View Full Version : QUESTION: What Brings You To The Hillary Clinton Forum?
I sincerely wish I had established this forum months ago! But perhaps it has been the rise of Obama that has mobilized me into ACTION. Hillary Clinton is the OBVIOUS choice for Democratic nomination and I will do whatever I can, in my own small way, to help make that a reality! Join in the discussion, debate and analysis - the more people the better! Please inform everyone in your networks of the exsitence of this forum!
After hanging out on Facebook posting random comments on Hillary's wall, and seeing great ideas becoming buried in the thousands of comments, I realized the need for a more organized way in which to discuss the many, many issues being raised about Hillary's campaign - and that of her opponent's. This is a place for Hillary fans to join together and discuss our support for the best Presidential candidate in 2008! It's a place for Hillary fans to discuss key issues and unite around our candidate! I encourage you to post new topics and comments freely, and to spread news about this forum to all whom you think may be interested in what it has to offer.
Purpose of the Forum
* draw together supporters of Hillary Clinton
* share our views, ideas, opinions regarding her campaign and candidacy
* connect with others to help with grassroots campaigning
Thanks & Welcome!

I must admit I've never commented on her Facebook and I don't believe on her blog either, but felt that a forum was more to my likeing, having seen an ad in a bulletine on Myspace (truethfully, I don't recal accepting a friend invite). I know I'm young, but far from naive, ignorant, unintelligent, or immature.
It's a bit late, but I'll do what I can to help you, to help Hillary.

Ah, those bulletins can work! Glad you found your way here. I found the Facebook wall exceptionally chaotic - like a 100 people shouting all at once. It has no organization, no theme - just random linear comments. And the blog on Hillary's site I found frustrating - having to wait for comments to be approved...I am more of a forum fan so here we are!

Well Murray, this forum is a good idea, but I agree
with you, you shoulda done it a few weeks ago. :D
I just registered, this is my first post.
I didn't think Hillary would do well this evening.
Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania are musts now, no leeway.
I'm afraid some people will feel so demoralized after tonight, they'll give up.
I'm more bound and determined to get more personal with this campaign in the real world rather than on line where I'm finding a lot of what you did...confusion and chaos. However, here I am on your forum. :lol

WELCOME ALICE :)
I should have done it long back but you know, it's only recently that I have started to feel DISTURBED by what is happening - that inner feeling of deep concern is what propelled me to start a forum! I couldn't sit back any longer and do nothing, so this my small effort to help support Hillary and acknowledge that not all of us out there have fallen for the empty promises and the preaching-driven pseudo-religious messages of her opponent.
I feel ya! I feel more determined than ever to campaign for Hillary! I feel like going out on the streets and protesting - WAKE UP AMERICA!! I am so concerned about what is happening. So many people are falling for the "I will save you" message. It's disturbing.
Yes, the Internet stuff can be quite chaotic. The Facebook Wall is INSANE - a million people shouting all at once with no organization. And then after too many posts they disable your account! MySpace provides great exposure but again, not a lot of community building take place. The way I see this forum is like this - it's a like a "home base" - to share information and campaign strategies with each other and then get out their "on the ground" and speak with the real people about the MESS which is unfolding!!!

Absolutely, Murray!
I think Hillary's biggest enemy has been the sick slanted media in their attempts to keep viewers, they twist all kinds of info which unfortunately has an effect on voters' momentum 'n participation.
Alright Murray, I'm outta here for now, I'll check back in tomorrow 'n let's see what we can get done.
And as I said, great idea for a forum, Murray!!

Knowledge is experience everything else is just information.
“It takes courage to see the truth; intelligence alone is not enough, it rather helps a lot to invent lies.” Alice Miller
I know Hillary has the experience/knowledge and I am pretty sure she has the courage. I would love to see her become the next president of the United States and maybe
Obama the vice president and maybe eight years from now, he could become president, after gaining more experience and we have gotten to know him better because I have no idea of who he real is!
“We have seen how easy it is for intellectuals in a dictatorship to be corrupted, it would be vestige of aristocratic snobbery to think that only “the uneducated masses” are susceptible to propaganda. Both Hitler and Stalin had a surprisingly large number of enthusiastic followers among intellectuals. Our capacity to resist has nothing to do with our intelligence but with the degree of access to our true self.” Alice Miller

The most important issues for me are the right for women to choose and raising awareness of all forms of child abuse around the world. The only way we can change the world is if we can stop all forms of child abuse around the world.
I have confidence in Hillary.

I agree with the post that the media is presenting a completely biased account of the Hillary campaign. There is not one person who will bring up anything about Obama that doesn't suggest that he walks on water. I want to talk to folks who understand how brilliant Hillary really is!:D

I could not agree more. I basically wanted an outlet to show my support for Hillary and talk to other people who believe in her and see beyond the media bias and Obama-ganda. I'm so glad I found this place!!
My name's Brooke and politics has been my life since I was 13, back in 1992 when her husband ran for President. He's my political hero.

Oh it is. I'll admit, I have had issues with her in the past but I've always supported the Clintons and this is like one big trip down memory lane for me and I do not want it to end!
I have a bumper sticker from back in the day that says "Support President Clinton" and I have taken it out hoping to reuse it!

I agree. What I find in most Clinton supporters is an ability to accept that they (Hillary & Bill) are just normal people with flaws and insecurities like the rest of us. I like Hillary but I don't idolize her like a maniac! I can see she has both assets and liabilities like we all do. And that's endearing that she is real and not a charlatan! In contrast, obamamaniacs are so obsessed with BO that they cannot see the negatives, all they see is HONEYMOON and fantasy, not reality, and that's dangerous. People need to have a healthy, balanced and realistic view of politicians/leaders and not be fooled by glamor, glitz and propaganda!

Oh, Murray you're confusing me..lol. I got it now. And I just noticed your sig.
I agree with you. However, I was a young teenager when Bill was in office and I must admit I sort of put him high on a pedestal and was naive and blind. So the Lewinsky mess hit me hard because I'd believed him. But people make mistakes and I had to learn he was human like the rest of us and it was a great learning experience for me. I always admired and support him and even though I was disappointed, I got past that and continued to admire and support him and became inspired by his shortcomings and he's always been a part of everything I do. Both of them have.
But that's what scares me about the Obamaniacs, I feel they're all going to be extremely disappointed, just by him being President. Bill never disappointed me politically or as President, just personally. But Obama's going to do such a lousy job that he's going to let all of his cult members down.

I know people make mistakes. And I am sure the ML debacle upset a lot of people but if Hillary could move on from it, so should everyone else be able to.
As for the O-Maniacs, I share your concerns. Of course BO is a great speaker, engaging (to a point) and knows how to "talk the talk". But his political actions, historically, suggest clearly he does not have anywhere near the ability or capacity to bring about the kinds of changes he promises. He is a human being, not a god. I think it is irresponsible and damaging, especially for young people who have flocked to him, to promise the world and not be able to deliver. All of these newly-engaged voters will be so bitterly disappointed and disilluisoned when BO is not able to fulfill their fantasies that they have of him. BO has created too big an image for himself and there is only one way to go from here -down.
Hillary Clinton is much more grounded in reality and seems to have an acute awarenes of what it really requires, on a practical level, to achieve changes (big and small) within a complex political system. And in this sense her position is entirely correct - "words are cheap", "words are not action", "speeches are not solutions". She has been working on "changes" in political and public life at a national level since the mid 1990s - I think she has a very good idea, therefore, of what is required to achieve change! ;)

You hit the nail on the head about Obama so much! What gets me is when he says "Well people can't say I voted for the Iraq war because I didn't" Well no crap, you weren't able to vote for anything when that vote took place. And the truth is, had he been in the Senate in 2002, he would have voted for it like everybody else. It was the times back then, so soon after 9-11. So really, to me, that argument has no merit.
I want to just touch on the young voters you mentioned. I think they broke the age gap to 18-29. I'll be 29 this year so that makes me an old young voter. And I think the only part of that group he's getting are the ones 18-21ish because the rest of us were old enough to remember the days of the Clinton Administration and are smart enough to know this man can't deliver on his promises of change.

Precisely! Very easy to say "I didn't vote for it" - yeah because you couldn't!!! So easy to pass judgement about a process he had nothing to do with! And yet people still fall for this propaganda!

I've been looking for a forum like this for a few months now. Thanks so much for getting this going! Don't feel bad that it may seem a little late for the primaries and caucuses. But more and more people will find it once Hillary wins the nomination, and I think it'll be a great resource. I also think it'd be great to keep this forum going even after Hillary is elected president.

Agreed on all counts! :)
Initially I felt a little disappointed that I didn't think of the idea before the voting season started but at that point my frustrations hadn't been triggered! It was seeing the rise of Obamamania and the unfair treatment of Clinton that I felt driven to take action to "fight back" so to speak in my own "grassroots-level" way - and this forum is the result. I have always had an interest in justice and I could see Hillary was being unjustly treated while her opponent was getting a free ride. That made me angry!
I know there are millions of Hillary supporters so it should only be a matter of time before more and more people find the forum - and the more people who contribute, the more dynamic and engaging the forum will become. At present most people are hooked on Facebook which is a little disappointing as it's not the most productive of environments - it's great for fast news but not for constructive dialogue and critical debate. And I do plan to keep the forum open regardless of what happens with the end result in June! Thanks for contributing!

Hi there!
I'm so glad I found this forum...
I may be young and I don't even live in the US, but Hillary is my role model and there's nothing I would like more than to see her become president!
I support her in every way that I can (I even convinced my friends in Cali that she's the best person for the job) and I'll believe in her no matter what happens next.
It's nice to meet you all!

Obama's myspace page
I posted the comment below in Obama’s page, but his comments have to be approved first. Of course they did not approve my comment, but they approved the comment: “brothers for bros not hoes”. They just showed to me that they are sexiest. The comments in Hillary’s page they don’t need to be approved first. Anyone can go there and make a comment even the haters. It just shows to me that in Obama’d page there is no free speech they control what its posted, it sounds a lot like a dictatorship. It shows they cannot be trusted and that they are power hungry and controlling.
Knowledge is experience everything else is just information. And we all know how most information is misleading and lies.

Actually, the official Hillary myspace page requires comment approval:

The other non-official Hillary myspace page does not require comment approval (and it's generally a mess there!!!:

But take heart. Half of my comments to CNN Political Ticker don't pass their pro-Obama moderation process. And today I was blocked out of Democratic Underground forum again for being pro-Hillary.

We all learned the hard way! Don't waste your previous time and energy on those who are under a spell! They have to find out the TRUTH themselves. I too wasted much time trying to reason with the opposition and then I finally concluded that my time was better spent networking with other Hillary supporters who already "get it" !

Someone left this link on my hillaryclinton.com blog in a comment. I assume that we are all aware that we are in a battle with the trolls. I have been posting and reposting my best researched articles and opinions based on research.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Philosohpy and Liberal Arts. I served as an Honorary Scientist on a Scientific Research Board with retired Star Gate founders and members. I was asked to submit my own research to them. Over 60,000 top secret documents were released from the C.I.A. for their government sponsored projects which spanned over a decade and a half. President Clinton signed the Freedom of Information Act papers so that the personnel could become free agents and be able to submit scientific papers based on their years of research lawfully. That is the first reason I support Senator Hillary Clinton.
The second reason I support Senator Hillary Clinton is that I am a Veteran of the ARNG. In 1997, I turned down a position in Naval Satellite Weapons Targeting because I felt that if there ever were an issue in which I was privy to data and information which I might perceive as unlawful and sought help from outside sources, such as a lawyer, being a lesbian might be the only reason that the Navy might be able to discharge me, disregarding Ask Don't Tell, and I might lose my Veterans Benefits.
Third, as a member of a scientific research non-profit group, I learned about the Cold War from retired military intelligence members. It became clear to me that the Arms Race was more real and in my back yard than I had wanted to know previously. I live in the vacation town of Santa Cruz, California. Santa Cruz is surrounded by a military industry. Over the hill is Silicon Valley along with NASA. Down the coast is the Monterey Language Institute--Navy. I grew up in a Nuclear Submarine Base town. I am quite aware that our coast and borders are entry points and targets. As someone who studied martial arts since a teen ager, I know that the only defense is awareness and practical knowledge. In our case as a country, citizens need to be more aware and the military needs to be more practical.
Fourth, I have lived through the era of the Civil Rights Revolutions which have changed our state and nation. Although that has been an amazing vantage point to grow up in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have also seen the evolution of drug abuse and trafficking. When I was a child, prostitution was rampant because of the soldiers coming into the port during the Vietnam Era. Afterwards, the rise of drugs in the Bay Area caused many families to break apart.
Fifth, Universal Health Care can alleviate issues of drug abuse which may arise from legitimate mental and physical disorders and disease. It may be true that people use drugs to get away from their every day problems. If I were a drug user, it would be to alleviate chronic pain. Gladly, I have not followed that path because I witnessed so many people becoming habituated. However, I do believe that with the science and medicine and real use of meditation and prayer, modern Health Care can alleviate many health issues more easily than ever. For instance, the fact that Traumatic Brain Injury is now understood to the point that at least people with Post Traumatic Syndrome Disorder do not have to be categorized as Mentally Ill. That is a leap in medicine.
Sixth, as someone who has known retired military intelligence personnel, I believe that Senator Hillary Clinton has been prepared to handle the diversity of issues which will be required for our Commander in Chief to resolve to protect our country. She has lived within the government and the White House; now we are learning she has interviewed soldiers and officers over the years; she has been a negotiator; she has a legal background; and, most of all, she cares about being an American. Hillary Clinton listens to Americans because she is proud of our country and our country's history. Hillary Clinton is a patriot. And, she is patriotic.
Seventh, I am here to support all of the people who believe that Hillary Rodham Clinton not only deserves to be the 44th President of these United States of America but that We the People in Order to Form a more Perfect Union deserve Hillary Rodham Clinton to be our President of our United States of America.

Wonderful. Thanks for sharing this well-articulated and compelling account of documenting reasons to support HRC.
And welcome to this forum!

I've noticed a lot of new members recently, and I just wanted to give a big welcome to all of you!
I'm confident Hillary will be hanging in there beyond March 4, and I plan to help the campaign in Pennsylvania.

I even have one here in French blog it is called: sans-blague-blog.over-blog.com I will get someone to help me post my writting.
BTW sans blague means "No kidding" in French. I thought blague &blog was so a propos for our mission don't you think?
Also I thought of this: sometimes typos are no accident
I typed OMAMA instead of OBAMA then I thought I will write an acticle just on that. If we give her that nick name OhMAMA maybe she will get some votes from the ones who strive on entertainment and fickle votes.
A woman's got to do what a woman's got to do.

I'm here for a number of reasons. For one thing, I adore Hillary Clinton and want to see her occupying the White House again...only this time as president. For another, the blogs on HillaryClinton.com--where I've been hanging out--are difficult to use, continually have technical problems, posts are deleted for no reason, and Obama-ite trolls run rampant. I'd like more of a safe haven, although I have nothing against INTELLIGENT discussion with supporters of other candidates. But the trolls at HC just copy/paste the same old crap over and over again, with no other objective than to incite anger among us Hillary supporters.
I guess that's about it. Now I'm off to spread the word about this forum, as I'm glad someone else did for me! :D
ETA: Where's my sig? I saved it...but now it's gone. :(

Very glad you found us! And I share your concerns about the individual HC blogs - they are not the most effective way to bring people together in collective discussion - an open forum is.
Intelligent discussion is one thing but abuse and copy/past of trash is another! The latter is what we tend to see with the more obsessed of O's supporters. As such, there is no place for them here! This is a pro-Hillary forum and unashamedly so! No avenue for their smear and slander in here! Too many of us have been burned already!
Yes, please spread the word about the forum to as many people as possible! The more people who register and get involved, the more effective we can be as a collective!

I still like the Blogs, and I like the fact I can come home at night and go back and forth to blogs I can see all at once in a column. Problem is, I couldn't get to all of them fast enough and they would disappear forever, bumping down, and vanishing at the foot of the page. And there was no way to keep up with all the comments, some as interesting as the original statement.
Meanwhile, someone commented on one of my blogs, and recommended that I join the forum. So, here I am.
Other than the format, I'm here because I would like to be able to talk about certain things in depth, and while increasing my own understanding of how the mess from the Bush years affected "me," maybe arrive at something that could help Hillary win.
I believe in her ability to lead and trust her judgment about how to get some very big problems solved. I especially trust her integrity, which is one of her most important assets. She doesn't "trick" her way through a debate, she reasons, and she will not compromise what she believes in.
One thing I wish she would point out is that EVERYONE was for the war in Iraq because of the lies we were told. The fact that Obama wasn't, is kind of strange, given what we were told. Just like back in the Nam days, Kerry was a hero -- but during his recent campaign, he was belittled for his outstanding courage, back then, to take a stand against the Vietnam war.
The problem with politics today is that there are so many hidden agendas. Therefore, what "seems" to be the issue really isn't. For example, someone told me at my blog site that MSNBC is owned by Microsoft (MS), and GE owns NBC. Therefore, they are against Hillary for interfering with THEIR OWN energy policy, in Bush's energy bill. But they won't come out and say it because they don't want the public to know what's really up their sleeve, which is what has been behind their "war against Hillary."
This is frustrating: Could someone please tell me how to link a particular blog to the forum? That way, I could more easily share some of the ideas I've been working along with other people's important comments.
I also wish there was a way for her to "teach" why Obama's ad campaign
was so effective.

I have come to realize that the centerpiece of the hidden agenda behind Obama is literally, to keep the war going as long as possible, "100 years," literally. It's called "Pentagon Capitalism."
It's the WAR that's causing OIL to skyrocket, the treasury to crash through the fathomless bottom, civil rights and freedom gone, Guantanamo in place, where we're all going if McCain gets in -- and a bunch of very rich drunks will get filthy rich off slave labor drilling for oil, like what happened in Africa with the diamond mines.
Far fetched? Take a look. They've been setting us up for years. The robots that worship these very dangerous con artists are so hypnotized that the very sound of Bush's voice demanding more blood and money actually sounds SOOTHING!!
Obama? Obama is just a pawn to get McCain elected.
In this light, lets look at MSNBC's attack on Hillary: MS (Microsoft) NBC (owned by GE) wants Bush's energy bill to pass, and Hillary blocked it. If you were GE, would you want Hillary for President? As RAnnie pointed out, there is plenty that's negative about Obama, yet they left him alone -- because OBAMA IS PART OF THEIR AGENDA.
This is frustrating: Could someone please tell me how to link a particular blog to the forum? That way, I could more easily share some of the ideas I've been working along with other people's important comments.
Eridon - all you have to do is "copy" the link (the web address) and "paste" it into the comment box and click submit. Then we will be able to visit your blog.

I came here by way of MySpace. To be honest I find so many of the posts I see there very difficult to read. I don't believe that Obama refuses to participate in the Pledge of Allegience, that he is a muslim or a racist, nor do I think he is the anti-Christ. I simply don't think he is as well qualified as our Senator Hillary Clinton. What's more I believe that his ambition is dangerous. What makes it worse is that he is presenting himself to be above the game of politics when it is so clear that playing that game oh so well is how he got to this exact point. Not being truthful in this matter is why I am having a difficult time thinking of ever supporting him.
More importantly though, I am indeed a Hillary supporter and always have been!

Agree on all counts!
MySpace is far too extreme. Riddled with conspiracy theories and the like! None of my concerns about Obama are linked to his "race" or his "religion".
My concern is that Clinton is by far the superior candidate, on so many levels, and yet Obama has been given free passage for a multitude of reasons. I also believe he is highly opportunistic and that he is misrepresenting who he really is politically, and what he does/doesn't stand for.
And like you, I have long been a Hillary supporter. Back in 2004 I was lamenting that she wasn't running for the candidacy and 2008 seemed such a long way off. Well here we are. And who would ever have predicted what is currently taking place!

I'm joining to get and give support from other HRC supporters. I have been overwhelmed and disgusted at most sites that have nothing but HillaryHaters
including ( but not limited to) HuffingtonPost and DKos. I spend a great deal of time contacting the media about the sick, horrible, sexist reporting that has occured during this campaign.
I've also been a member at another Pro Hillary site that shall remain nameless.
They are all great people working very hard for Hillary but spend TONS of time
arguing with all the HillaryHaters at DKos, which to me is a waste of time and enegry. They also to make snarky remarks to people such as " Why are you
even writing THIS ... we should be calling people, now is a time for ACTION.
While this is mild compared to the ObamaBots I still have a problem with anyone wagging their cyber finger at someone else!!
So I'm here just to share and hook up with non judgmental Hillary Supporters

I'm a mother of two small children. The thought of lead in their toys has always scared me. Hillary is the only candidate that has a plan to keep toxic toys, dog food, and other defective items from hitting the market.
Well, and Obama scares the crap out of me with his Bush-like speeches. Remember how G W Bush said that he was a "unifier" not a divider! Some would say that Obama is for change, cause he gives people hope. All I see are empty words (and trust me, I write so I know the power of words).
Thanks for reading, and even though I haven't always been a Hillary fan... I really want her to succeed for our country's sake and my children's future.

Thanks for your honesty! Like the rest of us, Hillary is not perfect but at least she is willing to make difficult decisions and learn from past decisions. Her opponent has yet to face those kinds of dififcult learning experiences at the highest political level. And there really isn't time for "on-the-job training" - especially when a highly qualified/experience candidate (Clinton) is already ready!

I started out on the blogs on the official HRC site, but the trolls really ruined the experience for me - it took forever to sift through the garbage and find substantive posts. I have been immune from day one to the BO rock star/messiah thing - I just don't buy it and find it creepy. However, when you know a lot of supporters of his, you begin to feel a bit alone. . . thankfully there are places like this! (My father-in-law even taught my 3 year old to tell me how much she likes Obama just to tick me off. Lovely. I'm working on her though!)
There are many reasons I support HRC, but it all started with New Hampshire. In fact, I feel that the NH debate should be required viewing . .. Hillary was just amazing. Richardson came off very well too, but we all know how that ended (plus his Iowa deal with BO was just obnoxious). BO was . . . well, let's be nice and say unimpressive. OK, let's not be nice and say he was totally out of his league and somehow managed to be both arrogant and snarky in the process. I gasped when he said "You're likable enough, Hillary." That was it for me. Before that debate, I thought I would most likely be supporting Hillary, but after that debate it there was no question in my mind. She really hit it out of the park.

Hi Kerry! I'm from Maryland, too--Rockville (born/raised in NJ, also lived in CA, now MD). I totally agree with you. First, about the blogs on Hillary's main website--trolls were overrunning the place, sometimes repeatedly posting the same vile messages, making it difficult for real supporters to find each other. This troll-free forum is so much better!! Second, that NH debate was one of the best in this campaign. Hillary was awesome and really did hit it out of the ballpark! You're so right about that.
That dismissive BO remark, "You're likeable enough, Hillary," was frankly a turning point for me as well. I was always for Hillary but before that comment, I thought I'd have no problem supporting BO if he got the nomination. After that comment (and subsequent negative/dismissive/anti-woman comments from him and his campaign), I decided I'd Never vote for that man. Period. That did it for me. Like you, I've always been immune to BO's charms. In fact, I don't even find the guy charismatic. What a smooth-talking empty suit he is!
That's a great shirt on your baby!

I live in California, and have been talking with many people in my community,
blogging, and making calls for Hillary!
I cannot believe how much the media has used sexism, and how many
Obama people on the blogs have given misleading information about Hillary
and the solutions she has.
Sometimes I have a hard time and struggle trying to establish my point of view on the various issues. I hope by participating in some discussions,

I was a bit frustrated with the loss of the official blog on Hillary's site but was far more frustrated with the infantile trolls that would clog up the site with their angry rants. On any given open blog such as Newsweek or CNN or MSNBC you can really see the difference in the two camps supporters. We need a place where everyone is civil.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have never been a strong debater. I usually get so angry when someone disagrees with me or says something blatantly ignorant to me that I get all flustered. I liked the blog at the HC website because I could (well at least before the trolls came) research issues and post my findings on that blog. I still have a lot of what I posted saved in MSWord, so I won't have to redo all of my research.

Murray, this is great...I have been a Hill supporter for a long time, in fact during the 2004 election I wrote Hillary in as my choice then for Pesident and my faith in her has never faltered. I live in upstate NY and she has been a big voice for us. Anyway, I have not been able to comment on the facebook...I never seem to get posted. I was enjoying visiting the HC blog on a daily basis, but can't find it anymore. The link to this site was posted in the HUBdate today, so here I am. Thank you for this forum and I do agree it is way overdue. There was also the "No bashing zone" that was started a couple weeks ago...this has since disappeared too. I really hope this forum site remains for the rest of the campaign. I work long hours and depend on these sites for a lot of my infomation. I am frequently forwarding links to sites and info to my mother-inlaw from these sites. She is a huge Clinton fan and supporter. Although I may not blog much I am always reading what everyone has to say, and it will be nice not to have to weed through the "trolls". thank you for this site and all you are doing to help make Hillary our 44th President of this great country we call America.

I definitely believe that this site will grow and stay viable for the long haul. It is all about the moderators and taking care of trolls swiftly. Some of the trolls from HC's site may have varying IP addresses, not static like mine. Therefore, everyone needs to understand that the moderators will remove them, but if they show up again it is just them changing their IP. Eventually the moderators will be able to cut them off, but things like that take time.
Oh, one last thing...make sure that you have an extra secure password. Add things like Capital letters midway and put some numbers in there to make it more complicated. Do NOT use your username anywhere in your password! There are robots out in the vastness of the internet that are great at figuring out easy passwords and will try to wreck the site. If you do your part and make it difficult for the robots to get in, we will all stand a better chance of staying here for the long haul.

I have been a Hillary CLinton Supporter all my life (I am 56...YUCK!) I NEVER thought I would get the chance to vote for a legitimate woman candidate for President let alone, Hillary. I personally feel the best years this country ever had were the Clinton years and the worst this country has ever had (And that's saying something!) are the 8 years that our constitution has been overthrown and we have been held hostage by the Fascist Bush gang of thugs! (but I'm not bitter...LOL)
I could tolerate Obama but I really think he is beginning to believe his own rhetoric and has fallen under the spell of the "walks on water" "candidate For sainthood" campaign propoganda. He just has really NO foreign experience and very little domestic experience. Our country is a MESS and it is not going to be easy to bring us back from the edge of the abyss that the Bush Gang has led this country to. Flatly, Hillary CLinton has that experience and heaven knows, she has taking every punch the Republicans can throw. The gloves are off!!! May the BEST COWGIRL win!!!

Welcome and may the best cowgirl win!
Hope you can get out tomorrow and caucus and bring everyone you know with you! :)
What's the feeling like "on the ground" in Wyoming. We get the sense Obama will win this one.

It's really hard to tell. This state is about 85% Mormon Republican (We also have a lot of polygamist families too.) The state only has a TOTAL population of 1/2 Million with most of the population in and around Cheyenne & Casper which are big college towns. Where I live (Just 15 miles inside Northern Border below Billings Montana and backing up to the Big Horn Mts.) I am outside a little town of 450 and myself, my Husband and my son are THE ONLY REGISTERED DEMOCRATS!!! Really!
I have to drive a long way to causcus but will be there with bells on! The Hillary & Bill appearances in Wyoming drew HUGE crowds, far outdoing Obama. This is the "Equality State" being the first to let woman vote and the first woman governor so I am hopeful that some of those Republican women here will vote for Hillary without telling their spouses! In Wyoming, Oil, Bentonite & Coal are king not cattle! Also, 75% of all Wyoming land is owned by the US Government It is just really hard to gauge who will vote once you leave the State's only 2 metropolitan areas (believe me when I tell you that "metropolitan" is a stretch! LOL) I will tell you a tru story...I testified once before the Wyoming Legislature on a brand inspection issue and was told by one representative " You know what your problem is Missy???You are attitude in a skirt." ABSOLUTELY true!

:oSo glad to find this forum. I am from Ohio. I believe in Hillary's ability to get many things accomplished as our president.
The other blogs and sites are so unfriendly and combative.
Discussing things ends up in name calling and insults.
Most of the time I check in and read here and there to see what they are saying TODAY. On the Huffington blog if you are for Hillary and dispute them, most likely your comment will not be posted. It will never show up.
I am an 82 year old retired nurse who has pretty much followed Hillary's public life experiences and achievements, since she has been in public life. I am in her corner all the way.
I recognize her intelligence and ability to get things done and am so hoping we can make her our president. I want to continue to help in this endeavor.

Making calls to Wyoming yesterday, I found many ladies answering the phone did not realize the importance of caucusing. They stated they fully intended to vote for Hillary in the general election but seemed not to realize she had to get the delegates from the primaries and the caucuses to be the nominee.
We need to educate those who WILL go vote in these caucuses and primaries when they know the importance -and they know what is at stake.

It is unclear in all the calling scripts that the doors slam shut at the clock time.. and that there will be a LOT of parking issues.. and to expect these, and insist on their vote, and remaining steadfast in their support for Hillary.
Note that Puerto Rico is still in the Caucus column, with primary requested.. if any of you have contrary info, please send me. I think they were trying to move up the date to 6/1 as well.. but both Primary and 6/1 request were caught in DNC. Can someone send me ref if there is a decision on this.

Thank goodness there is a place for Hillary supporters to share their views and ideas and work together to support Hillary!
I've been abandonmed by AirAmerica, and indeed it seems all progressive radio! -- at first it was all---"how great we have a choice of so many wonderful candidtates!" then all of a sudden it was all BO non-stop all the time. Suddenly they lost the ability to call-out the media bias, because they're too busy engaging in it themselves. I've not heard anyone on AA mention the atrocious misogny that Hillary has been subjected too! As a matter of fact they've contributed to it!
So thank you for having a forum where Hillary supporters go for the real inforamtion on BO and to have a place to discuss the bias against Hillary and work out how together we can help Hillary win without there "help".

I too have submitted to CNN & MCNBC and have never had my post posted. I also seem to have a hard time getting posted on hillaryclinton.com blogs?
I was very disappointed in the official HillaryClinton.com (and I am very glad to have found this site!).
I posted maybe 20 times; perhaps two messages showed up. I got very tired of the "Rah Rah, I donated five bucks" and "I cried" messages, over and over again.
I was appalled by the state sites (The Washington state site went dormant the day before the caucus). So little there, no chance to develop state-based groups, encourage activism locally, communicate with supporters from the same state). The pointer they had (it is now gone) to a Washington-based yahoo group turned out to be invitation only, and even that group is now gone. Just because the primary is over in Washington is no reason to ignore it. I do believe there is a general election coming up....
There are so many Clinton supporters just dying to do something, and the official site seems uninterested. I still get plenty of emails from them though.
And my donations to the Clinton campaign have stopped. When Mark Penn donates the six million bucks he earned by screwing up, I will start again.
Now onto blogging: I have found that responding on blogs is a waste of time. Pro-Clinton posts are slimed over by Obama Ranters, and the blogs descend into semi-literate, scatological nonsense, which no one in their right mind would spend time reading. And so your reasoned, fact-filled posts are wasted.
I have had some success sending emails directly to the shows (either via their online "send a comment to xxxx" or by looking around and finding actual emails for the hosts). And I have sent emails to executives at CNN, MSNBC, Fox, etc. and to the editors at NYT, Seattle Times, Washington Post, Chicago Trib, etc. I doubt any of these execs actually read the things, but someone, somewhere has been given the task of keeping track of these, and tabulating them.
I also sent messages of thanks to Senators Murray and Cantwell (who endorsed Clinton) and a message of 'shame on you' to Gov Gregoire (who did not). Again, someone is counting these.
And yes, I have sent emails to the Washington superdelegates.
And I have written (again, via the website; I doubt it worked all that well because I received a Thank You for Your Generous Contribution from Howard) to Howard Dean, explaining that I will vote for McCain if Obama gets the nomination.
I have written to Tavis Smiley, commiserating with him for being attacked (after he dared criticize the Exhalted One), urged him to endorse Clinton, and mentioned a fib or two in the Exhalted One's resume. Ditto John Edwards (though I could not find an email address for him and used his website, which I am not sure is still active).
This morning, I wrote to Ed Rendell (thanking him). I wrote to a number of Seattle reporters pointing the way to the "enhancements" in Obama's resume.
My voice alone will not influence the public, but if I can get someone who has a public voice to do some homework and reveal the Man Behind the Curtain, I will have accomplished something.
I will continue to write and urge politicians and others in the public eye to endorse Senator Clinton. I'll continue trying to research that resume of Obama's. And I'll continue to send messages about the "hope and change" guy who is merely an ambitious, arrogant, cunning fake.
Thanks again for this site, Murray!
(but could you please lose the videos atop the page? It takes long moments to refresh everytime I change to another page).

Great intro post - many other people have had a similar experience and your energy/enthusiasm is most welcome here!
Sadly, I think the videos will have to go as they are annoying me too and I have a super fast connection - no loading problem here but it's a bit annoying having to scroll down all the time.
I luckily found this website on one of the blogs at hillaryclinton.com. I'm glad to find the forum because it looks like when you post a comment it actually is posted! I've posted so many times on hillaryclinton.com and they never show up. I want to support Hillary.
And I want to see the looks on Chris Mathews face when she wins.
I want to see Obama shown up for what he is. The first time I saw his SMIRK I knew!!!! Just like Georgie W.
Nothing but a guy with huge ambition and little else.
Obama belittles women. He is very nasty to Hillary but no one sees it.
Obama pretends that he is black and the son of a poor goat herder. He forgot about his mother I guess.
I read where his fathers family was quite well to do. And that his mothers family was too. And that the single mom brought me up boo-hoo poor me stuff is just that STUFF.

:It's Murray here, the administrator. In the forum I will be posting under "Admin" when doing administrative duties and under "Murray" when discussing my personal views.
Thanks for giving us a place to vent, brain storm, discuss, and find kindred spirits. The blogs on Hillaryclinton.com were getting so bogged down with trolls and with members who just continually posted the same message day after day. This is great, and you do a really good job of administering the forum.

I used to dislike Hillary (going back to the baking cookies days)...then one day recently I realized that Hillary was one of those (very few) women partners who cleared the way for women like me, in the high profile law firm for which I used to work. Those women had to be tough because they were invading a men's world. But of course, the men who were uncomfortable with those women labeled them "aggressive" and "*****y" because they weren't subservient and in awe of the male partners, which of course the men were used to! You all know what many of those male lawyers were like; arrogant and with an inflated sense of self-worth: precisely why they are so reviled by many non-lawyers today. Unfortunately, women contributed to that syndrome by falling all over them like they were so wonderful.... especially their secretaries!! And then, supposedly, we became "equal."
I began practicing law in 1982 in a highly regarded corporate firm, and you wouldn't BELIEVE what I had to put up with. It never occurred to me it would STILL be such a men's club. I was a NORMAL female- bright, socially adept, reasonably attractive, and not overly aggressive, and was offered a job by every firm to which I applied (not meaning to brag: just to let you know I wasn't odd or different).
When I first began working, the very few women partners there seemed so aggressive and cold that I wondered how I could EVER find a role model among them. It didn't take me long to realize that they HAD TO BE THAT WAY!!!!! First, a partner took me out to lunch and told me I was "too friendly." A few months later the SAME partner took me out to lunch again, and told me I was "too cold." Next, when I finished a project for another male partner and asked him if he needed any thing else, he responded "I'LL TAKE WHATEVER YOU'VE GOT..." in a very suggestive manner. Stunned, I said nothing. Another time I was talking with the managing partner about business trips, and he said (out of the blue) "Well, I could see, if we were on a business trip together, that something could happen between us." Stunned again, but this time with some experience behind me I responded "No, it would not, because I would not allow that." UNBELIEVABLE. Today, of course, these partners would NEVER say such things, but who knows if they still think that way!
So, I suddenly realized why Hillary is so afraid to "let go" and be sensitive and kind (if she still even has it in her!); she knows what she is up against, and how it is better for a woman to be labeled "aggressive" than "emotional" or "weak." And, like it or not, she paved the way for me, and millions of other women just like me. Hillary is just showing the scars of succeeding in her male-dominated profession, and we should thank her, not criticize her for the way she is....
Sorry for the rant, but in some ways I am afraid the men are turning the women on each other, and we should be more supportive and understanding of where Hillary has been and how she has arrived at this point.
Anyway, that's what brought me to this forum.... and now I feel a bit guilty for taking so long to realize this!

I came here from a link on the official campaign website.
I've only recently became interested in US politics and this presidential race. I lived in America (and Canada) - Alabama to be precise - for most of my childhood so unlike your average Briton, I'm still strongly connected with current affairs in America, I guess.
I was quite indifferent to Hillary Clinton, just like the way I was to most politicians but she has really inspired me to take an interest in politics. After Iowa, when she was down and almost out... I desperately wanted her to win. I just felt really sorry for her. When newsreaders on British telly were saying things like, "Hillary Clinton must fight for her political life", I thought it was all over... but one of the things I truly admire about this woman is her tenacity, grit and 'never-say-die' spirit. Some ppl might hate that kind of attitude that she supposedly has... that 'win-at-all-cost' attitude, never considering a graceful exit strategy and coming back from the edge of political death is what I love most about this fighter. :)
I found this site on stop-obama.org. I clicked on the link and here I am. I am so tired of the bad rap she gets all over the place. I'm glad to be around fellow supporters. I also couldn't post on Hillary's site.
Welcome. You can post a million message here if you wish! :)

She is passionate, determined, incredibley resilient and has an amazing STRENGTH of CHARACTER. These are the qualities of a TRUE leader. Many of those who criticize her are jealous, insecure or otherwise threatened by her power, power they wish THEY had.
So, I suddenly realized why Hillary is so afraid to "let go" and be sensitive and kind (if she still even has it in her!); she knows what she is up against, and how it is better for a woman to be labeled "aggressive" than "emotional" or "weak." Hillary Clinton has done more for women's rights than many women will give her credit it for. Her willingness to pursue a political life at the highest level despite tremendous odds is testimony to her resolve, strength and committment for fighting what she believes in. I think history will look back on Hillary Clinton as one of those people who was way ahead of her time, a person who changed the face of American politics by giving a VOICE and PLATFORM for WOMEN to have EQUALITY at the HIGHEST level - the US Presidency - and did so at great personal expense & suffering, all for the greater good of women and society. Any woman who votes against Hillary Clinton, given her extensive qualifications and experience, is voting for the ongoing oppression of all women.
And I am male by the way and do not understand how any woman could turn their back on Hillary Clinton. I can only conclude that a fair proportion of women in society have internalized the sexism and misogyny that exists in society and, in so doing, view women who seek power as "dangerous", "cold-hearted" and "ruthless" in the same way that many men do - and how conveniently this services the agenda of patriarchal society which has a vested interest in maintaining a male-female hierarchy! And it becomes so that men don't even need to oppress women to maintain this status quo, some women do the job for them by oppressing other women!
Someone else in this forum has said this and I think it has some truth:
Women who love being women like Hillary Clinton
Women who hate being women don't like Hillary Clinton

1. Her work with women and children is important to me. We need to put the so-called "soft issues" like work with women's rights around the world on our front-burner.
2. Her experience on the Senate Armed Services Committee has always impressed me.
3. Her experience as an effective leader is necessary. Global climate change needs an effective US President. Hillary gets things done.
These are just three reasons why I am supporting her. I have many more.

I came here because someone posted the forum at Hillary's website.
I support Hillary because her stance on issues and policies make sense. She has deep and broad understanding of issues at hand. I support her because she is driven and focused on the issues affecting all of us, especially for the working class and less previleged folks. We dont want a president who only has 6-month's attention span once he gets into the WH. I support her more so because she being a woman gives me added assurance she'll keep to her promises. The women i came across in my life with deep conviction like Hillary's were always dutiful, responsible, professional and never failed to get the job done. I also support Hillary because even up to today (10-March), the papers/media are continuing in their anti-Clinton remarks but are very kind to BO. This sucks and it really affects Hillary's image or give wrong impression to the public.
I DO NOT SUPPORT BO because he CLAIMS he is the savior that we need to change Washington. By his words he is being judged. Based on what had happened in last few months, i find that he is a liar, and at best an opportunist. Since he claims he is a white knight, but his actions/past records show otherwise, he is worse off than those he criticized as 'old washington-style politics'. If you are practising the same as other politicians, but claims you are not and you are above the rest, you are to me the worst of all the politician.

It is GREAT to see so many new members here! And yes Hillary HAS had to face a double standard and an uphill climb. I have admired her from her Little Rock days. I saw what a great job she did there for families and children. Her work with Children's Hospital, with the education commission and her pro bono work for abused children. She was misunderstood to say the least when she first got there but, she won EVERYONE'S heart there and to this day programs she got in place are running successfully.
We all need to work together and make calls to see this great get things done for the betterment of EVERYONE woman in the oval office!

Anyway, that's what brought me to this forum.... and now I feel a bit guilty for taking so long to realize this!
cgarrett, welcome to this room...Your thought is exactly same with the reason why I do understand Hillary and on her side. Hillary is not only my role model but my 16 years old daughter as my daughter admitted...There are other women who dislike Hillary because they have ego of what Hillary can do but they cannot do. These women take this matter too personal. They use heart, not mind to make their decision. I talked to a white woman at work, she told me she hate Hillary to death. When I asked why she could not give me a reasonable reply why she hates Hillary. She hates Hillary and try to convince her husband to vote for Obama even though she doesn't know Obama well and her husband infact want to vote for Hillary but has to listen to her...That is sad to me!!!
Anyway, thanks for your post...It is very true that I see myself in your same situation most of my life if I don't get learn after being failure, stand up after being fall, and fight hard after being attacked.

Hi everyone, I found this site through Hillary's official website. I'd like to say I prefer the forum community more. I'm a 26yo guy from Massachusetts, and also a new supporter of Hillary. I must say that I was undecided between Hillary and Obama before, but it became cleared that Hillary is now my preferred choice, and I will fully support her first before BO.
When I saw Hillary's victory speech in Ohio, I was very very happy and filled with joy, and at that instance, something came across that this is the woman I want for my president. Something that I can't connect with BO.

I started volunteering for Hillary Nov.2007, after reading all the bad press, she was getting and it seem like they were promoting Obama to be this new Savior for the nation, I started thinking why am I only hearing such great wonderful praises for him and all the negative trash talk about her. Well I got boiling mad, and when I get mad I take action. I've never volunteered for anything in my life, but I know deep in my soul, Hillary is a truly good person, and she does'nt deserve the treatment she's getting from the press, nor from Obama and his supporters. So I've been blogging all over the place, I'm on my computer, sometime until late at night reading all the praise for Obama, and the hatered for Hillary, I try to responed to every site, and let the bloggers know why I support Hillary Clinton. I was so glad when Hillary created her own web-page so I could go there and read the good things about her, after all of the negative stuff. I try to donate when I can, I'm unemployed so I try to donate at least 10.00 a wk. I make calls when I can also. I want to go to Penn. to help out as I stay in NJ, but I don't know anything about the area, I would catch a train from Trenton, NJ but would need someone to meet me in PENN.:):)

I saw the link to this site at hillaryclinton.com and decided to check it out. As I've read others thoughts and blogged here the last few days, the process has felt like some kind of therapy. I'm relieved to have a SAFE place to express support and pride for Sen. Clinton, and also to express my growing frustrations with the process.
As I'm sure many of you have experienced, out in the "real world" I'm constantly attacked for supporting the candidate I strongly feel is most qualified to be President. Just yesterday, I had a blogger on politico.com call me a "monster-lover" repeatedly. What are we in 4th grade?! It is nice to come here and take a break from the hostility.
Women have never had an easy journey in our quest for equality, but I was truly unprepared for the level of hatred, misogyny, and pure venom that I've encountered, especially in the last few months. This forum is a breath of fresh air. Thank you to those responsible for starting and maintaining it and to all those who are participating.

I needed to find a place where I could connect with other Hillary supporters. I'm tired of all the media blog sites. Most of my comments never appeared anyway. Especially when I was making a good point against Obama. I have to admit that I have been trying to let go of all this a little. My kids think I am "addicted" to Hillary. :) I don't think I'm addicted, just passionate about how I feel and extremely concerned about where our country is headed. I really get this sense of doom when I think about the possibility of Hillary not being President. BO doesn't have a clue and we can't afford McCain. I get angry at the BO supporters. I really don't understand how anyone could vote for him or endorse him. I wish they would wake up! If your not apart of the SOLUTION then you a part of the problem.

First of all, let me thank you for putting together such an excellent forum. I came to this site because as a Hillary booster since 1992, I wanted to share my 75 years of survival on this planet with many like minded citizens.
I suppose I have always supported Democratic ideals, and can remember listening to many older friends of my parents during the late 1930, talk with reverence about Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was the tail end of the depression and we struggled like everyone else.
I learned as I grew older, that the principals of the democratic party not only helped this country but we enjoyed a great leader who in my opinion was one of, if not the greatest president of his time.
I have always defended the core set of values as put forth by our party. They are all inclusive and start from the bottom up. I know that many in the opposite camp seem to think that we are socialists, but I don't buy into that mantra at all.
We have a chance to elect a person who can articulate those core values and has show that she can work across the isle to get things done. Mostly because of the imbalance of the house and senate that favored the Rebubs.
Now, we have a chance to have a smart, intellegent, proven leader in the highest office in the land. That person just happens to be a woman. You know, the same gender as our mothers, the same gender as the smart class member that we dummies use to seek help from so that we might get a passing grade in school. She is a strong woman, who not only seeks the highest office in the land but revels in the task at hand. She has so many good ideas that she wants for us that I for one would almost be derelict in my duty to not do all that is within my power to make sure that Hillary becomes the 44th President of the United States. This dummy is seeking help once again and I know she can deliver.

Awesome! Welcome!! Were you sort of falling out of love with Obama or what was it really that made you "drift" away from NOBama?
At first, I though Obama was inspirational. He is a brilliant speaker, but when you look deeper into his speeches, what are they gonna do for America? He claims that people need a president that they can believe in, but so far he hasn't shown to me that he would be capable of being that kind of president. My problem is that too many people have been Obamatized by this amazing orator and not enough people actually look into what he's saying. What I'm seeing is that Obama is more about his speech and himself, and I strongly doubt he will be able to deliver his promises.
Ps- Thanks for all the welcomes everyone. This is a very nice community, and I hope we'll grow immensely!

I started blogging after the first super Tuesday, when I realized that Hillary was facing an uphill battle with the media. Surprisingly, their unwavering bias in covering the election just plain angered me into looking elsewhere for information. When you are a political news junkie, you quickly tire of the same old coverage. I started blogging for Hillary and felt that I had to fight for her, as well as for myself. A biased media can do just as much harm in a democracy as it can in spreading propaganda in communism. I felt our freedom of information was at stake, so I started heading to the net, and now, I mainly look for information that I can digest by myself, for myself. No one will be spoon feeding me their selected news.
That's what brings me to this forum; I started out at the Hillary Clinton site, but their blog site keeps breaking down. So, here I am!

During the 1980s I lived in North Louisiana and had a lot of news broadcast into the state from Arkansas. It was then that I began to admire both Bill and Hillary Clinton. I see the Clintons as really good public servants. They are people who really care about making life better for the rest of us. I came to this site after reaching the ultimate frustration level during this campaign. The media has been against Hillary since day one, especially MSNBC. I no longer can watch that network due to its bias. If you are critical of Obama in any way, all of a sudden you are a racist. I have come to really dislike his most ardent supporters. We have got to get this nomination. I am so worried as to what will happen if we don't. I know I could not vote for Obama. I worry more about what it would mean for our nation if he won the presidency. I worry about the direction of the Democratic Party. I am so frustrated. I am so glad this site is out here. I am sorry I did not find it sooner. Thanks, Murray.

I joined the forum today. I am excited about it, I guess. I have to admit that I had almost given up on the Clinton campaign. The reason: I know this may sound funny, but I feel as though for some reason unbeknownst to me, I was shut out of the conversation on the Hillary Clinton website blog. NOTHING I would draft to post would ever post. Did or does anyone welse find that to be a problem? I really feel insulted by it, considering all of the money and time that I have contributed to the campaign. Hopefully, this is a more accomodating site.

Your contribution to our discussions will be most appreciated. No-one really knows for sure why the blog system at Hillary's site was shut down - but many suspect it was so infected by anti-Hillary, pro-Obama trolls that there wasn't much else they could do but to close it town. Regardless, we have independently created a new home here so don't give up and continue to participate!

I found this site from googling "hillary clinton" :D
I am sticking around because I love the idea of people sharing what they know and trying to develop their ideas as a group.
Also, John McCain will be an unmitigated disaster as president.
This I know.
We all need to get organized and prepare for the general.

I came here from a political message board that had a rule. The rule was they would not endorse any candidate.......now they have an Obama logo. When you change the rules to suit your candidate....you loose some respect. While I still like the site and still have respect for the Administrator there I found it a little like showing the middle finger to the Clinton supporters.

Like so many of the people on this forum it's been such a media roller coaster lately. The hypocrisy and injustice of the dialogue on Hillary and the total lack of questioning of Obama is maddening. But most of all on this forum I found I am not alone. When you see a panel on Hardball of all Obama supporters crucifying everything Hillary and justifying anything Obama I feel trapped in an alternate universe. Screaming at the TV I wonder how many more people are seeing it the way I do. So coming here is like coming home. Thanks.

Eridon: you certainly gave the complete reason for the MSNBC attack on Hillary. In response to recent Olberman attacks, I just posted emails for the powers that be at NBC and included GE as the owner of MSNBC. Wow - wasn't aware Hillary voted to block the energy bill. No wonder they are going after her.

Glad Indiana is a primary state. I think the only caucuses left are PR and Guam. And I heard - hopefully so that PR has changed to a primary??? Murray what do you know about that????
Glad your Senator Evan Bayh has endorsed Hillary! Hope the independents and cross over Republicans will think twice about pulling the lever for BO. What is the mood with them????

I love this site. So nice to hear people who feel the same as myself. I am on the official site often, and just need more. I am so involved in this campaign my husband thinks I have lost my mind. Thanks Hosts for the site and its administration.
I had an epiphany today. I took my grandkids to the new Seuss movie. The evil character in the movie is a shrill woman kangaroo, she is devious, mean, and of course cuniving. Sounded just like the portrayel by the media of Hillary. Folks this steotypical image of women, is so engraned in our society most don't even know it when it is right in front of there face. The media does not get it, and they don't want to believe it either, so they just intensify their disdain for our candidate, as if she is responsible for the flack they are taking. The human response when pushed is to push back, and that is what they are doing.

I was on staff at another political/news website, and it became an Obamaniac bash Hillary sewer. It was so polluted with vicious, scurrilous anti-Hillary propaganda, I'd have to stay away for days at a time just to get away from the stench.
I quit, and someone I knew from there recommended this website.:)

I joined the forum so that I could be with others who support Hillary. I have already signed up to work for fher in Indiana and I can't wait to do that. For once, my vote in Indiana means something.
Welcome to like-minded supporters of Hillary Clinton!

Welcome. :)
You don't have to answer but did that site have initials DU ?!?
Thanks!:)
Nope, but that place is an Oba-dump too. It's http://www.politicalgroove.com/
The last straw was when the Admin./owner decided to endorse Obama on behalf of the site. In the big wide world an endorsement from that tiny, insignificant site is pretty meaningless, except to those of us there who are pro-Hillary, and the conservatives there he claimed to want to recruit. I still respect the guy a lot, but he's got the Oba-virus BAD.
Thanks!:)

Oh, that one, we've taken in a couple of pro-Hillary refugees from that site now! Happy to provide a safe haven here! DU is also a literal war zone and dangerous for any Hillary supporter!

Yeah, I've peaked in on DU several times over the years. It was pretty brutal before this election started, now it's real horror show. They scare me!:D
And thanks for this site. I was, I guess you'd say, one of the founding members of that site. A large number of us migrated there when Bill Maher's Safesearching site crashed, and we never went back. It's really disappointing to see so many people you know and respect go coo coo for Oba-cocoa puffs. I just couldn't take it anymore.

#1 - PO'd at mainstream media, except FOX, for their horrendous, biased coverage of this primary.
#2 - Appalled that so many people are behind such a lying, inexperienced, phony .. candidate.
So, I started surfing and posting and ended up at this forum which is a tremendous resource.

While I have posted on the Hillaryclinton.com site, I do enjoy the freedom, within reason, of being able to post my feelings on the myriad of subjects involving Hillary! Besides, it is a personal education for me, as my educational background is a GED level high school certificate. Many on this site are very very articulate and I respect and admire their opinions very much. I am here to support Hillary, and to do what I can to make sure that she becomes the 44th president of the United States.:)

The buzz is hot surrounding the forum and it is a great outlet and gathering place for those who see clearly as well as, hear intelligently that Hillary is indeed the best choice for President. Also, I was elated to receive an invite by Murray to come over and share maybe some of my insightful thoughts. Thanks Murray this is great!

Hi you guys, I'm new. I just recently discovered this forum. I actually never really cared for politics but this election got me interested because of the fact that a woman and a black man(at least half), is running for president. In January I was pretty neutral, but the more I watch the news and see the newspapers/blogs I started to see a pattern of bias against Hillary. I have been noticing it since January. I keep hearing "Hillary is too tough, she needs to soften up." Then when she got emotional, then many people said that she is a weak woman, and presidents shouldn't cry. That ticked me off because it's a double-edge sword, and the either way, the media and people will hate her. Then I realized that Obama was using the race card in SC. What Hillary said about LBJ was NOT racist. At the debates, I also noticed that most of Barack's questions were soft ball questions, and then the tougher questions were asked to Hillary. When Hillary answers first, I also noticed how Barack copies everything she says. That's when I started to hate Barack. Then I researched his supposed "clean" records and all I found was scandals/lies. So now I am pro Hillary and hope that she will win.

Reading your post made me smile .. I've been saying all those things too .. glad to see others who have seen through the fraud ...
that's what brought me here .. sick & tired of how all my fav news sites have drank the obama koolaid ... and no one wants to know the TRUE Facts behind everything ... needed to be around people who felt like me & know that Hillary will make one hell of a President !!!

When I was in the military I was totally against Bill Clinton as my president but that was because under Democrats the military is usually downsized. I was also critical of his behavior in his marriage. I got over all that. I had to forgive Bill because I forgave my Dad who was a womanizer. After meeting Bill Clinton, hearing him speak and shaking his hand...I know what I missed by not supporting him.
I have however always admired Hillary Clinton. I admired her for standing by her man and working out their problems. I even read her books. I truly thought she was one of the best first ladies we ever had. She did so much to define the position of First Lady.
I watched her as a Senator. I watched what she did for the people of New York post 9/11. I am impressed by her committment to veterans everywhere. Her committment to families is incredible. I find her strength just incredible. I know she cares about all people everywhere. That is why I am here. I am glad I found your forum.

Well, first of all I wanted to read comments that made sense to me - the garbage spewed in some of the other blogs made me sick! People are so brave when they are hidden behind a computer screen, spewing their hateful, at times ignorant, crap (crap was the only word that came to mind then, sorry). Anyway, another reason is that on HillaryClinton.com posting is a hit and miss thing! Not that I think I have the most intelligent posts, but it would be nice to see more than 1 in 30 show up! I have admired Hillary since the White House/Lewinsky days - if ever a woman showed her strength and determination, to me, it was then! She refused to the let repugs tear her down - and I'm sure she would have loved to have just hauled off and sent Bill into oblivion. But she hung tough and proud. The repugs couldn't get Bill on his record, so they had to go after his family - that to me was WRONG! They should all be ashamed of themselves! Finally, when I saw that you refused to let the pro-Obama people in here I was sold! I may not post a lot, but I read and enjoy! Thanks for putting this all together and giving me and other Hillary fans a decent, safe place to be.

This is what brings me to the forum. I voted for Bill Clinton (am very proud to say so) twice. Hillary really has the experience and longevity on the world stage to deal with the problems she will face as president. Back in the 90's we had some good years economically. Bush reversed that and has done so much damage which the next president will need to clean up. She is the only one who can.
I browsed some places, including Obama's (and heard a lot of raving rhetoric). I like being able to express my opinion and not apologize for supporting Hillary. I have waited since Bill Clinton left office in 2001 to support this woman for president. Her time has come; her opponent is a "baby" in the scope of job he is asking us to elect him to. I just hope she will prevail
By the way, I reside in Indiana, and she is coming to my town tomorrow, Evansville, IN!!!!

What brings me to Hillary's forum?
Hmmm, Hillary Clinton, President 2008.
When I was a medical student I heard hillary's speech and I made up my mind there and there that this woman is not a common woman, she is a born global leader who is born in generations.
Hillary is the best thing that has happened to America and to this Globe, where global economy is in it's prime recession and we truly need a true and genuine leader to solve our current issues.
Hillary is a movement, Hillary is an ideology, Hillary is a phenomena, Hillary is change and Hillary is the hope.
we badly need a messiah in the form of Hillary who could put ointment on our wounds......

A link in a Pro Hillary group, on a womens community.. Of course the democratic group is Pro Obama. I have tried to find PRO HILLARY sites all over the web. I reply on Taylor Marsh and NO Quarter..
I would just like to be somewhere on the web where I am not getting called names.. Names that if they said them to my face, I would be bitch slapping for long periods of time. And the young disrespectful freaks, grrr..
My *(oldest son)* is a O supporter. His debating skills arent as good as mine. But at least he is respectful. And will vote for the Democrat, even if its Hillary.. He told me Christmas morning women cant be Presidents.. I let him keep his Christmas presents. But at least he is leaning her way.

PGCSNYI,
I too, have been to many sites that just make me shake my head & wonder , what is going on??? .. How the people talk to us!! and the stupid msn keeps saying it is us ... find myself screaming at the TV alot & know I will be for awhile ...
I'm a news junkie .. clicking the Tv on in the morning is right after I get my first cup of coffee, lol .. but now, get to where I come on line .. thankful for this forum .. you've saved my sanity, lol
Back in the winter, my college daughter, liked Obama, but since she's watched how they attack every word that's uttered about Hillary .. she's changed her mine .. she talks with friends at work, where's she a Manager at an AMC theater here ... most are for Hillary & can see right thru Obama's false words ... makes me proud she's got some friends who haven't followed him so blindly as other ... but have learned to question everything ... think I did a good job with her, lol

I hope I can speak freely here, I am very careful other places to advocate for Hillary in a constructive manner.
I adress the issues from their perspectives, I am tired of the kid gloves used on this candidate who has been placed here with lack of experience and integrity.
It is so frustrating to see the 'natural' acceptance of BO as the dem candidate, as some fullfilment of a dream, when his church so clearly sees him prescribe to the words of HATE and perpetuating it in the young people, crippling them! Subscribing his allegiance to a mothercountry, not the US, so as not to place a hand over his heart, and wanting to be our commander in chief.
What arrogance, a comedy of errors!
And Howard Dean! What a creep! What power play is this dope entertaining? We all may lose in the end.
Help!!!

Downtown stage set up and 1 marching band from a University.Jam box for music connects to firetruck, inside mic and campaign theme song blasts via firetruck speakers. Clinton rides in firetruck with security to stage set up and speaks.Scheduling needs to be faxed and have tons of contact information.Wish us luck! We did it in NY and Atlanta downtown and had a blast! It's a lot to coordinate and that's what I did for a living in fashion for a designer and then went back to my major years later and returned to teaching.Currently, geering up for graduate school later in life! Got hooked on politics and this campaign for Clinton. It's a real first for me! Never dreamed you'd have me studing campaign laws and following CNN,and researching until the sun comes up! Has she won yet? Santa Crusin scared the daylights out of me when I first started!! Who grew up with all this computor business and not me! Spell check? We had to look up words in the dictionary.$2000.00 dollar lap top and I'm learning ! The FBI per NewsMax.com says they have threats going on with the innernet. Oh great! Whatever the firewall is,it's on and I called! Trolls? Worms? Let's get this NC going and saddle up to get it done! Do you think Clinton will jump in a firetruck? We gotta come up with something snappie for the marketing! Clinton stops the streets in NC and all the people voted and cheered her on to the White House! Headquarters is laughing!! Whatever, all the problems I've heard watching CNN following this election,we need a firetruck! Fun Promo and we're trying! We've got Lou Dobbs invited! Get the rest of the elected officials and make them team up! You're on the firetruck to solve problems in America too!! That Obama team's been saying,"fire it up and let's go." Look out,the Clinton team found a fire truck in NC! GO CLINTON!! Do we have the campaign theme song yet? We have AT&T on communications and I met her at the fax machine at Staples! That's why they call it the United States of America! We really can do it together! She runs the communication department for the company? Ya never know until ya try! Thank-you!

I am new to 24 cable news and blogs on Internet!! I joined this forum shortly after learning about the unbelievable bias against Hillary in the media and have now generally weaned myself off 24 hour cable news. Now my news comes from this forum and PBS and yes Murray I am getting less sleep since hooked on forum! I had recent surgery and now 2 month rehab gives me extra time to call through Hillary’s call center - Texas, Mississippi and now PA! My last active presidential primary campaigning was for Mo Udall in 1976 in Boston, MA. I see Hillary’s campaign as a hybrid with grassroots bloggers complimenting the traditional campaigning strategies! I think I have mentioned before how much I have been enjoying this site!

Nice to read something favorable toward the Clintons for a change! Thanks!
Especially liked this:
Clinton would want to characterize a Hillary vs. McCain debate as civil and respectful in this way precisely because the Obama campaign has been arguing strenuously that she is so divisive that in a general election, she'd rip the country apart. Bill might just have been saying, Hey, these senators like each other, so don't be worried about the general election. It'll be a civil debate.

I'm here because I'm frustrated with not being able to find a news outlet that is remotely fair to Senator Clinton. Every time I turn the channel they are praising Obama and constantly attacking Clinton by claiming she's attacking Obama. So I'm here to figure out how to get my voice heard.
I consider myself disenfranchised. In my state we have a closed primary and I left the Democratic Party in 2004 and turned green. So, I could not vote for Hillary.
But I plan on voting for her in the general election no matter what. If she is not the nominee, I will write her name in. One good thing about not being a part of the party, I don't have to tow the party line and vote Obama.

I found this website through a link from Hillary's offical website. It is extremely depressing and frustrating to watch the cable news networks (MSNBC & CNN) in their unabashed support for BO. I can hardly watch the news anymore. I live in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and am actively involved in the primary campaign. This forum gives me encouragement.
To find the truth. And I did!Not to feel alone in supporting Hillary.

Hopefully this forum is providing some comfort! Albeit small relief from the daily horrors of the massively powerful mainstream media!
I refuse to watch CNN/MSNBC anymore. I abandoned CNN around Feb 9. I only watch cable news IF I am informed Hillary is on NOW or if Fox is critiquing Obama. Otherwise, I refuse to watch TV news.
And glad that you feel encouraged by this forum! There are a million and one reasons to feel encouraged about Hillary's campaign too.

The time is now for all of us to stand up and truly "SHOW" our support for Hillary! As the media and others start calling for "Hillary" to quit the race, it's time for "ALL" Hillary supporters to not just raise our voices, but also "SHOW" our support for her... We can and must make a difference or it will be our own fault for not doing all that we can do to help get Hillary elected!
Although I respect the Democratic Party and it's rules, it's beginning to frustrate me and make me sad to hear people such as Speaker of the House Pelosi say that "Super Delegates" should vote the way "delegates" vote... If this was true, than the Democratic Party would not have Super Delegates.
If the Democratic Party did not want to have Super Delegates, than this is the discussion for the future and should be changed. However, let's not change the Democratic primary party rule since people are afraid that the party is becoming divided.
It's already a bit disturbing that both MI and FL's delgates will not be seated... I respect the democratic party for stating that they broke the rules, but than they should respect the role of the Super Delegate as well... My own party does not have the right to not be accountable and follow the rules... So they must stop their damaging words against the "Role of the Super Delegate" and discuss this off-line for future primaries... Changing the rules today is wrong and disturbing!
In fact, if people did not want Hillary to remain the race, than Obama would have taken Ohio or Texas... How sad that the day after she won Ohio and Texas the media stated that it didn't matter and she should quit.
Hillary supporters need to remain strong and more now than ever truly "SHOW" that we are behind Hillary 100% and that we don't want her to drop out!
Go Hillary!

I'm here because the campaign and election is the main thing I feel like talking about lately, and I'm tired of being shouted down by the Obama Fan Club.
I visit a lot of blogs which support Hillary Clinton, or at least don't mindlessly attack her and her supporters constantly, and want to share the information and insights I find there with people who may actually pay attention.

Thanks for your contribution thus far. Would be good also to tell us which blogs you visit so that other members can blog there as well if they are not already doing so.

Like others, I'm here because I am looking for a place to share with other Hillary supporters. I have become increasingly frustrated, to say the least, with mainstream media coverage of this primary. Living in Oregon, I won't have a chance to cast my vote for Hillary until May. But I've been supporting her by contributions and by talking to friends and acquaintances in an effort to counter the negatives onslaught by much of the media.

I had given up trying to have a discussion on the other blogs, the hate spewing out of the Obama supporters was more than I could deal with on a daily basis. Imagine all that hate lifting the next president up. I just keep praying each day that Hillary will find the way to get past them. I have been an admirer of hers since her Arkansas first lady days. She is being lifted up by the love of the people that support her, not by people that hate Obama. That is the difference. The difference in their churches, in their actions in their being. She really needs to win this. I contribute almost weekly and wish I didn't have to work so I could be more helpful. I will continue to pray for her and for all of you that are supporting her against all odds. She is a remarkable woman.

Pelosi is starting to piss me off...She is out of the limelight and so must feel a need to get back in the light. The star of the Senate is not used to being second fiddle..

I am so tired of voicing my concerns about BO and getting jumped on by foul-mouthed Obamaniacs.
Plus my husband wants nothing to do with political issues and I need to have folks with whom I can talk about them.
Thanks for being here!
BTW, Vivian from Newport, KY. I graduated Campbell County High School in 1967 and lived in Alexandria. Nice to see another Northern Kentuckian in here (I live in Las Vegas now.)

Hi everyone,
I've been looking around the net for somewhere that would fit a few different criteria:
I wanted somewhere that won't mind non-U.S support for Senator Clinton's Presidential Campaign. I am a New Zealander, and most groups I looked at on the internet for a Clinton supporter requires confirmation of the state you live in before you're allowed to register! (I also hope you won't mind my British English).
I needed somewhere for sensible discussion, so that I could speak openly without being bashed by the "other side." I've been doing my own little bit for Hillary, in her defence, by responding to around 500 questions on "Yahoo Answers" which are mainly designed by Obama supporters to bash her at every turn.
As someone who has been born and raised in the first country to give women the right to vote, and as a citizen of a nation that has had a woman Prime Minister in office for almost 10 years now, I know that there are surely endless possibilities for Hillary to flourish as the first woman President of the United States.
In stark contrast to what America now faces in 2008, we in New Zealand remember the economic prosperity ushered in by Hillary's husband, and the work President Clinton did on the world stage to uphold America's image abroad. We remember the relative stability that Bill worked hard to maintain around the world. I will always remember his presidency fondly, and I know that Hillary will work hard to repair Bush II's damage, as Bill did after Bush I.
As a non-citizen, the only help I can offer is limited to cyberspace for obvious reasons, although I am willing to do whatever I can in this capacity. I truly wish Senator Clinton all the best in her quest for the Oval Office, and look forward to corresponding with all like-minded individuals in this group!

I'm here because I wanted a place to discuss Hillary's campaign without being so closely monitored. It seems Hillary's website only wants "Hillary praise". I love Hillary and truly believe that she is the only candidate that can save us from the quagmire but I think we ought to be able to register an opinion about some of the campaign issues, of which there really are many. I'm sure we can offer some good advice or at least give feedback as members of the voting public. Or maybe we'll learn that we're wrong, and we'll certainly get alot of input to assist us in positive discussions with people who support other candidates.
So, I'm a "yellow dog" democrat since late 196o (I wanted Nixon but quickly learned to love JFK). I couldn't vote in 1960 but I watched the convention and routed for Nixon. Then I met my husband who was always a democrat (in a very Republican family). But this year I will not vote for Obama so it will have to be McCain and I pray Condi isn't the Veep ~ that will really make it hard. She seems to be an accomplished woman but I don't think she's done a good job in the last administration. Maybe she was misplaced?

brought me here. I read about it on TalkLeft, my favorite site. I'm a 53 year old woman. I live in Brooklyn. I was a supporter of Bill Clinton back in the 90's. I attended a rally in Union Square a few days before the 1992 GE where we were chanting "3 more days! 3 more days!" I believe, in Hillary's words, that it takes a Clinton to clean up after a Bush.
Hillary is my Senator. I've voted for her 2x but I didn't come to truly appreciate her until this election season. I went into it with an open mind. Watched all the debates and thought that the Dems had incredibly good candidates compared to the Republicans. Hillary was the best of all, which is what turned me to her after initially supporting Edwards. My feeling is that we need a STRONG Democratic President. Hillary has taken the slings and arrows of the MSM and she is still standing. She's my girl.

Hi,
I come here looking for a reprieve from the irrational Hillary hate in another "democratic" blog. The media bias against Hillary irritates me. I can't believe the level of disrespect that is shown to my senator and former first lady. I guess that's not too unusual for a female babyboomer. :o
It helps to have an alternate source of information and inspiration.

You know I have been with Hillary when I first heard rumblings that she would run and I did not care that Obama is a black male. I am a black male (28) and I think he would be a good vp.
But after seeing the media attack Hillary with every thing they have, I grew a zeal for Sen Clinton. She is who we need right now in the wh and I will do what I can.
I have been on Daily Kos, kicked off of course. Just google Gayront79 and you will see that I have been sounding the alarm about Obama for some time.

I live in the UK, have done for a bout 7 years now, just on a rollercoaster about how this primary is going. I was raised a Democrat in America, but holy smokes the last few years are sending me mental!! I absolutely cannot believe how happy at least half the Democratic party are to play by no rules at all, avoid the hard questions and BE MANIPULATED by the media. Do you have any Idea how many commercials you guys have compared to here?? They are trying to add more in the next few years but it's still much less than in the States.
Oh, I got kicked out of the Democratic Underground after a day. I was hoping to join a more generally Democratic Party type forum to try to campaign online for Hill amongst other Dems. Let's just say struck_dumb was struck dumb. :(

I just finally want the chance 2 chat w/ people who vote w/ their heads and hearts opposed 2 those who vote the way somebody else tells them 2. I have so many people in my life who are making huge mistakes by not voting for Hillary and they do not even know why. They hide behind skin color as the reason and some blind loyalty that I just can't get behind. I know come Nov. I don't want to feel that same sickening feeling that I felt in 2000 and 2004 when the president was announced.

I've been reading this forum and decided to join a few days ago. I had been posting comments on Huffpo since its beginning, and was very discouraged by the forces taking dominance there.
Then a few days back, the Obamaniacs had their way with me, and I was banned for no reason, (other than being an unrelenting Hillary supporter). It shocked me, because I very often stated my support for Obama, if Hillary was unsuccessful in her candicacy, but apparently, you have to be Anti-Hillary to be safe at Huffpo. A quick check of my nickname (johnsnakecusak) on Google will show that I was not using abusive language or the like.
I feel this forum is a more rational site on which to voice opinion, so here I am. :)
