!
Again I am in this til Nov - to vote for McCain!!! According to the MSM all except a very small number of Hillary supporters are running to O-Bama , Do not believe this crap - It is all spin & lies trying to pit women against women and trying to scare us not to vote for McCain as he will overturn Roe-Wade - What a bunch of hypocrits, McCain is not part of the right wing Repubs and would not do this!!! loud mouth Dick Morris saying that Hillary supporters are just trying to get her on the ticket but no feminist in the country would vote for McCain - Bet me fatty, I will vote for John McCain!!!!!
Is anyone keeping a list of all the has been Politiicians that have endorsed BO??
Kennedy - Kerry - Richardson - Edwards - Dodd - Gore and the list goes on!!!

PUMA. This is about democracy and the core Democratic principle of letting everybody vote, counting every vote, and counting every vote fully and fairly. If we don't stop this DNC/BO travesty now, we are repeating the GOP/Harris/Rove/Supreme Court travesty of 2000. Selected, not elected--that was Bush. That will be Obama if we don't keep fighting for our democracy.

I admire those of you that are hard core Hillary supporters and sticking to your guns. My preference would be for Hillary to be the democratic nominee against McCain. In either case I do not lose because Hillary is more moderate than Obama and not too far off from McCain. It she was President I would be just as confident as McCain became president. Plus she has Bill to go out and heal wounds with allies.

Originally, McCain was not my first choice. I was a Fred Thompson supporter. Now I am an anti-Obama supporter. Hopefully Obama hits some rough patches with the republican 527s eating him up and Hillary comes out clearn comparatively and is chosen as the nominee at convention in Denver. It would then be a tough choice for me between Hillary and McCain.

A dream ticket for me would be McCain/Hillary and then Hillary can take the presidency in 2012. It would be tough because the democrats in congress would call foul on the idea. However, John McCain is a maverick (well understood), and it would not surprise me to have her on his staff. He has made it clear he would reach across the aisle to get things done. Hillary would be an asset to McCain I believe. Now, my family may not feel that way right now but I do.

Having watched how all this played out for both republicans and democrats the process is a big mess. Hilary has the better case than any of the republican contenders though since she won more popular vote and the big states needed to win in November. How the DNC does not get that boggles my mind.

I really like going to http://www.johnmccain.com/ and clicking Citizens for McCain and seeing the Hillary posters. It would be a shocker if they teamed up to do the best thing to help the country. There would have to be some middle ground worked out and who is to say John McCain would not encourage Hillary to run with her health care plan. Republicans and Democrats alike need that even when giving lip service to free market options.

Sorry for the long post. I am just unsettled how this was handled and it backfired on the DNC when a republican like me would vote Hillary outright or have her as VP for McCain. She proved she is tough and that is the kind of strenghth we need as President right now.

In any case best of luck to Hillary. I hope she makes a run at convention and if she does I might just contribute to her campaign.

Good luck to those of you carrying the torch. You seem to be doing good keeping this very visible concern for the DNC.

Thank you for that WONDERFUL post, TX Republican! And welcome to the forum! I've felt such kinship with Republicans lately, it's pretty odd to be honest. But I have had lots of my Republican friends contact me and tell me they can't believe what the DNC did to Hillary. I mean, even THEY see it but Democrats like my family members and a couple of my close "rank and file" friends can't. I have felt closer to my Republican peeps this year than my Dem ones other than the ones here. I've found myself watching FOX news and listening to Hannity and Limbaugh, agreeing with Coulter *gasp*. Maybe it won't last, but it's nice right now.

I plan on voting for McCain in the fall, part of it is a spite vote, but mostly because I actually LIKE him, always have. He was always the one Republican I could see myself voting for.

Welcome to the forum.

I just wanted to be sure that we're all going to stick with this, no matter the media spin. No matter the polls. We're in this to win this for either Hillary or McCain, right?---

EVEN IF HILLARY TAKES THE VP SPOT??????????

ditto----we are in this to win if not Mccain.

I think we can pretty much say they are not going to give her the VP
slot, they continue to use this as a hook to keep us in Line.

Oh, I'm in it alright. I'm in it past November. I want to see Hillary be POTUS so even if I have to wait until 2012, I'll be in it.

If Hillary doesn't get it this time around, let's vote for Hillary via McCain.

I'm in this way past November, until this gets cleaned up. Since I learned that the DNC move has been in the works for awhile, I am waiting to see what horrendous thing they do next. This is alot bigger than just kicking Hillary to the curb.

I have never seen anything like this "takeover" in my life--except for the assassination of President Kennedy--that was a Coup as well.

I am in it... all the way DENVER NOMINATION HILLARY... PLAN B... McCain and 2012 HILLARY!!!! SHE is my PRESIDENT I hope she can be ours!!!! 2008!!!!:D

I'm in it. I personally still want to go in and push the button for Hillary but if she is not on the ballot then McCain it is. I will smile while I'm doing it and whisper, party unity my ass and laugh all the way home.

No Obama.

1. Hillary

2. McCain

There's nothing that could convince me to vote for Obama. It's my opinion that he's probably already offered her the VP spot and she's turned it down. It's just a hunch of mine...maybe more wishful thinking than anything else.

I am in it and not going anywhere. I can even see considering voting for Hillary as VP... on a McCain ticket, and when he retires in 4 years, she can be President for 8 more. Not on BO's.
But I still plan to vote for Hillary for President in '08.

but I think there is a little problem in the VERY unlikely case that hillary is VP...I nevertheless won't vote for BO but can we promote mccain in a forum called hillaryclintonforum.net if he's running against HILLARY???

That's a question for Murray and our moderators. My personal perspective is that McCain wouldn't actually be running against Hillary since he's running for President. It would still be McCain vs. Obama. Obviously, my position wouldn't change -- regardless who Obama's running mate is, I would vote for McCain.
I put my country and its security first.

I cannot see Hillary even considering the VP slot. Maybe the DNC made her endorce OB, but to commit political suicide by hooking up with him is too much to ask anybody. But, yes, I would still vote Mccain were that to happen.

No chance of the VP anymore since OB hired Hillary's ex Patty whats-her-name. Don't want to dignify her anymore than that.
No Bo ever for me, I will vote Hillary if I see her name on the ballot and if I don't, it is McCain for me. 4 years of him and we are back in business with Hillary!!

If possible, I'm even more inspired than ever. If not Hillary, then McCain.

I've been thinking about how some democrats who supported Hillary have blindly moved on to BO - believing as I once did that you can transfer loyalty from one democratic candidate to another.

What's different this year - besides deep anger/frustration over what Hillary endured (big enough issue to get me to dismiss BO completely) - is the belief that the Democrats are no longer the party they once were.

I'd like to see articles and blogs about this issue that we could use to convince those who blindly follow the Party that their loyalty is misplaced - that these life long bonds can be broken or temporarily suspended until they figure out their true base.
