I received this on email.

The Day of Reckoning is nearly upon us. Are you ready?

Hillary's name will be placed in consideration for the nomination at
the Democratic convention. There will be the appearance of a vote,
but it will be just for show. The outcome has already been decided
and the terms negotiated. Just like the Rules and Bylaws decision, it
will simply be theatre for the media. The Democratic "leadership" will
claim that Obama won fair and square. The convention is orchestrated
to promote and display Democratic unity. Even Hillary herself has
conceded her support to Obama and wrote in her email "You'll get to
see me speak Tuesday night and see Senator Obama accept the nomination
at Mile High Stadium on Thursday."

That is a day we are all dreading. What will you do?

Our choices are pretty clear. We can either admit defeat and vote for
Obama in November, or we can do what we've been doing all along:
working to improve the party and our Nation for the long term. We
need representative and responsive government. We need to think of
the future. We are tired of our party telling us what to think.

The Democratic "leadership" has demonstrated it's scorn for the
rank-and-file Democratic voters and will not allow us to reform the
party through them. Nancy Pelosi has continuously insulted Hillary
supporters, most recently with her blanket statement that Hillary
supporters have been "less than gracious" and need an attitude
adjustment. Until we can rid the Democratic "leadership" and the
Congress of the Obama-crats, we'll be stuck with the same
dysfunctional dead wood.

Our elected Democratic leaders have forgotten that they work for us.
They have failed us on FISA, on the environment, on the war in Iraq,
and have failed to support the lower and middle classes.

There is hope. If Congress won't work for the interests of their
constituents, we will find someone who will. We need to vote out the
current Democrats who turned on us so we can elect people who will
stand with us and act in our interest in the future.

We should work to ensure that this November 4th is a Day of Reckoning
for Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and any other Democrat who failed to stand by
the principles of Democracy that we hold dear.

Somehow, deep down, I feel that there is a BIG movement for Plan A . There is just so much speculation from every corner....every perspective. It's difficult to disipher what is going on. But, I can't help but think that there is a MAJOR turn of events about to happen.

I stand fully behind this statement.

I think that PUMA is just getting started. There is ALOT to do to secure the future of the country and we must keep fighting.

Who is this from? Sounds like a Republican outfit. This is the perfect time for them to try to get all Democrats, good and bad, out, just because of Obama. Don't fall for it. We have to do our homework, even though it may be hard, and research to see which candidates deserve to stay, and which deserve to go.

Or we can take the easy way out.

I will be sending a message with every vote I have a privilege to cast as an American citizen COUNTRY BEFORE PARTY!

Star, I agree with you up to a point, but whether this email was written by a Republican or not, there is a very important messege in it. We've seen throughout this campaign just how little people will research the information that's out there on candidates--whether from laziness, lack of ability, or they just don't care for some reason. Those of us who are willing to check below the surface image of a candidate will continue to do so (i.e. all of us), but I know personally that some people will vote for a particular candidate regardless of what their records are like--Barack Obama, for instance.

That said, I will try my best to influence others to vote some of the S*b's, who have tried to foist BO down our throats during this past primary, out of office! They will have had to possess practically perfect records in the past to redeem themselves to me.

There is no party worth the destruction of good, deserving people's chances to become whatever they are capable of becoming. I don't think that this would be taking the easy way out either, because when I support a candidate I give them my all if they show me that they are honest and fair in their efforts. I will always be fair if they return the gesture.
Hope this doesn't offend anyone; it's just how I feel. I feel so hurt and enraged, and disappointed, too, by the treatment Hillary and her supporters have had to endure these many past months, it's hard for me to feel otherwise right now.

I honestly think that after the convention we will all see a large change in events and our goals will change. we will still be working hard, and PUMA will be a large part of it. It will be country before party more even then, than now. I think the work is only begining.

It is and PUMA has become so instrumental in the (dare I say it) change that will happen in the DNC and the political party process.

I wholeheartedly agree, no matter what happens at the Denver Convention, there is much work to be done. Let there be retribution upon those who have acted against the wishes of the people.

I have to put my country over party. The world is very unstable, with the middle east and Russia, and I just cannot vote for this unqualified, wishy-washy flip-flopping, say what they want to hear, no proof of citizenship, a lot he is hiding, win at any cost, hater, race baiting, thug hiring, corrupt party, man.

I have to vote for a candidate I believe has the ability to keep my country safe. Hillary or Mccain.
