I know. I just want to shield her away from BO. I know that she has no other choice. But she is really a big person to play her part with grace.

When they are on the stage together, it just going to compare & contrast the 2 of them and show how she outshines him and more suitable to lead the country.

I'll be more mad at DNC.

She'll probably focus most of her speech on the issues and then throw in a hasty, insincere "support Obama" at the end. I cannot in a million years believe that she actually wants people to vote for that creep.

He better not touch her. I always squirmed when he'd reach over and touch her arm or something during the debates and she'd look at him like "Um, can you NOT touch me, please?"

On another note, the other "Battle of Chicago" starts on Sunday, Cubs/White Sox series. GO CUBBIES!!! :D

What other choice does Hillary have? It's too late for her to run as an independent, and I don't think she would dump the Dems, anyhow. So she's either plotting some August surprise and is playing nice in the meanwhile or else she's setting herself up for 2012. Either way, she can't piss of the Party. That's OUR job.

She always out does him so while hard to watch it might also be amusing at the same time! LOL Don't forget she's an old pro and he's a infant at all of this stuff!

This was my post on the site. Lets see if it gets on.

"How on earth can anyone support Obama to hold the most powerful position in the world after listening to the constant double talk, excuses, and endless stammering coming from a man who surrounds himself with hate mongers and crooks. I am stunned that people will not leave their emotion out of it long enough to really look at this man. I don't care what Hillary or anyone else says, I cannot support such a person. Is there no more integrity? Has our country really fallen so low that we are willing to ignore such danger signs? Perhaps Pastor Wright's comments have come to pass, and God has damned America."

I will tell Terry McAuliffe anbout the nasty replies I got to my first email with link to Hillary's Sat support speech. Many of my Hillary supporters are Reagan dems and last time they voted dem was Bill Clinton and now will vote McCain

Maybe we should email her and tell her not to appear with him!!! I just don't see how this is going to work! If the crowd ends up cheering for her - he will be all huffy if he is not the center of attention!

Hey, maybe what we should do is make sure that whenever they appear in public (Lets hope its only a few appearances) that we flood the audience with her local supporters cheering whenever she is speaking and silent when he speaks - as in silent protest. Show his supporters what jerks they are but not acting like the juveniles we know them to be.

My question is, if this Larry Sinclair thing blows up tomorrow, will she still go on stage with him?

Even without that, if she knows something like a lot of us think she does, I can't see her doing all that many appearances with him. Regardless of "party unity" and she'd be doing her "job", it'd be risky to attach herself too much to him. I mean, look at all the Dems who refuse to go anywhere near him already.

Not sure why she HAS to DO IT! Did the others HAVE to DO IT! Doesn't appear that she is in the running for VP (thank goodness) so why does she HAVE to DO IT!!!! After all that we heard from her on the campaign trail about why Obama is not qualified to be President, how can she NOW say she thinks he is qualified???
What has happened in two weeks to suddenly make him qualified.

We all know what she said was the truth, why are we going to believe that suddenly he is qualified????? Seems crazy for her to do it. And because she tells us to vote for him, she should know we are saying NO DEAL! Makes no sense.

Well as a horse that has "blinders" applied to keep him or her from being distracted by frightning distractions, I think we need to apply them to ourselves the rest of this campaign.
We need to soldier on for the right cause and the right person, looking neither left or right at the distractions being dangled out in front of us.
We KNOW what they have done to Hillary and to us and our goals for the country. Nothing they can say or do now can undo it. We see even the ungoing hate spewed by BOs audiences and followers. Maybe they will learn to hide it temporarily but we know their hearts.....and their hearts and minds are now twisted by this terrible urge to get their candidate in power - at all costs.
They do not care how Hillary is trashed or how her supporters feel. They just want to win and then gloat over winning.
Only when the country suffers will minds and hearts change..but it will be too late.
I will march on and if Hillary is not the nominee, I will have no qualms, or hesitation in voting for McCain to keep this unwanted person and his followers from power.

Well, it sure is a no-win situation. If Hillary supports him and he doesn't win, it'll be her fault for not supporting him enough. If she doesn't support him and he doesn't win, that'll be her fault, too.

There's such a thing as blind loyalty. At some point you have to stand up for what is right. I cannot believe that Hillary would do this. My guess is that we're starting to annoy the Obamabots and they don't know what else to do but beg Hillary to show support.

Won't work.

Yes, we may want that. Or we may do that ourselves.

But that's now how politics works - especially at that high level.

That's why many people get turned off politics because much of it involves people having to say/do things they do not believe in, but they do so because that's what the "party" demands or requires. Maybe HC has take some time off to muster up the strength to bite her tongue while she goes through this period of having to "support" a candidate that she knows tried to destroy her reputation and who cheated her (thus far) of the nomination.

If she wishes to stay in the "party", she has no choice but to tow the party line. Otherwise she would be outcasted and forced to leave.

Look at another way, the heat is off her. BO has to watch his every move and everything that comes out of his mouth (and his wife's). The heat is on him more than ever. He is making one mistake after another, showing his inexperience on the world stage of politics.

You can attend these rallies, but stay outside. You don't have to go in and pay money to Obama. Just by being there, outside, in your Hillary gear, you let them know that you mean business.

Hillary will find out that you are there. You don't even have to chant or rally. Just physically be outside all decorated for Hillary. The press will see you and ask you why you are there. You can say to support Hillary.

Obama & Clinton to campaign together next week
A short-and-sweet announcement from Democrat Barack Obama's presidential campaign just a few minutes ago:

Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton announced today that they will campaign together on Friday, June 27th. Further details to be announced soon.

The day before, they're due to be together in Washington to meet with some of her top fundraisers.

barf well she has to do the Party Unity thing. Now I would suggest that noone show up? here is what I am thinking? If we show up then we will be basically making her campaign for him but if we stay home or show up to protest loudly whereever they are. This will send a message that she cannot help him.

I understand that she has to down this castor oil cause "it's politics", but not even if she came round to my house and begged me would I vote for him!

I do not think anyone should show up to these event because if you do you send a clear message that she can help him win. I am saying to boycott any joint appearence between the two. This will hurt our cause and if we show up we might as well just kiss August goodbye. it would be 2012 for sure

Also if you do not want her to campaign for him if you show up they will continue to make her campaign for him. She has to do this for her own good. They will try to kill her career. I personally would prefer for her to become a Republican and run on McCains ticket.

After that I know Hillary is crazy! Sorry but I know she has to do it...but I'll lose my respect if she'll do!

Don't worry, Jolene- you know it's just politics, and stinky BO will probably do something to embarrass himself and piss off more on-the-fence voters and hopefully more SDs so to cinch the nomination for our gal. :) Stay strong and don't watch- unless you are wanting to lose weight and don't mind vomiting profusely. :p

I will pass. I don't like watching my idol been bullied into doing thing that she wouldn't want to do if her political career is not on the line.

I cant stand the fact that now after trashing all the Clintons for months telling her daily through the media to just go away, now they are making her cowdown to Obama in the most public way, have you no shame...woman should be outraged at this and stop it... Its make me so angry that the DNC wants to pinp her this way.. we all know what a farce this is, its more disgraceful then FL & MI.. flabbergasted!!!!!

I can't accept that Hillary will be supporting and campaigning for Obama, while we are fighting for her, talk about Party Unity.

I was hoping she would wait until after the convention.
yeah, but she'll just be "posturing" as part of a political position for career purposes. She knows the voter position is different. Plus, she has a way of "supporting" him while still showing she has been the only right choice all along. Her speeches and actions are clever that way.

anybody that CAN go should wearing Hillary gear OR make shirts that say HILLARY ALL THE WAY Signs will not be permitted so shirts are the way to go. Hillary needs to see that we are NOT afraid, we will do this in front of her and Obama. Obama will think, oh shit, this unifying the party is not going well. REMEMBER her phone call yesterday was recorded and she said "I am full support to Obama and I hope you will too". So now when we keep showing up SHE WILL NOT BE TO BLAME FOR OUR LACK OF UNITY because she covered her ass with her speech Sat and phone call yesterday.

THIS MUST BE DONE. So for those near QUIT BLOGGING AND GO DO SOMETHING THAT WILL GET NOTICED!!!!

I hope they boo her like they did in Detroit the other night so then she has an excuse to never campaign with him, again. She could cite safety reaasons.

I cannot accept that. The second Hillary appears beside him and hands over her support base and asks people to support him, she has, as far as I am concerned, thrown me/us under the bus. Those, and there are many, who don't have computers and only have the tv media for info, are going to believe "well, Hillary supports him so I will vote for him".

If she can do this, for political reasons, then it has all been a sham. She cannot have it both ways. She does this, I am no longer behind her. I cannot accept her going in with that cesspool that is now the crooked democrat party and stand up and support that man.

There is a line to be drawn in how far a person's integrity can be stretched, and doing this, all her integrity goes down the drain. I will not be able to ever trust her word again after this.

I'm confused, when she said she'd do anything to help Obama get elected, why should it be a surprise then that she'd actually do it? We've seen this coming, for miles, and it looks like only some of us have steeled ourselves against the inevitable. Sure, when she does that it will make it official, but our mission is deconstructing the DNC before anything else. If Hillary runs back in the building while it's be demolished, we'll, so be it. Hate to sound so incredibly harsh, but either Hillary is "winking and nodding" or she's really supporting him. If it's the latter it simply doesn't matter because it's not about her, anymore.

This is just my opinion, but our mission is bigger than her. If she wants to continue the fight we'll be behind her 110%, but if she doesn't, we have other things to attend to, period. Either way, we win. We have to look out for our own self-preservation.

Will have have a flag bearer following him around with his new Obamaland flag? Maybe a couple of trumpets to sound his arrival? Or will Howard Dean be there to roll out the red carpet for him?

I am disgusted and I don't mind saying so. For months I listened to both Hillary and Obama, and I trusted and believed in Hillary, while I became more and more disgusted by the dirty tricks, name-calling, nastiness and cheating from Ob.

So now, he managed to hijack the party, steal the DNC to his own back yard where his hired thugs have control, has unlimited access to cash he does not have to account for, has threatened other democrats re-elections if they don't get with him, and I could go on,,,

I have a line I will not cross, regardless. Hillary may have been pressured to make that speech saying she is suspending and that she gives her support to Ob, but it turned my stomach. Just how important is it to her to stay in the game, when the game is rigged? At what point does Hillary say "you know what? I refuse to give up my morals and condone this. I refuse to "go along to get along" when it means I have to get down into this vileness".

I would have cheered her had she done that.

But to actually go out to help him publicly? Tell people to support him? Go campaign for him? No. If she intends to get into the mud with thieves and dirty dealings, don't ask me to follow along.

I don't blame Hillary. She is a Democrat through and through. Her husband was a Democratic President. She can't turn her back on her party or the party of her husband. I also think she knows she has to reinforce her position now, and make another run in 2012. If she stabs the party in the back now, they are not going to support her running in 4 more years. She will do what she has to do, and so will we. This 1 of 18 million is already blogging on John McCain's site, and there are a whole lot of us. We need to make sure Obama looses in November. That is when we can start working for HIllary again for 2012.

By standing up for her party and not turning her back on such corruption and hatred she is more or less sending the signal that those things are okay with her. Each day that passes shows Obama up more and more for what he is and what he stands for. If Hillary stands by his side then people will automatically assume that she approves. As far as her stabbing the party in the back, they've already done that to her and I doubt that many think they would ever stand behind her for any reason, at any time. Why would they have driven her out of the race and handed it to a nobody with no qualifications other than the fact that he felt it was his. Personally I feel that Hillary's value in the Democratic Party has been decided on and neither she nor anyone else can change it.
