Hillary gave us a thank you! She also asked us to support Obama and said that she felt we needed a Democrat in the Oval Office and the Senate and other offices. She asked for us to help her pay off her debt.
I say thank you Hillary!
I say never Obama!

with retiring her campaign debt, I will contribute to that, but I WILL NOT WORK FOR, SUPPORT,OR VOTE FOR Obama!!!!
I think she wanted to make contact with supporters...I am NOT a part of the democratic family.
I know she is loyal, but.....please leave the abusive relationship the the DNC Hillary!

The man said he they wanted to keep in contact with this group! Hopefully for her nomination!
I have a general question....if against all our wishes Obama does get the nomination, and after the convention the RNC releases his dirty laundry into MSM, can he be replaced? or does he simply get defeated in November?

she is only concerned with paying the venders, not the loan she gave herself. But anyone else listening, remember she said that she won. I think the dnc made her do that stuff about bo. but she did stress that the call was to thank us for all the work we have done on her behalf.

Ladies and gentlemen of the forum and all those who have joined in on this conference call, remember that Hillary is, more or less, under pressure to support the democratic party. This does not mean we must! I DO NOT and WILL NOT support Obama!! Take it to Denver or McCain.
I urge you all to stick to your principles which are much more important than supporting a corrupt party!!

The truth is they did state that the call would be recorded so she had to tell us to support BO. This is better than going out and campaigning with him. I still have hope that by her saying that she wanted us to stay together she mean't that she will continue to fight.

Sadly this woman has been strong armed into making "support Bo" statements. Though we never will, and she knows that. She must give these sort of remarks. If she wanted to give up she could and just release those delegates, but she hasn't and didn't on this call. She knows what she's doing and we will continue our fight to Denver!

That is exactly right! We will continue to fight onward! Hillary is under tremendous pressure from the Democratic party to support the presumed nominee , Mr Nobama!! She also knows that we have come too far, worked too long, know too much to give up!!
On with the march to Denver and standing up for what is right for America. It is not our duty to defend, support or honor a corrupt political party...... quite the opposite!!

There were little things here and there on the call that made me believe that there is still some fight in her. I also saw on Fox today one of Hillary's money backers telling Neil Cavuto that all of Hillary's backers want to step back and take a deep breath before making any decisions. She also went on to say that anything can happen between now and the convention. She had this smile on her face like she know something. In fact, Neil ask her what she knew and she laughed. She told him she knew as much as he did. So don't give up the fight, hang in there and keep going. The DNC must not win!

It was so wonderful to hear her voice! I was at our family's Taekwondo school waiting for my children to get out of class while I was on the call. I almost burst into tears when I heard her thank us for the fund raising and donating time to call and support the different offices across the country.
I have "selective listening" when it comes to the "Unity" crap. I just pretended that she told me to keep my eye on him.;)
I wish I could donate more money to help her pay off her debt, but I maxed out for the primary. :(

I think you are so right!! Hillary is simply complying with the basic support she has promised for the presumed nominee. As always, she is keeping her word.
There are two months to go before the convention and I do believe Hillary is stepping back to simply allow Obama to disintegrate by his own making! This way no one can blame her for not doing what was expected of her. We know in our hearts that Obama will self destruct......along with all the king's horses and all the king's men ( and women ).
The man is a freud! He is corrupt and this is the time to apply MORE pressure, not less!! Keep up the great work and have NO DOUBT!! I am truly positive and totally optimistic that when all is said and done, Hillary Clinton will be the democratic nominee and the next President of the United States!!

I'm betting that our numbers of HRC voters going to McCain are becoming well known. She definitely had to make this call to show support, however she (something happened I didn't get a code number so I wasn't in the call), did state for us to stay together and keep doing what we were doing, right?
Well, okay, plan A: Hillary, plan B: McCain.

first of all lol I do not believe that anyone is forcing her to do anything. I am pretty confident when I say this. I have also realzed that what Hillary SAYS to do and what she WANTS us to do are two different things. She said she wants us to stay together--that means she wants us to stay together and fight for her. She said that we need to take the House and the Senate--which means she wants us to take them out if necessary. Why mention Down ticket Dems? She wants us to do what she cannot do. Take no heed in what she says but how she says it? Now I seriously do not think the Dems can do anything to her. She has the power now because she has us. Do not become discouraged and please do not give up on our girl. She is fighting for us but she needs us to fight for her now. Lets get this nomination back for our girl first and then if we are unsucessful then its John McCain. She is playing the game and its going to backfire on the DNC.

There was a post on Larry Sinclair's site today from a "reliable source within the Democratic party" (grain of salt, please) that at that joint meeting with Hillary at Diane Feinstein's house, he offered Hillary the VP spot, she turned him down in no uncertain terms, and told him not to expect her or Bill to campaign aggressively for him. Now, this obviously runs counter to public statements from people close to her that she would accept the VP nod.

Qualified, experienced, mature, principled. The PC, Pelosi Coalition, is throwing away the WH in order to snag BO's money and new voters for all the Congressional elections. I think BO knows he's a puppet and is happy to sashay into another office he did not earn and cheated to get. He's "won" the nomination, history making enough for him. This primary was just testing the waters for future campaigns--at our democracy's expense.
All this unity talk is fascism. We must keep mailing Hillary Roll Call/Floor Fight in Denver postcards while we pay off her debt and hold DNC/BO accountable for not being accountable, as in votes and delegates.
Hillary is parroting the party words--that's all. She knows WE are not supporting BO in any way.
Fight on, PUMA and Just Say No Deal! Keep calling/writing super and pledged delegates. Onward and Upward!

I understand that she's under pressure to make a public appeal to her supporters to support BO. But, and I'm willing to admit here that I may be dense, what could they honestly do to her if she had not made that call? Or if she had called but said "I still support the party and all of the Dem candidates. I hope you will do so, as well, but I respect every individual's right and responsibility to make his or her own determination about which candidate they chose to support." Seriously, even if it was recorded. What could they have done to her that they have not already done? They're never going to try to help or support her, regardless. She has already publicly, and with the party doing every damn thing they could do to humiliate her and diminish us, asked us to support him. Why the call? I wish I felt as optomistic as others that she actually is sending us another signal, and maybe had I heard her tone of voice, I would feel better. But, I'm concerned that it's just going to come back down to everyone pushing us to support BO. I, for one, will never do so in this life time, but with enough calls from the Clinton "friends" in high places, and with her asking us to support him. I fear that some may lose their resolve.
So now, regardless of what Hillary says, I say we re-double our efforts. This time, lets make sure to include in our letters to the SDs and others that, while we appreciate Hillary's concern for the party, and for putting Dems in as many positions as possible, we do not share that view, and will maintain our position to work against BO and all of his supporters.

HRC's in a great position. She can sit and wait for the convention and watch the winds change. Yes, I agree that she has to say those things but she can also change her mind when he really falls off his pedestal. I plan on continuing my email campaign to all elected officials and SD's about upholding the democratic consitution about fair reflection and voting for the candidate that is most electable. Let the big money donors work their magic. It's gonna take all of us together.

Do not become discouraged and please do not give up on our girl. She is fighting for us but she needs us to fight for her now. Lets get this nomination back for our girl first and then if we are unsucessful then its John McCain. She is playing the game and its going to backfire on the DNC.
Sounds like we need to snail mail and/or email her that we "got the message" and we will "take it from here"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love your resolve, Southern Knight! And as for people deciding to vote for BO: Nothing anyone says will change who he is, what he has done, whom he has associated with, or his wife. So there's exactly ZERO chance of my voting for him, and many, many other people feel the same. If anything, their resolve gets stronger every day, as he reveals more and more of his true self. Hey, today the Orange Sippy Cup was even mad at him, for selling out on FISA!
We here weren't surprised, though. We know what the deal is. So we will keep fighting, and we will keep winning hearts and minds, as people see Barack Obama for what he really is: a bamboozling, conniving empty suit conman, and as they see Senator Hillary Clinton for what she really is: a brilliant, compassionate, patriotic soon-to-be first lady!! (that's me as Secret Service, protecting our girl, Hill:))

I do not think she is being blackmailed and I do not think she is under pressure. I guess its because I am from the Ghetto. I have had to learn how to watch people really watch them. I have spent the past 16 years watching my Heroine and I am telling you guys that she is not being pressured. She is not trapped in the Democratic Party. Do you think that she could not change her party. She can and the Republicans would love that. Now she doesn't want to do that. This is her party and she wants us to get it back for her. She had her own reasons to do what she did and that is to look like she is cooperating with the UNITY crap. Remember they were trying to blame her for the party spliting when we all know it was BO now she cooperates and what can they say? Not a damn thing. She knows what she is doing? If she is our Commander and Chief then we must remember that and TRUST her I do and I am to ghetto to trust anyone. She has never let me down in her life and I do not expect her to now.

I'm trying to convince my family and friends that their donation will go to Hillary. My friends were reluctant to donate because they saw the "support Senator Obama" message before they got to the homepage. The "Show Hillary your Support" contribute button is very small. There is a much larger "support Senator Obama" message next to it. My friends believe their donation will go to Obama. Like me, they don't want to support Obama. I e-mailed finance@hillaryclinton.com to alert them of this problem and suggested they move the Show Hillary your Support button to the 1st page and add a money meter.

Please inform your friends that the donation on Hillary website will go to retire her debt. She said it in the conf call that the campaign needs to payoff the vendor. And there was great urgency in her voice.
Please help rally everyone you know who will be willing to help Hillary retire her debt.

Use this link: http://www.hillaryclinton.com/contribute/H4K5 -- it goes directly to Hillary's Primary Fund and we see our team's contribution grow (an energizing experience).
Third party collection like in the prior message can involve some money being held back.. or an option for them to use their discretion on how to divert the money.
I never let those others decide/divert the money..
use the links from this Forum that go directly to HRC's website. Thanks.

It's not what the DNC can do to her. It is the fact that it was recorded and what the MEDIA would do. Let's suppose she had said what you suggested...hence would be broadcast tonight the following Keith Olbermann "special commentary":
"And even as she flames out into the sunset of her defeat, Senator Clinton defiantly tries to scorch the earth with her underhanded rhetoric. In a conference call today with her supporters SUPPOSEDLY (Keith's eyebrows are raised so high they are now part of his hairline) intended to win their backing of the presumptive nominee, she took a mamouth backswipe at him by suggesting her supporters vote for who they choose. This cold, calculated remark was her last feeble attempt to place the seed of doubt about the validity of the nominee thus assuring a divided Democratic party, a certain loss in November and the door open for her in 2012 as the "Woman Who Would Have Won."
(Here is where Olbermann starts spittleing)
HAVE YOU NO SHAME, SENATOR CLINTON. (Keith's eye brows are so furrowed they are now uni-brow) Once again, Clinton demonstrates she is only in this for her own power, her own glory...and the good of the nation be damned.
YOU SENATOR CLINTON cannot turn this race into your own personal venedetta. (Keith is now foaming at the mouth.) You might hold sway with your rabid, dangerous supporters, but the American people are by and large, good, honest, decent people who know the only truth needed to be known at this stage of the game. Senator Obama is THAT TRUTH....and you Senator Clinton are the lie WE THE PEOPLE will not buy. (foam at the mouth is now a steady stream of drool) We will remember this Senator Clinton and you can GO TO HELL in 2012! (keith throws papers so violently he requires massive stitches for all the paper cuts.)"

Yes. I do wish people would learn to read between the lines. Though the shackles may have been loosened with her suspension, make no mistake, Hillary is still very much shackled to the party. She will say what she has to say, and not a thing more.
What I do want people to realize, though, is that just as much as our movement is about paying off her debt and ultimately vindicating her from her mistreatment by the DNC, our mission, now, regardless of what she has (or even wants) to say is more important than even that.
Our mission now is to make sure that what happened to Hillary never happens again to any other candidate, and if that means demolishing the DNC piece by piece, so be it. Our mission is now much bigger than even Hillary. It's about fighting for democracy and properly carrying it out in all circumstances, and I'm sure that that is something Hillary can agree with.

Point taken, but lots of lines, lots of people, potentially, lots of different reads. Guess we all - or at least I - have a much more black and white view of the party than Hillary can afford to have, I'm sure. My "they screw you so screw them" attitude is unrealistic for her. I do continue to believe, however, that no matter what she does or does not do both the DNC and the media have and will continue to find a reason to villify her, regardless. Just one person's read.

Looks, she's staying away as much as possible but they will blame her and boot her from the party if she says one thing against BO now.
Her best bet to the White House is in Denver this year if some bomb shell drops on BO that forces him out of the race; or, we then look to 2012. But for 2012 to happen, BO cannot enter the doors to the White House.
Let's keep pressing the press to expose BO... We have 2 months to have something happen; otherwise, we have no choice but to work to see that McCain becomes Prez. Let's stay positive!

I still do not think she is tied to that party. Hillary does what she wants. She did what she did to play the game. That is how its done. Now she doesn't seem upset to me which would indicate that she was being strong armed but I do not think that is the case. We do not know what she is planning to do but whatever it is she will let us know. I really do not think this was pressure. Like I said a million times she does NOT WANT US TO SUPPORT OBAMA. Think back to the Primary. How many times did she and Bill both say that McCain was her friend. Did she ever say Obama was her friend--no not one time. Why was that? That is code for vote for McCain if I lose. Also during her concession speech she said BOs name so much because everytime she said his name he got boos. I think that is the result she wanted. She did not take vp and will not take it. He's going to tank.

they will not boot her from the Party lol like I said before she can become a Republican if she wishes and no she will not get kicked out of the party. Remember something she is married to the only winner the Democrats ever had. However Bill's presidency belongs to him and if he changes parties the D in front of his name disappears and a R replaces it. Do you think the Dems want to look like they haven't won an election since 1976. That would look horrible in the history books. Like I said Hillary doesn't have to do anything. If they were forcing her to do this they would make her campaign for him but they won't and they can't and besides she is tougher then all those Damn Dems. She is not someone to be pitied either she is much to strong for that. She is not trapped in a party. She has options. We cannot waver in our support and our belief. We are Hillary's army and we need to follow our leaders orders take back the nomination, take back the party, and if we are unsucssful then take out Obama and the traitors in congress who endorsed Obama.

thats why this protest is so important. If they select the nominee and its not Hillary then they know that it will be bad for them. That is why the threat for Down ticket Dems are important. The DNC will be to nervous not to appoint her. That is also why its important for her to play the game. I think that she will be the President. I also do not think that we will be waiting for four years. We will be sucessful.

06-20-2008, 01:08 AM
No, that is the worst case....but if she's doing everything for Obama....
She is doing what the DNC, OBAMA are asking her to do right now, don't do that, there will be more pressure on her, and a more hostile media than we have seen. She must do this right now, why is anyone surprised by the call? I wasn't.
Believe me, with that call being recorded, Obama is listening for anything, any clues, anything in her voice that mgiht give us hope, tip her hand, and she can't do that. She's hoping we stay positive. What did people expect her to say on that call, that's she's joining McCain? She can't do that. She has to lay low, and shortly she's going to take a rest and be out of the public eye. There was not point in listening to the call, she didn't say anything differently than what I thought or expected her to say today.
Now Denver, that's a different story. There's two months between now and Denver, we can't go falling to pieces because Hillary said thanks, and has to tell us to support Obama and lie low right now. She knows that asking us to support OB will make us sick, she knows we won't vote for him, she's smart. Do you really think Hillary could like a guy that tretted her like he did, got away with what he did? Let's relax everyone; time will take care of it'self. Obama's going to have enough on his plate.

She may have made a deal that is good for her? I just do not think she is being pressured she looks way to relaxed for that. I tell you she is going to be fine. Hell she might be reading this forum or read it earlier. Now do you want her to think that you think she is a wimp. She is no wimp.
That is why she said what she said today.:DLOL.....:D:D
I just loved it when Keith is all rabid and foaming like having an epileptic seizure....the man is hilarious.....:D

:(awww, I know she is sad for us and she is sad for America.....she was sad when she was delivering her suspension speech...,.
Her voice sounded especially sad tonight. I look at that call as a call for money. Sadly, she needed to inject BO's name into the call.
The trolls believe she is sincere about supporting Obama...LOL...During the primary they called her a liar over and over again. Why do they believe her now?
I guess they believe whatever is convenient for them.

Please do not get mad. Will any of you guys be upset with Hillary if she campaigns hard for BO? I may lose respect for her after everything he has done to her and after everything she knows about him. Her country should be a priority, NOT her party!

Is there a transcript of the entire call? Someone earlier mentioned that Hillary said we (meaning her supporters, I believe) should stick together. This, IMO, is significant. She knows how we feel. She knows what we are doing. She knows we will keep doing it if we stick together.

Didn't she said she did win?
This is HUGE!!!!!! And that we need to stay united! Why do we need to stay united?
ON TO DENVER!!!!
the rest is in small print because is not important, and we forgot what it was about.

Same here... when "Party Loyalty" comes before actual principles then what was the point of the Party anyways?
I've been reading this site for quite awhile and joined the other day after seeing the thread requesting that guest readers please sign up... so I did :-) Visiting this site has been the only thing giving me hope.
If Hillary isn't the candidate, I'm either writing her in or voting McCain... there is no way I'll ever vote for that corrupt anti-American radical Obama.

Welcome to our forum Bethany. Yes we all feel that way. Today hearing Hillary's voice in the tele conference made me more determined to continue to blog, send emails to SD and not give up ever. Country first. We stick to the plan. Remember a right in could be a vote for BO and voting John McCain will make sure that BO is not elected.
PLAN A: DENVER/PUMA
PLAN B: MCCAIN
PLAN C: BO, NEVER,NEVER, NEVER.

Thank you for welcoming me to the site, I've felt like I was among family just reading the threads. I stopped going to my old site, didn't feel like home anymore... it didn't even feel like America anymore, scary :-(
You're right about the write-in vote for Hillary being risky, I guess I'm just wishful thinking about piping up my voice out there on election day. But I'm in PA and it could be a close race here.... I promise I'll be responsible, I agree with the BO NEVER, NEVER, NEVER wholeheartedly.
Thanks again for the warm welcome :-)

by suggesting her supporters vote for who they choose.
These news poeple and OB have some nerve getting all rabid over this comment. Last time I looked, this is still America and we SHOULD be voting as we choose. Have we lost that freedom too? what is next? In nov. they hand us a "pre-marked" ballot and demand we just drop it in the box?

Did Olbermann really say that??
Or were you just kidding??
"It's not what the DNC can do to her.
I admit, I would be disappointed if she really went all out for BO. The game of politics is dirty and as the saying goes "makes strange bed fellows". Still, I joined the party because I thought they supported equality, human rights, and civil rights for all people. I may be a little too idealistic, but I don't think it is unreasonable to expect that the party leaders will act with some fairness and decency. They did not. Possibly, if Hillary choses to really pull out all the stops in campaigning for BO, which I don't think she will do, it is to further a broader, more long range agenda. In some cases the end does justify the means, but I just believe the actions of BO and the DNC reflect a mindset and values with which I would not want Hillary to be associated.

I think that call was sad for her because she was talking to us. She is not being pressured because she knows her rights. I am telling you she is not stuck in that party and if she allows herself to bow to pressure then yes she is not the woman I supported and there will really be nothing left for me in the Democratic Party. I do not like punks and if she is being pressured then she would be a punk so I chose to think that she is fighting like I said she has never let me down before. I wish you guys would chill with the pressure crap we do not know that is what is going on and we need to see what happens. That pressure crap is really starting to make me think I backed the wrong candiate and the wrong party. I do not think she is being pressured. I wish I knew what was going on but I don't. I wish we could have seen her and if Bill Clinton is a man who is letting his wife be pressured then he IS NOT A MAN AND A BIG PUNK LIKE OBAMA. I still say Hillary is playing the game nothing else. Man I do not have any respect for rich people who are easilly pressured. God Damn it! I live in the frigging ghetto where shit is life and death and if I fell easilly to pressure I would be dead or in prison. If she is pressured then she is not my commander and chief she cannot be both. I know that she will resist the pressure if she doesnt she deserves what she got because she isnt willing to fight and that is not the Hillary Clinton I admire and I doubt that is who she is right now.

WE ARE MOVING THIS FORWARD TO DENVER ROLL CALL.... send money to HILLARY and monopoly money to BO and DNC!!!!!
this is the best, this is what i want to hear, take it to the convention, hillary can support bo all she wants, she has to if she wants her political career intact, but we do not
if we are 18 million strong who still want her, that speaks volumns, that speaks volumns of money if we each gave what we could, that translates into 18 million votes, lots of power there, we will be hillary's voice, what she cannot say we will, what she cannot do, we will
WE CAN SHOW THE MEDIA AND THOSE WHO SUPPORT HILLARY CLINTON THAT WE ARE TAKING THIS TO DENVER, WE WANT HER PUT UP FOR THE NOMINATION, WE WANT A ROLL CALL ON THE FLOOR, AND WE WILL NOT SUPPORT OR DONATE TO BARACK OBAMA
THIS IS WHAT WE WANT, NOW YOU HAVE TO ASK YOURSELVES, WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WANT
HILLARY IN DENVER, DRAFTED ON THE FLOOR OF THE CONVENTION AS THE NOMINEE FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY

The most important thing right now is to help retire that debt. Next, we stay together. We bring down the non-supporters. Those who don't uphold democracy. Those who made sexist remarks to defame HC/women in general. Those who barbed at the family to poke at HC. All well past 70*7 folks. The list has grown.
We address the debt first.

i wouldn't vote for a white racist, marxist, antiamerican terrorist supporter and i am not voting fro a black (well 6.5% black, 93.5% arab) racist, marxist, antiamerican terrorist supporter. i say no to hillary's request, no to dnc, and would even say no to jesus christ.
no obbammer not now not ever, the movement is growing, tell all your friends and family, they have been hoodwinked by the media and the dnc, i just convinced a family member at least not to vote for obbammer, get the truth about obbammer out.

I agree. The more Hillary's supporters can help her pay down that debt, the better. I just wish there was some way we could all get together in real life and raise a huge chunk of cash quickly.
It sounds like her first priority is paying off the vendors. Hmmm, would it be possible for us to get a list of those vendors and how much $$$ each one is owed? Then maybe someone who knows how to do such things could set up an Adopt A Vendor website with a money meter for each vendor? That way, donors would know specifically where their money is going. I think a lot of folks are scared off from giving $$ to Hillary because they believe Obama or the DNC will get their hands on it.

I believe that IF Hillary goes all out and campaigns for Obama, we will be hesitant to put more funds in to retire her debt.
We have already put more funds in than some of us could easily afford. Then if she goes on the campaign trail with this person we do not approve.........we have a right to withhold further financial support.
She has the right to do whatever she chooses. We have the right to withhold further financial support.
This Obama candidate is a "disaster waiting to happen" She should not help him attain office.
