Well, this is a first.

Peter Daou is Clinton's Internet director. I just found out that he has sent out an email to a group of bloggers with a challenge: "I challenge my online friends to call this "full assault" on Hillary's character for what it is."

I got a copy of the email he sent out so I'm going to post it in its entirety. The subject title reads as follows: Barack Obama's "Full Assault" On Hillary Clinton

I read today that Obama is getting ready to launch a full assault on Clinton's character. So it looks like the Clinton campaign is gearing up for battle.

Hi Jayling, for those of us with slow dialup connections (downloads take hrs.) can you give a summary of the call and what exactly was the challenge. I would think part of it is to keep Rev. Wright/Rezko in the light & not let Obama change focus. So if you don't mind a summary please (of the conference call).

This "full assault" is targeting a staff of hundreds of hard-working, dedicated Democrats, who I've had the privilege of working with for the past 14 months...

...Hillary has rightfully stated that as Democrats we should be proud of our field of candidates. And it is truly inspiring to see the level of enthusiasm among voters this cycle. We should encourage as many people as possible to become part of this process and to forcefully advocate for their candidate of choice. But there is a sharp line between supporting a candidate (and excusing their faults, which all supporters do to some degree) and conducting a "full assault" on an opponent's integrity and character. The Obama campaign's unabashed attacks on Hillary's honesty and trustworthiness should give every Democrat pause.

We are all entitled to support and oppose whomever we choose, but I challenge my online friends to call this "full assault" on Hillary's character for what it is.

A rebuttal would lead to the truth.

They aren't targetting diehard Obamanites, they're targetting the non-delusional obama supporters, the undecided and independents.

I reckon it's also a dare for them to dig dirt up on her. When they start digging, they'll uncover the truth and because it wasn't shoved in their face, might cause them to sit back and reconsider.

Forgive my lack of eloquence, but I was until recently, a former WoW player and I'm afraid the 2 years of playing an mmorpg has stunted my vocabulary as well as my ability to form long sentences :p

All in all, if it takes off, it's gonna be massive because those 5 weeks till PA will be filled with discussions and fact findings on Hillary.

Seriously, I'm beginning to wonder if she's had it planned all this while :D

Of course Hillary herself can't address these issues because the MEDIA has prevented her from even attempting to defend herself from bogus attacks
from BO because no matter what she does they use it against her.

So WE have to be the ones to get the truth out so the American people can elect based on the facts!!!

I think the fantastic "Attack Timeline" provided by the ever resouceful Jayling is an excellent place to start. The list is fantastic and should be pasted everywhere repeatedly!!!!!!!

BUT, I also think breaking the list into significant, dramatically presented bites can have incredible impact.

Identify really egregious and damaging examples and briefly refute with evidence from debates, newscasts, videos, newspapers, congressional record, etc. We should especially expose:

1. the obvious lies coming directly from BO's MOUTH
2. lies coming from immediate surrogates.
3. from supporters
4.SLURS, racial, sexist, personal from all of the above!!!!!!!!!!

Then, BLANKET the blog boards, media and you tube with the evidence.

I know I've seen excellent lists of sites and media outlets in a variety of postings on this site. Lets put that list, along with the Attack Timeline at the top of the Forum so everyone has access to it and can use it for mass saturation.

In the case of a lie, it is most important to emphasize that the VOTERS are being decieved.

In the case of sexist, racist, personal slurs against Hillary or supporters, emphasize the attack.

Some sample titles, just insert the culprits name where appropriate, ie Obama, media, advisor, surrogate, insider, etc:

An attack like this makes something very clear...that they have to attack her personality because they don't have facts to throw at her. Let them - I'm confident that undecided voters are smart enough to ask themselves "but what's that got to do with her plan"? Watch the this whole blitzkrieg implode before it actually happens.

Makes sense now - the list of "anti-Hillary" statements Taylor lists are the exact same ones we see from Obama supporters across all websites. They have obviously been "instructed" on what things to say about Hillary to "attack" her. Sad. They are so desperate and low. How dare Obama present himself as the candidate who is above "dirty politics" when he is swimming in the mud in a major way!

It is critical that we get this information out there because the media, the source of info for most voters, is promoting the deception. Remember, Mark Penn is a pollster, but David Axelrod is an ADMAN!

Millions of serious, sincere, mature, intelligent voters have been misled by the onslaught. We all know some of them.

This is the target audience for the truth. Fanatics won't be swayed by reason but many serious women, men, and people from the AA community will!
