Another great analysis which attempts to more critically analyse the effect and impact that Obama is having on the masses...

I share your anxiety. This is what motivated me to start this forum. As I witnessed the brainwashing take place I felt the need to do something, to bring together those who can see what's really going on here. Strength in numbers. We cannot sit by and allow Hillary's exceptional talents be demonized, diminished and displaced.

absolutely...it is becoming like a cult....that is so dangerous - people plugging in and the media pulling IT. It is totally overshadowing the reasons why the candidates are campaigning in the first instance. Why is there a significant amount of the population willing to gamble their lives on someone -or arguably something - which has presented no concrete evidence that his policies advocated supersede those of Mrs. H-R-Clinton. It is time for the media to wake up and champion someone else for a change - rather than riding the wave of popularity. Freedom of Press is constitutionally protected and so it should be - but responsible press is what ever journalist would want to be used to define their employment status. Before all this hype started, they were being - allowing each candidate to voice their reasons, their policies, their strengths and their abilities. Now, however judgement is being clouded because the hype has taken over. And the one's who suffer are those who have no choice but to breath in, digest and then live the supposed reality the media presents. Which is not reality at all - if only it was.

I think the newly developed obsession with Obama is a direct reflection of popular culture at this point in time - we are living in the era of myspace, youtube, americal idol, reality TV, paparazzi, obsession with celebrities, quick fixes...blah blah blah...Obama is the celebrity candidate, the trendy choice with all the glitz and glamor that goes with it. But when the initial love affair with Obama ends, will his popularity be sustained? Or will he just become the latest victim of celebrity culture and discarded when the public moves on to the next fad?
