Carpathia to the Rescue
We had a weird, free-association, vivid dream last night.
Normally, we're not the sort that shares dreams, or overanalyzes them. Truth be told, we don't even analyze them, period, since we rarely remember them.
But, last night, we dreamt about the steamship RMS Carpathia, pulling into New York Harbor, filled with refugees...not from the Titanic, though, but from the Democratic Party. Captaining the ship was, obviously, Hillary Clinton.
It seems the Obama campaign hit an iceberg, and sank like that other ship of fools in the past: Unsinkable? Unthinkable!
Howard Dean, Donna Brazile, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid all plotted together to hand the Democratic Party over to Barack Obama, completely abandoning the party's core constituents and tenets to do so. That's cutting a heck of a lot of voters out, and slicing a lot of lifeboats off the side of an unsinkable fantasy.
Everyone we talk to who is into dreams and has good intuition keeps saying the same thing: that Obama will hit an iceberg in July, and will sink before the Convention.
There's a reason Obama is trying to take Clinton's name off the nominating ballot at the Convention in Denver...and a reason Dean and Brazile took 4 of Clinton's delegates away on May 31st...and a reason Pelosi and Reid pressured the supers in Congress to endorse Obama on June 3rd.
It all adds up to iceberg season in July, if you ask us (and we're not talking lettuce, or arugula, here).
