As we all know Hillary is now having to campaign for the DNC. Whether you or I agree with it or not, we have to remember that Hillary is a fighter and I believe she will keep fighting in whatever capacity she serves. I for one miss her soooo much. I am starting this thread for people who want to express how much they miss Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and would like to express their love and appreciation for a well fought fight all the way to the end of the convention, and a new term for the NY Senator with a heart and fight as big as Texas :D.

I will always respect and support Hillary for everything she has done and for the great things she will continue to do as an NY Senator - her values and policies were the ones that would have done the greatest good for this country and are in line with mine. It is she who could have implemented change for the better in this country. No matter who wins now, we have suffered a great loss not having her as President.

Good thread, Starr :).

I thank Hillary for all of her efforts and hope to see her make a return in 2012. Although she may have "lost" the nomination (*coughs* it was stolen *coughs*), she still emerged as the winner.

Judging by the quality PUMA membership of this board, HRC must be doing something right to have such an outstanding base of support. Strictly on the merits.

I can appreciate that.

I honor Hillary for many things but tonight I honor her for her humanness. I have loved watching her grow as a person, candidate, and political leader.

Great thread!

great thread. No one will ever be able to inspire me like the Lady in the pant suit. I miss her so much but she will be back. I will never stop being her supporter. Hell I have been doing just that for over 16 years now.

Tonight I'll make a toast for Hillary for her courage under fire.

She showed me that even when everything is against me it is possible to summon up the courage to keep fighting for my goal. Giving up is not an option.

Thank you Hillary, you are my inspiration.

I'm still in nausiated disbelief at who is at the head of the Dem Ticket.

What could have been.

Yes, miss her being on the campaign trail...when she was campaigning for the presidency. And I miss the excitement of the primaries & Hillary WINNING! But I am content for her to lay low for now while Obama is out front - the less she has to do for him/DNC the better.

Hillary really inspired me to get into politics. Before this election, I voted, but I ran from everything else about politics. This election and her fight have taught me to be a better, informed voter and to never give up even when the people closest to you would like to see you fail. Thank you Hillary! :D

Hillary will do what she must and she is my idol and I support her.

She's dammed it she does, dammed if she doesn't.

She has to decide where to pick her fights. And that will mean doing some things I may not like, she may not like but in the end she will be around another day to fight for all of us.

Hillary became my hero as an "unconventional" First Lady who proudly told the Chinese that "women's rights are human rights", and she is still my hero today. She is a woman who stands strong in the face of relentless adversity because she is standing for what she believes in. She is a hard worker, a great mother and wife, and a true loyalist and patriot. Sen. Clinton has touched countless lives and I miss her inspiring victory speeches on the trail terribly. In my eyes, she will always be the winner of the 2008 Democratic primary election; she was elected but Obama was selected. :(

Hillary inspires me to go on when I hear the dogs barking to keep going. Sometimes that is very tough to do. I will keep going Hillary. I will keep fighting for freedom.

Dear Hillary, Thank you for teaching me to fight with dignity... and for teaching me that what is important is worth fighting for. Thanks. And this one is indeed for you and for the future of democracy in the US.

Thanks all for your comments. I don't want to ever lose touch with how much Hillary inspires me. There's so much I love about her, starting with her fighting spirit, her courage and her resilience. I don't know anyone who could have endured what she did during the primaries and come back again and again, not just to fight but to win.

She's the strongest person I've ever known, which I think may be why she has engendered as much fear as she has love. But this election cycle, even people who feared her started to see her for who she is, and that is such an excellent thing.

A Republican pundit surprised me by commenting on her convention speech and saying that she had become a remarkable candidate. He was clearly impressed, almost beyond his ability to express it, and I was deeply touched that someone who was probably one of the Hillary Haters had come to admire and respect her. It was very clear to me that she had inspired him too--and he was right to call her remarkable because what is more remarkable than that?
