View Full Version : This is a Very Important Time

There is two weeks before the convention. Everything that happens now is crucial. Hillary has never been a quitter and she has not quit now. If she had, she would have released her delegates long before now. She has not. Hillary reads the news, so does Obama. They know what's going on; they know what's at stake. And Obama had abused, lied, cheated, used trickery, the element of surprise, he even had a mole - Patti Doyle planted in the Hillary camp. Expect anything. The Obama camp will try and ever so casually, subtly try to ask us to support Obama. The news will be all over the place; there will be truth reported, there will be lies reported. You may see one or two posters here and other websites, change their stance, in order to get us to vote for Obama. This is a very crucial time. We must continue to fight for Hillary, we must show that Hillary is the stronger leader, by demonstrating that Obama cannot beat McCain, or lead the country well. Obama has avoided debate, lied about much in his campaign, but this he knows, his actions have been such that, he used deception, he lied, bullied, oppressed the people, cheated to get what he wanted and he must know - that there is always a consequence for every action. If we say nothing, if we accept the status quo - we are just as guilty of allowing abuse. There is a very respectful way to show we don't accept abuse, or abuse. We all know what that is.

This next two weeks leading up to the convention in Denver is important. We have a goal, that goal has not changed. Hillary has not ended her campaign - she only suspended, she has not released her delegates. Remember that. I'm certain Obama does....every day. YOu can bet the Obama people will be doing their work behind the scenes everywhere to ensure Obama wins. Like he planted Patti Doyle, he will have his people everywhere, they will try to encourage a move toward Obama. We must stand together, work together. This is not a movement in anger, but one of respect, belief and integrity. Remember, we have power here. Obama knows it. Hillary has a lot of supporters.

There is meaning, purpose, conviction in what we do. It would not be right to forget about how Obama cheated, about the wrong done, without it being challenged, without action, without a consequence. Otherwise, you reward abuse. By accepting what happened without speaking up, without fighting to the very end; the end of the convention, all of this was for nothing. No matter what happens on the final day, we all must be united and stand for what is right, respect, doing the right thing. It is not about any one person, it's about doing the right thing. If you do the right thing, good things generally happen. Maybe we haven't seen immediate results, but you can't look for immediate gratification. It comes when you least expect it.

Another worrisome sign for Obama
Thomas Lifson
A website which sells custom kippahs (aka yarmulkes) for Jews to wear at worship reports that sales of McCain kippahs outdistance Obama ones substantially. John Cook's Venture Blog reports

VanityKippah.com founder Shmuel Tennenhaus-- who recently left a Bellevue Internet company to start selling political versions of the traditional Jewish skull caps -- reports that sales of the"McCippah" are outpacing sales of the "Obamica."

At last count, McCain held a lead with 57 percent of kippah sales.

As the campaign proceeds and more Jewish voters have an opportunity to note the disturbing signs about Obama's likely policies toward Israel, even more McCippahs will be shipped.

This is very significant. Obama people must be watching this. The jewish people aren't talking, they aren't saying anything, they just aren't buying Obama's merchandise, words, or rhetoric.

And I think a lot of them will be posting here that Hillary can't win the nomination, to make us look towards Barack. They will say they want her to win, but will sound like it's a done deal that she cannot.

We know she can. Senator Clinton knows she can. And Barry/Barack knows she can.

Yes, She Can!

That's really the important thing, stay focussed, dont' get distracted by the negative and continue work for Hillary right through the convention. We will need to work together this next 10 days. There's going to be a lot of media out there.

You're certainly right Donna. I flirt with PLAN B but I most definitely believe that PLAN A is still on. I am a bit pissed that the roll call includes some show of solidarity and I hope our delegates stick to Hillary. Screw unity!

Wait until McCain picks Lieberman. Obama will lose FL in a landslide and possibly NY.

Lieberman sure has Nancy Pelosi upset. LOL

Good for him. I hope he upsets many more in the upper tiers of the DNC before he's finished. Many of them campaigned here in CT against him when he won his seat back as an Independent, including Chris Dodd.

Lieberman praises McCain at Holocaust center
BY NIRAJ WARIKOO • FREE PRESS STAFF WRITER • August 14, 2008

Stumping for Sen. John McCain at the Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills, Sen. Joseph Lieberman touted the Republican candidate's values and strong views on foreign policy as the reason why voters should choose him as the next president.

Touching on the birth of Israel and other world events, Lieberman said McCain would make national security decisions that were based on American and Judeo-Christian values.

"That's what we elect presidents for -- in that moment of crisis ... which we can't foresee, to make the right decision for our country and values," Lieberman said to a largely Jewish audience inside the center Wednesday night. "The man I want to sit behind the big desk and make those decisions in the Oval Office is John McCain."

Up to 500 people packed a hall inside the center to hear the Connecticut senator, a former Democrat who is now an independent. In previous presidential elections, Jewish voters have generally voted Democratic. But some who attended said that they will be voting for McCain this time.

Well, the Jewish people know when something is not "kosher" after all!

Thanks for your post, John. Especially with the convention so close, I am choosing to believe very little of what I see and hear. I am being very cautious of all news. We need to be very vigilant and at the same time we need to be absolutely focused during this last drive. I am doing everything I can to keep that level of energy UP for Hillary. Plan A all the way until I know otherwise.

Exactly, we've come too far to listen to or get sidetracked by any negative news out there. It's all meant as a distraction. We've got a job to do, 10 days to the Convention. All energy and focus on this. Respect of democracy is important. The obama people will try and take it away from us.

Thanks John for the upbeat post. Together we have moved mountains and we'll continue to push to the White House.

Hillary always said if we didn't give up on her, she'd never give up on us.
