That makes me feel safe. This is the man who wants to defend our country?
The first time the enemy says anything against him or Michelle, they will be considered racist and he will have to tell them to leave his wife alone.
Grandma? O.K. I realize that she was a force in his youth, but what kind of advice could she give? He already said she was typical and racist.
Ted Kennedy. WoW! I guess if he got his self into domestic trouble. the Kennedys probably know all the ways to dodge a bullet, but I think regarding foreign policy, Obama is in BIG trouble.

He must be ashamed of his grandma. He seemed to use her for his purpose but he's unwilling to introduce her to the american public. why? there is something fishy with this BO.
Apparently, he has not felt the need of her wise counsel for years....nor does he care to share this font of wisdom with his wife & kids.
But why choose this Typical White person, a racist, who provided him with a "tough childhood." ?
Oh - and be prepared: Michelle Obama will soon be harping about her "tough childhood" (in a middle-class neighborhood?).

Obama's response to that question was the stupidest thing he said, I think. WTF was up with that? He's going to consult Michelle and his grandmother about issues in his administration??? WHAT??? What the hell do they know about the economy, foreign policy, the energy crisis?
I'll guarantee you Obama had orders from Michelle that he'd better work her superior knowledge into the mix somehow last night.
Obama is a bumbling idiot and we have to stop him. Plain and simple.
And yes, Alex01 we are still working here to get Hillary elected but I think it's fine for others to praise McCain and support him here. I am still on Plan A: Hillary. But, we have to be honest with ourselves and say that the chance is slim that she will emerge the victor at the convention. We are doing everything we can to ensure it but the DNC is pretty determined, I believe.
So, it is fine for someone to say, "Go McCain!" because most of us here will be saying exactly the same thing if Obama steals this election from Hillary.

Yes, you think she is well enough to advise him for another 4+ years? that is if he calls her. And, let's hope she is current on world affairs like Georgia and Russia.
I certainly hope she does not advise him to "Meet evil with humility" or whatever it was that he said yesterday.

I posted in another thread here about this. It finally dawned on me that Obama's stating that he would consult with Michelle and his grandmother was simply to pander to the women of this country. He wanted them to see that he respects women and would ask advice from them. He forgets that many of us have already witnessed what he thinks is "respect of women."
It took a bit for the light to come on for me but it finally did and I realized that Obama was doing nothing more than shameless pandering.

He also said he talks to Sam Dunn and Dick Luker,a republican on foreign affairs, and on domestic Ted Kennedy and Tom Colbert. He likes to come to the table with lots of different views he said!

yes he is pandering to women. McCain is winning that group. Obama is a disaster and I hope she wins the nomination. I have this feeling that she is going to win it. The more the Media spins this the more I think she is going to win. If she didn't have a chance then why the need to reassure themselves that their chosen one will prevail. They would just ignore it. They are nervous. This is good.

You've got a point there. I agree w/ Sen. McCain that Paris Hilton has a better energy policy than BO does. :D
