What you didn’t hear from the Republicans at their convention is a single new idea about how to make the healthcare system work, get our economy moving for the middle class, or improve education.
You know, this is the kind of stuff that has held me as a Republican despite my Pro-Choice and other Democratic leanings in social issues.
Considering Michelle Obama makes $345,000 a year developing strategies for her Medical Service Employer that include "redirecting" poor people to "Local Clinics" to "better serve their needs," I'll pass on an Obama Healthcare Plan.
I think, as a Republican, that I would call Hillary Clinton - who spent the better part of 8 years in the White House fighting the systemic issues in Healthcare.
In the words of Rudy Giuliani:
"I have some advice for Senator Obama. Next time, call Hillary Clinton."
PS - I'll also pass on raising corporate taxes on my employer. I'd like to actually get a raise in the next 8 years. I happen to like those "Corporate Special Interests." They give me a job so I can buy stuff - like housing, food, clothes, etc.

Encarn, At the beginning of the campain, all my Republican friends, hated Hillary Clinton. Now they having nothing but respect for her. They may never vote for her, but she has their admiration now, which she did not before.
Obama did call Clinton and you what she said? -Don't overestimate what I can do for you, I'm sorta of busy campaigning for people who are running for the Senate who didn't stab me in the back.
Also, I too am worried about the raising of Corporate and payroll taxes. I haven't gotten a raise in two years.
