So, I just got Corsi's "The Obama Nation" audiobook and I plan to listen to it over the next few days. But Obama has released a 40-Page rebuttal to what he claims are "lies" in the book on his Fight The Smears website. (The rebuttal is titled Unfit For Publication).
But after checking through the parts he claims are lies, it seems Obama himself is using lies to try and discredit the book.
Obama has identified the top 3 "lies" in the book on his site:
"Lie" No. 1.
The year 1995 was a banner one for Obama. He had just married Michelle and the couple bought a Hyde Park condo, the first home Obama ever owned.”
This isn't a lie, it's just vague phrasing. Corsi is talking about the year 1995 and mentions in passing that Obama had, by 1995, married Michelle and bought a home. Obama tries to make this look like a lie, saying he married in 1992 AND BOUGHT A CONDO IN 1993. But Corsi hasn't lied about anything, he just didn't specify the dates in this passage. It's shocking that this is what Obama identifies as the "biggest lie" in the book. It's not a lie at all!

Senator Obama could claim to be a citizen of Kenya, as well as of the United States. Obama can trace his heritage back to his mother, who was born in the United States and was an American citizen when he was born, and to his father, who was born in Kenya and was a Kenyan citizen when Obama was born.”
Obama claims Corsi is trying to say he has dual citizenship. But that is a distortion. When Corsi uses the phrase "citizen of Kenya" he doesn't mean it to be taken literally. Corsi is just talking about Obama's heritage - American and Kenyan. So this is yet another tiny subtlety that Obama is trying to make seem like a huge lie.

Michelle announces in her Princeton thesis that she has been influenced by the definition of ‘black separatism’
Obama tries to pretend that Michelle was just using a quote from Black Separatism in her thesis. But her whole thesis was ABOUT black separatism. She used quotes to support her black separatist position. So again, this isn't a lie at all.
Don't you think it is odd that the media is calling this book a web of lies, but the top 3 "lies" Obama points out aren't actually lies at all.
Obama is trying to pull the wool over people's eyes. He's scared that people are actually finding out the truth about his background so he's trying to discredit the truth and pretend people are lying about him.
But it's all true. We've known all this stuff for months. There's nothing new here. Just the truth about Obama is now reaching a wider audience.
I'm going through the rest of Obama's Unfit For Publication, but I expect it's just more of the same - creating fake "lies" to disprove.
