Is it just me or has www.hillaryclinton.com become a little lackluster lately? There used to be TONS of new posts on the blogs (I do know they have had some blog trouble) A lot of supporters have given up posting there as about 75% of the time, they never get posted. Also, whatever they do, I hope someone in the campaign is reading some of the supporter's posts? LOTS of great ad/campaign/media ideas. And from all I have read, supporters like having a money "goal" to meet and apparently REALLY like the "Counter" or "Tote Board" or whatever you want to call it. I know an awful lot of us have come to this site because of our frustrations with the official site. Those of us supporting Hillary really like to post our views, chat with other supporters and contribute both ideas and money! I sometimes feel as if her (Hillary's") campaign crew is a little out of touch with the actual supporter's wishes and our out-and-out enthusiasm! I check the official website a couple of times a day and a lot of the time, nothing new has been added. I just miss the enthusiasm that was apparent at the official site prior to the Mississippi Primary.

You raise some valid points. And it was part of the reason why I set up this forum. To capitalize on the enthusiasm which I knew was out there, but which wasn't necessarily been harnessed to the max!

My being here is a direct result of having my comments on the "official" site rejected. I'd put my heart into some of them and they did not post my comments. It made me feel as if my comments weren't good enough.

Murray, I have read a few things lately about problems with Hillar's crew. Maybe they are a little out of touch? Okay...since everyone is digging on the "flower" thing, here's mine. I raise Orchids.

The flowers are soothing. We need some soothing both in here in the forum and "out there" in the big wide world!!

I can understand that disappointment. The same thing has happened to me at various news websites. That's why I started keeping a copy of my submissions and pasting them in this forum because I knew they would get published here!

The only comments that get deleted from this forum are those that contain offensive language or content - and thankfully there are very few of these. Other than that, all of your ideas and thoughts can be expressed freely and often. And they appear instantly!

I think it's important to clarify that the operation of Hillary's website is outsourced to a company so they will probably not always been sensitive to the needs/hopes of supporters. Sure, the campaign must accept ultimately responsibility for those they contract to, but it's a difficult issue. And the infection of the Action Center blog system with anti-Hillary, pro-Obama propaganda obviously led to the implentation of some harsher moderation/publication rules with regards to comments submitted.

Our Hillary is working so hard to win this election. I think that with all that is in the press these days, working to win the next primaries and living in the bubble that comes with the territory she is busy and so is everyone else. She sent us that email this morning about how we are her inspiration. She never forgets about us. She is probably trying to deal with all the request she's now getting from that traitor known as the mass media. Suddenly she is the only rational candidate in this madness. Keep the faith and enjoy the ride, because it is long overdue.

Yes, I am missing the folks there and realize some of you are one in the same really appreciate the info we share along with our intention in doing so positively especially for HILLARY... and then stating the obvious that the bias news opinionist shows (I refuse to call them news shows or journalists) seem to be up to on a daily basis -today being no exception ... how littel we hear about BO and the PASTOR... we know Hillary would have been asked to resign by everyone... instead we actually hear that Pelosi is suggesting her BIAS in the face of this insidious BIG PROBLEM regarding the fact that BO will NEVER WIN with McC now and that is the end of it... and someone better enlighten the DEMS accordingly that the game plan they were working out (the one they forgot to let Hillary in on until she needed them and they were gone) is NOT GOING TO WORK... well, I digress... anyway... yeah, really not understanding how come NO ONE is responding well at the website and believe me I write under "contact us" a lot... for a whole week we asked for a counter... for some reason it makes us work harder to give her the money and there is still no counter... Murray any other way to contact them and ask what's up? There are a lot of folks wanting to go toPA and NC and the like and want to work it together and there was a struggle to get that going...

thanks glad you are here....

I've been smelling a rat in Live World ever since the blogs went down before Ohio and Texas.

I called them, Carla called them as well, and I have yet to hear back from them.

I also emailed them.

I also let the HRC Campaign know as well.

I definitely think there's a rat out there. I mean we can't even get a blog comment up on ANY site.

Is this asking too much? I wish it were me I would be there in a flash, however it is simply not me... I am happy to do what I can on the internet however a whole web thingamigig is more than my capabitlites... maybe if there is someone that could offer that service or more than one it would be helpful and POSSIBLY MORE EFFECTIVE FOR HILLARY'S 85% SUCESS IN PA, NC AND ALL THE REST AS WELL... WE WANT HILLARY TO WIN TO ABSOLUTELY SILENCE THE DEMS THAT ARE IN SHOCK NOW (except Pelosi who obviously hasn't read the newspaper last night and today) so she becomes the NOMINEE no questions asked and then PRESIDENT... it would be nice to get this website thing up and going better at hillaryclinton.com before the primaries are over and well before she is the democratice nominee... what do you think?:)

The night before the election in TX, OH, RH thousands of people across the USA weren lighting candles and saying a little prayer for Hillary. That was all organized via the hillaryclinton.com blog. There was a money meter. There was enthusiasm.
I am convinced it put the energy into place for her to win those states.
It is valuable and I hope she will hire a different company soon.
I have to say, whatever Hillary is paying this company, it is tooooo much.
It is obvious that this Company does not care and does not have a vested interest in Hillary winning the nomination.

The official website certainly could be more vibrant. I'm not sure who controls the site, but there's very little means of "interacting" with the campaign. Little things like that really matter, particularly when folks are being asked to donate money that, for many, they really cannot afford to donate. Not to be negative towards Hillary, but the official site reflects a lost opportunity to make people feel a part of the campaign. Instead, you blog, and your blogs rarely are posted. The HUBDate also has gotten a little thin recently. I suspect that it may be that everyone in the campaign HQ is a little tired - it has been a hectic pace since the beginning of primary season, but now with a few weeks off, maybe folks can rest and get the second wind.

Live World is running the site. They will not return calls or emails. I think that the Campaign is so focused on the Primaries that they've forgotten what a help the site is. Not everyone is just looking to buy gear or read from a Press Statement.

I'll email them again at HRC HQ and see if they can't just hire someone to run it. For God's Sake, look how many people over here are Computer Literate. I am not including myself in that category as it took me 3 days to see the whole PM thing:)

We just keep trying to spread the word about the forum as best we can.

I email suggestions to tips@hillaryclinton.com but if you call the Arlington HQ, you may get a voice and can speak to someone about it in person.

I'm an active online member of Hillary's facebook website. It is true 4 a while Obamaniac fans were dominating the wall which pushed a lot of us off our own website. But I remained along with others to reclaim the wall & we do have good debates with anti Hillary supporters which makes our wall more intersting rather than cultish as we have differing views amoungst each other as well as the Obama, Republican & Independent supporters. It depends what time of day you go on whether there is active conversation (I'm usually on during the midnight hours in UK to join the discussion in the evening with Americans). I joined this forum aswell & shared my 1st post that I had discussed often on Hillary's facebook wall. Make sure you share your thoughts on Hillary's facebook wall as well as here so that undecided young voters can see your inteligent & open minded issue based discussion, or your poitive optomistic enthusatic support for Hillary rather than against Obama, so that people will join our movement.

Okay, I guess it's finally time to make a pilgrimage to Facebook. Do you really have respectful debates with the other side? Because I just couldn't take the nastiness of the people who trolled over at the blog community. Darn them -- I miss that community and the enthusiasm which made us feel part of her team!!! Thank goodness for THIS site!!! Thank you, Murray!!

I called HRC's campaign office in Virginia the day of the OH primary to ask what happened. A woman told me the site was temporarily down for maintenance.

This is the longest downtime for maintenance I've ever encountered for a web site!!! :p

Clearly this Live Wire company needs to step it up a notch.

I have pretty good luck getting my omments on HillaryClinton.com. I humbly offer the following suggestions: 1. pick a short, clever, title that's relevant to the post, 2. Write a short, but powerful paragraph that offers a personal connection or story to why the post is relevant to your life. I too have been frustrated with how sluggish it seems to have gotten lately. I wonder what the reason is?

Don't think that! For the most part, I believe it's just selective posting. I comment on Fox all the time, but so far, only 2 have gotten through. The tone and content were pretty similar, so I doubt those that didn't make it through were deleted because of content.

Mind you, that site has easily millions of hits a day, it is quite difficult to post everything. Further, anything that can be miscontrued will probably be taken out.

If you believe you have a good idea, you should send it to tips@hillaryclinton.com instead of posting it. Hopefully, that has something better than a trained monkey manning it...though I'll keep my fingers crossed hahaha...

My company's suggestion box/emails are "read" by badly paid bored and under motivated parttime college student. I'm pretty sure his eyes are closed most of the time!

I too am frustrated by the slow information cycles on the office Hillary site. I have had many posts posted, but they seem to accept only the positive, and rarely any negative posts. I have submitted two posts at the same time, and I can usually get one on by the way I post. As previously posted, a catchy title, a short paragraph, with a positive message. The administrators of the site are probably prohibited from putting anything controversial by bloggers, MSM I am sure checks the blogs frequestly for trash. Therefore, nothing gets on that might give the MSM fodder to flip.

Yes, there is a little generation gap re: technology and organizing. But we need to communicate that it's recoverable.

I feel the sincerely interactive online groups have so much potential. People want to be involved. Not just handed things.

And for as tech-savvy as they claim, it reflects poorly on their side that several invaded the site and started spaming.

young kids do not know more about the workings of the internet(s) than others. who runs the IT part of campaigns? young kids make good worker bees. they suck at running most anything.

the grassroots thing is a myth. it as an organized by insiders as any other movement. appearances are not reality.

small donors? another myth. people are being suckered into giving $100 here and $100 dollars there on their debit and credit cards. the gift that keeps on giving until they go into debt.

It's like the bs that Obama's events are soooo multicultural and diverse, implying nobody else's are.

----

Team Hillary was disserved by the same types who did in Kerry and Gore. The Democrats have got to stop hiring advisors who think about themselves and their biz image as much as they do the candidates they are supposed to be working for.

Obama's camp took nothing for granted and went after every single vote and went after the early caucus voters with a vengeance. They played the Trippi game of allowing people like us here to imagine it is a bottom up system with input that is always valued.

Obama has done well because he has a good package. We are a consumer society used to believing the empty message and package equal substance.

I prefer a results driven model and that is a harder sell.

I used to enjoy going on Hillary's site - I especially loved it when everyone got enthusiastic about lighting candles and all, (in fact, I took the lighting candles thing literally and used to light my own candles at my house until I saw a link for the website!) but lately it has been one big bore! I went on there this morning to see if there was any news about the Elton John concert, but there was nothing - NOTHING, can you believe it? A huge event like that - apparently brought in $2.5 million and NOTHING! THANK YOU ALL for being here - I do really appreciate you all for giving me an opportunity to read, learn, laugh and sometimes cry a little. I have submitted numerous posts over there and only had about 3 really insignificant ones posted. I have written to Hillary and sent tips to Hillary, but nothing! However, I do get a thank you when I contribute! Thanks for letting me be here and for being here for me and all Hillary fans everywhere! ENJOY THE PROTEST TOMORROW - I'm so jealous that I can't go!

I am baffled at the apathy on that site. Not by the supporters but whoever is in charge of it. The site was busy and a good place to gather until right before Ohio/Texas. That's when the trouble started. The NObamabots were successful in driving us away, weren't they? Geez.

But thank goodness Murray put up this site in the nick of time.

It's sad that her official site is more like a ghost town over there now, but I guess they have more important things to do right now and I'm all for pouring their energies into winning big in PA, etc.

I used to go to the Hillary site all day every day. But the amount of time it took to get a message posted if it went at all was ridiculous. I was sooooo happy to find this forum. I have actually come to the realization that I am addicted to this site. It's the first thing I do when I wake up and the first thing I do when I get home from work. And it's the last thing I do before I go to bed. So far, I am resisting the urge to wake up in the middle of the night to check but it can't be ruled out yet. I don't know what I am going to do once this election is over. But thanks to all my fellow supporters here. At least I don't drive my family crazy anymore with all my rants at the news and non-stop Hillary talk. :)
