"He suggested that the reason women don't have equal pay isn't discrimination on the job — it's because they need more education and training," Obama said, eliciting groans from the audience. Obama said the problem is some employers aren't paying women enough and many women aren't able to challenge that. "The solution is to finally close that gap and pay women what they've earned, nothing less."

Obama makes sexist statements when he is trying to gain points for his lofty anti-sexism for women voters. Well, Obama does not realize that women like my mother trained men on the job so that men could rise above them and that women like me graduated cum laude so that I could be hired at lower pay than males who did not graduate high school in my old IT department.

Some women get Ph.D.s to finally compete to only be told that now they are too educated. Obama is clueless and reckless.

Obama has some real balls - marbles. And, they bouncing loosely in his head.
Can no one shake sense out of him? Hillary? Hillary? Hillary? Does Obama need Mother Hens to peck him into mental order?

Someone give the man a gun so he can shoot himself in the foot!

Insert foot into mouth...

Does he actually have a functioning brain in that head of his. I know he says he went to Havard and all but everytime he talks he sounds insane.

Women need more education and training... is he serious does he realize how much of an education we all ready recieve? So I'm going to have to become a damn computer before I can get a job is that the deal here?

I can only imagine the thought going through Hillary's head as she sat there listening to this idiot.

Why they chose him over her I will never understand... oh wait I know, she needs more of an education before she can get the job!:mad:

What about the fact that Hillary has the same education like he did but has better accomplishments and experiance, but he was choosen for the job instead of her. Every time he opens his moth I find my self saying Harvard My ASS. I don't know what is it about him that makes us thinking about ASS a lot.

Is that why he pays the women on his staff less? Hypocrite, I cant even stomach the outright lies that come out of that mans mouth. I guess we know why "change" had to be his motto for this campaign because his views "CHANGE" depend on who he is talking too... I dont consider that change that called two-faced and we dont know who this man really is.

And, this is the man who pays female staffers less than male staffers. Who continues to refer to females as "sweetie." He is so full of it. Women need more training and education???!!!!! He is really out of it.

More training and education.... I work at an office with 90 percent women. Maybe we are all to stupid?
I expeced nothing else from that "sweetie" and "likable enough"-man...

Obama is part of the oppression of women in our society. Here he had the real opportunity to achieve and be apart of what Hillary was talking about
improving the goals for our country, and for the whole world. He's really not
concerned about relating to women at work, on the campus, or women in the home. There will be no change, just more "Untrust" in Obama. He will not eliminate problems for women and their families, because he doesn't have the leadership abilities in this new era of the 21st century.

It makes me sick inside to do this but I am going to have to defend Obama here (and as soon as I do I am going to go take a long shower and wash it off of me). Obama was stating that John McCain said women need more education and training. Obama himself did not say that. He was making a reference to something he thinks McCain said. The way the article was written however implies Obama said it.

Now, I do not know if McCain said that or not. I will have to do some research to see if he did and if so what the comment was in reference to or if Obama was doing the "sound byte" thing and making it much worse than it was.

I can't believe I just had to defend Obama.:eek::eek: But, I am not afraid to point out something is wrong if it truly is and in this case the assumption that Obama made such a dumb ass remark truly is wrong. He did not.

He could have been making an example of his model moral stance that he has the audacity to proclaim authority over.

I can only imagine the thought going through Hillary's head as she sat there listening to this idiot.

Here's the shocking part of the story. Here are a couple quotes from 'the thoughts going through Hillary's head':

".....But anyone who voted for me has so much in common with those who voted for Barack...."

As she wrapped up her remarks and began to introduce Obama, Clinton said, "this is the man -- this is the one -- we should be voting for. ... Do it for your children. Do it for your jobs. Do it for the education of future generations."

And, then she started the chant "Yes we can", as the whole room joined in.

I just recently put my Hillary signs back on my lawn and car and I've been wearing my pins and t-shirt and I'm hosting a Hillary party at my home on July 19th.......but, I'm now wondering by supporting Hillary, do I look like I have A LOT IN COMMOM WITH OBAMA SUPPORTERS?

DOES HILLARY REALLY HAVE TO BE ENDORSING OBAMA?
DOES HILLARY REALLY WANT US TO VOTE FOR OBAMA?
DOES HILLARY REALLY NEVER WANT TO BE OUR PRESIDENT?
DOES HILLARY WANT TO BE THE FIRST FEMALE VP?

I KNOW ONE ANSWER TO A QUESTION: WILL I EVER VOTE FOR OBAMA?

NO, MY FAMILY AND I WILL BE VOTING FOR McCAIN!

He's referring to MCCain's statement regarding his "no" vote on the Lily Ledbetter equal pay Act. McCain said women weren't entitled to recovery of pay after discriminatory inequities are found and that instead they should seek more education and training.

Obama was drawing a distinction between his position, "yes" and McCain's "no".

The groans were for McCain.
Yes, we should do research to see if Mac really did say that.

OTOH, Mac blew it by voting "no" on Lily.

And OTOH, it doesn't change the fact that BO is an entirely unacceptable, prevaricating, pandering, unscrupulous miscreant.

Actually, McCain did not vote "no" on this. He was not there for the vote that day. I am checking the accuracy of the report as to the other stuff, i.e., if McCain actually said that. And if he did, oh my - he's going to have to recant on that statement!!!!! If BO can do it, so can McCain, right?

Yep, we certainly are. But it is true - McCain was not there that day and in fact it was reported by some media as he "didn't bother to show" for the vote. What a bunch of morons!!! Of course, we always knew that.

I'm tied up right now but am going to check to see exactly what McCain said. As I mentioned previously, if Obama can side-step and back-step on issues, McCain certainly can "clarify" his comment on this if necessary.

I am not about to defend Obama about anything, but in the article it sounds like he was referring to McCain's views and not his own.

However, it is true that Obama has fewer women in higher paying roles in his Senate office than McCain has.
