Obama used them (the Left) to crush the Clintons, but now the left is finally realizing it's been betrayed, on issue after issue, with Obama changing his positions in order to defeat a tired and disillusioned Republican Party in November.
They're at the dance now and he's the one with the keys and he's the only ride they've got. And they don't like it.
He has flip-flopped again and again, on campaign finance, on government eavesdropping of overseas phone calls, on gun control and even Iraq. Future President Obama now says he'll listen to his generals about when to withdraw. He didn't say he'd listen to the commissars of the blogosphere.
And his cheerleaders are beginning to realize that Obama may not be the Arthurian knight in shining armor, that he may not be Mr. Tumnus, the gentle forest faun of our presidential politics. Months after his inauguration, after he makes Billy Daley the secretary of the treasury and Michael Daley the secretary of zoning and promotes Patrick Fitzgerald to become the attorney general of Mars, the political left may figure out that Obama is a Chicago politician.

Obama did use them and then claimed that "they weren't listening". Actually they weren't listening and were used and duped.
The Clinton's are actually progressive, especially Hillary Clinton more so than Bill .
The Clinton's have a broad base of appeal . As a liberal myself, I am satisfied. I can't get everything I want, but I do believe Hillary Clinton will get something done, rather than just talking about it then changing her mind.

It's past time they put down the kool-aid glass - BHO is the wrong messenger for their message, since he's not sincere at all, and he's just using his cult as a stepping stone to the presidency. All politicans may do that, but there is usually some concern behind it. Not with him - the left have been his useful idiots in the Karl Marx tradition.

Let's hope they listened, and made their decision. Let them show it in Denver, they do have a choice.

This is great statement:) There is still a choice to make this happen. The choice is Hillary and I hope they come to realize this.

All the disillusioned Obama supporters DO have a choice and some may take it - Nader or Cynthia McKinney. I would not rule out that possibility.
Some Hillary supporters are saying that they will vote for McCain because they could NEVER vote for Obama.

It all boils down to: UNELECTABLE UNELECTABLE UNELECTABLE
These Obama people were/are even more naive than I was when I hit the hard wall of 'POLITICAL REALITY".
It is exactly like the old saying...if is sounds to good to be true,...it's gotta be Obama! HAHAHAHAHAHA
All this boohooing from the left really does crack me up. No Santa CLaus, No Easter Bunny, No Toothfairy, and No Messiah. What a pack of cry babies they have turned out to be.

I certainly don't like to be highly critical about our presumed Dem nominee at this stage of the game. But what choice do I have? I can't tell you how many people I've spoken with who have said that, while they'll still probably vote for Obama, at this point they don't intend to volunteer for his campaign or donate any more money. What a lost opportunity for Obama and for progress. What did it gain him to vote with all of the Party's most Republican-lite Senators -- and on the opposite side of the Party's most popular and respected Senators -- on FISA? Absolutely nothing except distain from those who understand what was at stake in the battle.

I posted this link in another thread but it seems to fit here as well. The Democracy for NM website has been highly pro BHO. I was amazed to see even this chink in their ardent pro BHO armor!

Used, abused and no place to go. Someone must have finally watered down the Kool-Aid. Couldn't they figure out that he's just another politician out to get their vote and he will do anything - anything - to get it? But . . . . it's not a done deal. Either he doesn't get the nomination in August or he doesn't get the presidency in November. And the disillusioned masses who didn't bother to vet their candidate can undo the harm they've done. Hillary then McCain. Hillary is the best, but either one is a gizillion times better than BO.
