This was a well thoughtout piece and I do sense the feeling of a kind
of betrayal that this person feels.
I hope that bloggers from Hillary's campaign will be inclined to be a
notch up on things and stick with all the positive things Hillary can do
for all of us and avoid be too critical. We may all feel critical ( I sure do) but
I'd rather the media do any of the negative stuff and we stick to the issues and the solutions that Hillary represents.

okay, i have just stopped to feel guilty for being happy about this and now that;) well but pity aside, i'm happy this obama supporter seems to see the light...hopefully he votes for hillary...and by the way: our friend pelosi should maybe read this...
but while i don't feel sorry for obama, i do feel sorry for his supporters, for which he is such an idol and now many of them will be disaffected...i know if such news came out about hillary, i'd be absolutely down...

Agreed. Ultimately, constant negativity is toxic and not helpful to anyone's cause. Focusing on the positives is a much stronger and more noble approach.
I heard that Hillary and her campaign staff refused to comment on churchgate today. She said she'll leave it up to the voters to decide. That was the extent of her comment. I hope it stays that way and that her staff remain quiet.
I think Hill can't risk doing anything that could be (mis)construed as unfair, especially while the Obamatons are still in denial. She just needs to hold onto her center and remain mum on the issue, talk up her programs, thrash Hobama in the remaining states, and glide (meaning unscathed by any semblance of unfairness) the rest of the way into an uncontested nomination.
The rest of us, along with the Right wing and the Obamatons who are waking from their comas, can keep the issue alive.
And for what it's worth, didn't Edwards just ask to keep his delegates? I can't remember where I saw this headline, and I'm wondering if that actually bodes well for Hillary. Anyone know more about this story or have a take on the implication of the headline?

I have read the many comments posted there. there are still supporters who think that he will be able to steer through this storm and become POTUS.
This episode will prove his character as a fighter.

wow. here's one bho supporter who's more intellectually honest than his/her candidate. i can't feel sympathy for bho or his camp, sorry, but i do feel a little sorry for his supporters who eventually may get disillusioned with him as the real bho gets unravelled.

How blind and indoctrinated can you be to believe that Obama in the 20 year church going he never heard about his pastor's radical comments, or he never found out what is going on behind him in that church. The big cospiracy. The Pastor and the followers conspired together to keep any comments secret from O bama and his family. It looks that they did a good job. But considering Michelles views about Amarica and how patriotic she is and Obama's refusal to wear the flag lapel on his jacket I feel that they did have been a little infected from the air in the church.
COME ON GUYS WAKE UP AND SMELL THE BS!!

Obama has the momentum but...
The momentum has clearly shifted towards Obama in the last couple of weeks. Some are already writing off Hillary Clinton's chances as the charismatic and younger Barack Obama has won 8 consecutive primaries and stands poised to win Wisconsin on Feb 19th. No astrology needed to predict that outcome! As I see it, however, the astrological picture is rapidly dimming on Obama. This week upcoming will represent the high point of his popularity, and look for the days around the 22nd to be especially good. After that, things will begin to slide. As mentioned previously, the March 4 Texas and Ohio primaries will probably go to Hillary and Obama's chart shows significant stress and unhappiness in the period of March 8-12. This configuration involves a major affliction of Venus and strongly suggests that his difficulties will stem from issues beyond simply bad vote results. This seems like it may be a stressful distraction involving women in some way, and with the influence of P4 Mars station on March 8th (!), we cannot rule out some kind of injury, coercion, threat or other expression of martian symbolism. It is very possible these configurations may be pointing to fallout from his ongoing financial relationship with corrupt Democrat operator Tony Rezko as Rezko's trial for fraud and extortion gets underway on March 3. I think the events of these first two weeks of March will change the whole complexion of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Hillary's campaign will get a huge boost from the P3 Venus station that occurs March 6th, just in time to give Hillary wins in Texas and Ohio. What gives these progressions stations extra strength is that she is running the Venus dasha. That kind of parallelism across astrological systems enhances the power of both and our confidence in predicting what will flow from this pattern. I am expecting that Obama will concede defeat in May or by mid-June at the latest when Saturn stations square to his Moon. It's worth noting that his wife, Michelle Obama, has her Venus at 7 Aq and she was also feel the full force of that Saturn station by opposition aspect. This is another sign that Obama will lose this historic political battle at that time.

When we are past the Kool-Aid high...
.. it is a sad and draining feeling with lots of confused emotions.
The best anti-dote is LEARNING.
Here are the best starting points:
1) Did I really know this person or was I going by media?
www.thehillaryiknow.com -- There are 40+mom's REFERENCES. Their words. Campaign is recording.. but you get 40 solid references for this candidate.
2) Do I know her platform.. her plans and policies.
www.hillaryclinton.com/issues -- read and you will understand why the references in (1) actually make sense!
3) Veterans endorsing her. What are they saying.
http://flags4hill.com -- you will understand this when you see that Hillary has solid actual experience in the international setting... she is tough, she is resilient.. and she is kind.. she has the genuineless needed in a true leader.
I think this will give you a sense of what Hillary offers that has not been digest well... nor communicated well by the media.
I actually suggest to people to look at their emotions closely. You may feel a major depression (I did in late Jan/early Feb) and a sense of loss, anger, denial, wanting the old leader back but knowing it is too far gone... youo know the same kind of emotions as in loosing something very important to you. (relationship/job/friend).
When I saw (1) and (2) above, I was convinced... I did this in one day. I didnt know Hillary well enough (even though I had read everything she had written, heard her CD's.. follower her news items, etc -- it is quite different hearing from those who knew her first hand. Her plans are BRILLIANT, COMPREHENSIVE, COHESIVE and REALISTIC. They consider the puts and the takes needed to bring them to fruition.. something that someone who is going to hold herself ACCOUNTABLE would be careful to do. The veterans endorsement in (3) is something that I came across much later.. and when I saw it I was touched.. and I cried for loosing a year of time when I could have helped Hillary more.
So, hurry, visit www.thehillaryiknow.com and www.hillaryclinton.com/issues
We have a real leader to elect!!!! Thanks.
You are welcome here.. and by the way SOME (and not all) of us have been there. It is ok.. and we understand the pain of disillusionment.. but we have a good cause ahead of us.

John Edwards held the delegates so he would have a platform at the National Convention. This could be his ticket for the Whitehouse as VP or some other spot in the elected administration and rumor has it he wanted to endorse someone but the DNC told him to hold off, this was before super tuesday 2

Hahaha....but seriously! The only news worthy bit of information I've ever seen on Edwards was about his haircut.
He does seem like a dandy. Not so sure I'd like such a vain man.

Yeah, Edwards was funny. He had good hair though. hehe
Now he's holding on to his delegates so he can come back for another beauty show on TV.

The solution is simple: 1) Don't feel bad about your error in judgment; 2) Confront what has made you question your candidate; 3) Get as far away from Obama's fatally flawed and toxic candidacy as you can; 4) Support Hillary; 5) Rejoice that you have made a painful decision but successfully faced your dilemma and 6) Join the rest of us in preparing to fight against McCain with the best candidate in the history of the race for the White House. GO HILLARY!!!!!!!
hehe, if we have the universe on our side:D;)
Yay! A kindred spirit! I give you props for posting this. I was afraid to do so, thinking I've probably unintentionally freaked people out enough.:o Still, when you look beyond the horoscopes posted in the newspapers and study it in depth, it's pretty uncanny how often astrology is right on the mark!:D
P.S. Oops...I meant to direct the astro-kindred-spirit remark to Lanney...doh!
I don't know much about Edwards except that he has a very expensive hairdresser lol
My guess about that is that he has probably had some sort of hair replacement done. I have a good friend who's been doing that for a while now, and it's costly. If Edwards is doing the same thing, I doubt he wants to advertise it and is probably why he lets people go on about a $400 haircut.
Which is none of their business, considering that he does much to help the poor and the people of New Orleans. More than the nothing Barack has ever done! God, I wish the media would allow people to maintain their dignity, already! Sheesh!

Mainstream Media are like gossip mags nowadays :(
I think alot of people are just delusional. They thought Obama was the solution because he had a clean record (b4 the heretic and the rezko). I mean duh...
No one bothered to check up on him before...of course he appears clean.

i can feel the pain of this person's post. he is being honest and to be commended. this is what makes me the angriest about obama, about his selfishness leading these people down a primrose path.
i'm glad it happened now and it will make all of us wiser. i hope it does not disenfranchise some people forever.
i know our Gal Hill will be a great healer on this.
it will not come down to superdelegates. as this controversy wears on Obama will have to step down for the good of the party and the country.
finally he is being "vetted." and this makes the press look really bad as well. there will be a lot of heads rolling after this whole mess is over.

I read the post in the link at top of thread and then continued to read others. I was truly amazed at the degree of candor I was reading. I guess the Obama fans only get nasty and radical n public forums but there were genuinely a lot of "second guessers" writing and sharing their doubts in their own candidate. (Bionicsoy is still delusional however) They seem to acknowledge that Hillary will take the high road regarding Wright but wonder how Obama will ever stand up to Republican scrutiny. I think the country is beginning to wonder as well.

This is from an O supporter...Does her thought reflecting a buyer remose????
To JAA:
Firstly - I was an Obama supporter at one time early in this presidential race. Although my views are more in line with Kucinich's, I felt that he was not electable (because he is just as liberal as I am). My main concern was getting someone into office who wasn't another war and fear monger.
Secondly - Most people (especially politicians) have had some sort of involvement with some controversial characters. However, the relationship between Obama and Wright is not some casual, business, or otherwise inconsequential involvement. Question: What does a mentor mean to a protégé? Does a mentor not help shape the views and judgments of his charge? Webster's defines a mentor as "A wise and trusted counselor or teacher". I don't subscribe to Wright's point of view, so how could I support his protégé? Obama now says that he never heard any of these disparaging comments while in church or in conference with his spiritual advisor. How could one be a member of a congregation for 17 plus years and not know what the preacher was saying? Obama graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law and wants us to believe that he was unaware of the views of his teacher and guide. That seems highly unlikely.
Thirdly - Would you attend a church for 17 years if you didn't agree with its positions? Would you go to a church for that long with no idea of its views? I hope that you wouldn't - anyone that did would either have to be a glutton for punishment or some kind of moron.
Lastly - Who is this "we" that you speak of? It's all rather mysterious. I don't think we need to ask who you are supporting. We feel for Obama. He made some poor decisions – haven’t we all? But we’re not running for president.
