I'm a fellow Canadian that supports Hillary! I'm from Toronto Canada. :)
I'm a Filipino and currently doing my MBA in the island-state of Singapore. The democratic nomination contest is of particular interest to me due to the fact that I have a handful of relatives who are American citizens and I feel that the outcome of the election in November will have a huge impact on their lives.
Welcome Lek. The US election has world-wide significance and the result will affect people all over the world, wether they realize or not!

It would be great to hear about your experience at the caucus for those of us who have never been to one. There have been so many reports about people feeling pressured to cross camps and vote for Obama at these caucus events - did you see any evidence of that? There is a thread covering the Main caucus - would be great if you could post about your experience there (see link below):

I am the same as Joeysky except my brother is currently a UK soldier fighting in the WOT, serving in Iraq. I feel responsible to air his views, that this war must be ended in a safe withdrawal of the troops. Hillary supports that. Oliver gives his vote to Hillary because of this and more - even though we are English and cannot technically vote. I give her my support because it is the only thing I can do....she is one of the most fantastic candidate's America has ever seen I believe. I have been an ardent Hillary fan ever since I was a little girl and watched her in her role as First Lady. She tackles all the issues, and this also has a massive impact for the international relationship between the US and the UK. I am working hard on the web....but helpless apart from that.

It's funny, nearly everyone around me has already voted. I'm from NJ originally, South Jersey, and my entire family voted on Feb. 2nd and when I was still registered there the primary wasn't until June, I kinda missed out. But my entire family voted for Hillary. I lived in DC and MD for 7 years and they voted last week, so now that I'm registered in PA (I moved back to the Philly area two years ago), it's kinda like last but not least. And I just really want to vote for her so I'm hoping for that chance in April!

[I am pulling for hiliary all the way. I believe there is nothing wrong and much that is the truth with what senator Obama has to say, but what i feel he is lacking is that which Senator Clinton has and that is wisdom, experience, the ability to withstand adversity and see something through to the end, even when it has to seem that for even just an instance the world may have stopped. She has taken her hits and she has grown so much over the years that i have watched her, her intelligence withstanding. I believe that Senator Clinton knows what it takes to survive in this world and what the world needs to focus on to continue to be what it has been defined to be and that is the strongest goverment in the world and tha with Hilary Clinton in the Seat of Comander and Chief, she will govern wisely, she will listen to her advisors, discuss issues with the people and yes with her spouse because that is what all marriages do and then after she has weighed all, she as a women who has had to juggle many hats, daughter, wife, mother, first lady, senator, embassador, author and critic. Presidnet Hilary Clinton will then lead, and leave behind her a legacy for centuries to come, and when her terms of office are complete, Obama will be ready then to leadm with even more pasion and ability, skills he yes already has, but will have been cultivated by a strong president. Just my opinion, but thanks for the oppotunity

Hello I'm from Laredo, TX and she has my vote. I voted right away, there was no a thought or discussions on who I should vote for. I know I did the right thing. My parents voted for Hillary. I pray to GOD for her to win. I just really get annoyed when you stop and think about the fact that Hillary has to compete against this person who was a drug user. I wish there was something more we could do to help her win. I know my other sisters still need to vote so I’m doing my best to make them go out and cast their votes for Hillary. :D
I really admire Hillary Clinton, her experience and record. I'd love to be in her shoes, maybe one day.
VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON, she's the best!!

It's a pressure cooker now!
I am a veteran of several presidential campaigns. It's difficult to believe that in 2000, the Gore campaign only set up a skeleton financial office. And when I called for volunteer opportunities they did not know what locals could do to help the campaign get voters.
Wow, what a difference. Sometimes, I wonder am I even in the same state still.

........Me, you ask? I split residence between Chicago & Des Moines, caucused in Iowa. Our precinct had 9 delegates to distribute; despite clear attempts to keep things accurate, Obama ended up benefiting from the fractionals, thus "appeared" to win our precinct.
Overall, the country has MUCH more information & candidate exposure NOW to be able to Clearly make a decision. I attended the Iowa caucus open-minded but favoring Hillary; although initially uncommitted, I left as Clinton delegate moving onto the county vote on March 15, 2008.
All upcoming States: Vote with Conviction, Vote for Clinton!!!

I hear you. Welcome to the forum!
This nomination race must go all the way to the convention. ALL states should have a say. And those who seek to bring an early "end" to the process are simply seeking to cheat the public into believing UNTRUTHS!
Yes, vote wisely people, vote for Hillary!
PS - I like your avatar. Rememer that Hillary was the same age as Obama is now when she entered with the White House with Bill. Can you image if she had tried to run for president at that point in her life/career???!! And yet Obama gets away with it...and even more shocking, he does so against a clearly more qualified and politically sophisticated candidate (HRC).

If Hillary looses vote Mc Cain and take a vacation

The saying goes never test the depth of the water with both feet.
We are seeing it happening to Obama's bolshevik army the moonies.They. God help me if he is elected, will be in what you can just imagine the scene, millions with arss deep in without a naval experienced "captain" to rescue them. What a tragedy that would be.
He will be inheriting one of the worst economies we"ve ever had. The worst fear we've ever felt and the worst division we've ever known. This is not pessimism this is a reality check.
With all the mud set aside, the experience he desperately needs to guide his bolshevik army to shore he just does not
pocess. WHat's next?
He seems to enjoy rethoric by quoting past presidents.
and stealing campaign slogans from past militants
Like "si se puede", this alone is enough to make me want to puke.
I am not particularly fond of JFK. He dragged us to a war we mercifulessly lost. And remember the Bay of Pigs? He inherited from Eishenhower in which he found himself locked in. Darn if you do and darn if you don't. What did he do? other than sent Cuban Americans to fight Cubans. what a big mess that was.
what would he call Afghanistan or Iran? the Bay of Camels?
Poor Mc Cain I hope he can rise . I give him a lot of credit for trying to be a centrist which unfortunately for him made him loose a lot of GOP voters. Nevertheless he was a war hero and we should honor our soldiers plus he is a senior Senator.
He's got more to offer than Obama ever wil. That's how I see it. Obama is already working on blowing him off the race totally. You know the citizenship thingy.
I hope you keep me updated with real news from Canada.
I don't trust ours anymore. Belgium has the best. Do you know they announce the results of the French elections before the French Televisions? The french TV was doing a dramatic count down and the belgium TV already announced it 35 mn earlier. Who said politics is dull?
I"m here. The media is not bad actually except it is outdated.
I get it like a day or two later.
And speaking of the SNL I tried and my son tried to get it through the internet, but it is blocked. Humm! do I hear censure? Can ysomeone send me a link?
One request to the Canadian goverment should Obama win the election, would you guys be willing to give us millions of green cards so that we can all move and work in Canada for 4 years? we'll take Yukon territory or even Queen Elisabeth Islands. Anywhere but Obama's admistration. you'll jump from 37 mil to 137 mil of able working bodies for 4 years. A quick way to fix the Canadian birth rate too if nothiing else. I'm serious. I speak little French maybe I could go to Quebec and retire there. I love it. Hit for the border! Critisize Nafta this Eddy Amin!

Leadership is the question not Race
Mar 2, 2008
Obama with his psychology of persuasion
Our country will never have the Freedom we now take for granted. His motto is my way or the highway. He plays the race card very well. that is the only card he has in his hand.
OJ Simpson used it and walked. Nicole's blood is in his hands. I was hoping we will have a woman who will speak for victims like Nicole. victim of court rooms and silver tongued layers. I was hoping will habe a mother for once mother for all men as well as women. black white and the entire quilt to speak for us when we are hurt. I have hope it could still happen
Nicole Brown was practically described as a "wh" word in our courtrooms. It is not right.
I'll be be a ding dong if I'm gonna let someone tel me I'm unpatriotic because I'm not a Republican nor will I let someone accuse me of a racist of a Tom or what ever if I don't vote for Obama. And Senator Watson I'm with you girl don't let them intimidate you. If Senator Obama is allowing this to happen in his campaign These are signs made available to us by "human greed" that he is far from prepared . Far from a uniter and far from a protector and far from provider.
You say you are religious? What religion is that? That allows intimidation? Jesus is Love AND I don't profess to be religious.
Please bring your Bolchevic army and your narcissitic personality under control and start to have a clean Election before we call the UNTED NATIONS to settle our own Election.
"YOU CAN'T HOLD SOMEBODY DOWN WITHOUT STAYING DOWN WITH HIM"
Please feel free to read my other comments.

Secondly
The moo..ies are quite persuaded. It is difficult to reason with someone who was hammered time and time again with the idea that his leader is the only answer. A fallacy they are not willing to give up.
I would be leary about anyone who tries to tell me he is the answer to my problem without any proof to back it up.
But for his moo..ies the deed is done. For those of us who still have their had still "scr" on tight let's vote our conscience. and let's bring Stardom to our country first not to a single leader. A candidate is nothing more than a humble civil servant in my judment. And I hope it is in yours too. I am African born American citizen. and I know an Eddy Amin act alike when I see one. notice I did not say look alike because I don't give a duh about what color. My leader should look like any color. I just want him to be prepared for 2009 not 1969. Should I be worried about my country When Obama is on his World Concert Tour?
Duh right I would.

Hillary is a workalholic. Allow her the chance to prove it to you. She is our Margueret Thatcher and Angela Merkel all rolled into one. Or do you care about What Europe is up to now, with its 27 nations and 500 million people who would love no more than put us in second place? Is Obama ready to keep our dollar the currency of exchange? Or is it going to be the EURO in the in last heat of the currency Olympic race? ACT LOCALLY AND THINK GLOBALLY. There is a lot more at stake than meets the eye. Your vote is your last dollar don't gamble with in case you may need a ride home after you are stunned with the hope and dream speech and it is the only change you got.

I've been living in Los Angeles (Hollywood) for the last eight years, but I spent the first 34 years of my life in Philadelphia, PA-Conshohocken and South Philly!
Now that Clinton has mad the comeback we have all worked so hard for, I plan on going on home to Philly to help out on the campaign. We are NOT giving this nomination to Obama.

I'm Donna Devine , from Southern Oregon ( SW ) not far from the Redwoods and Pacific ocean. I am gearing up for the Oregon Primary ( 64 ) delegates and will really get to work then! ha!

Hi everyone! I'm from Maryland.
I grew up in NH and after their primary had a letter supporting Hillary published in the Concord Monitor (NH newspaper). Maybe you saw it posted it over on my Hillary blog, but that's gone now. That's okay, I hadn't been keeping up with it - have a new baby so things are a bit hectic. So glad I found this site - couldn't stand those trolls!!!

Hi, everyone! I'm glad to find this site!
As you probably can tell by my name, I live in NEW HAMPSHIRE!
I shook Hillary's hand last fall- what a thrill - and did some work for her headquarters before our primary. I'm especially proud that I convinced my husband and 18 year old son to vote for her (both had started to get a little caught up in "the wave") and that my son's first vote of his life was for HRC!

Here's another one from Arkansas!
I am from Little Rock, Arkansas where Hillary and her family spent many years when Bill was our governor - and also the birthplace of their daughter, Chelsea. I remember when Hillary was pregnant with Chelsea and at the time, people were wondering what the child's last name would be - Clinton or Rodham. This was due to the fact that Hillary's legal last name at the time was still Rodham even though they had been married for a long while. That's just a little bit of Hillary history for y'all guys :)
And yes! I voted for her.. and will again when November rolls around. It will be good to have the Clintons back in the White House.

Hi all!!!
Glad to be among friends!!! I am a big Hillary supporter, 34 yrs old married and living in Kew Gardens,NY. My wife is also a big Hillary supporter. Tuesday night after TX came in we almost cried, but our smiles were ear to ear. I have been focusing my efforts on combating the negative and false information being posted on various news site blogs about Hillary. I have been sensing a trend the last 2 days about Hillarys tax returns, personally I dont care about her returns I care about mine( lol) but the OBama supporters are really trying to stir it up; combat them with information form Hillary's fact hub on her website, if you need any pointers or have any questions email me at the address below.

I am also hoping to travel to PA one or two weekends in April for the primary, if anyone wants to oput a carpool together or knowsofone please email me at jabusso@aol.com Lets keep up our efforts to put HRC in the White House!!!

I think the site was shut down because O-Bore-ma trolls had invaded. Hillary site had faced a situation that if they banned those trolls, O-Blah-ma and his troll supporters will big mouth us on media that there is no speach and free dom on Hillary forum. However if we let them invading the site like that, it would impact our campaign negatively. I do understand that point. I was so disappointed and desperated for days losing tracks from all of you. However, I am so happy that I could find the way here and met with all of you again. Please spread this forum out as much as you can by requesting your friend to put this forum on their myspace, facebook, youtube, etc. Every time I post on other site, I put this forum on the foot note so Hillary supporters can find way to get here.

I am from Mississippi. There are several events for Hillary here currently, since our primary is coming up. Although MS is a red state (really red!), there seems to be some strong support of Hillary. However, the prevailing opinion here among democrats seems to be that the race may be close, but, given the demographics, Obama will win. He is advertising on the radio and television big time. Has former Gov. Ray Maybus doing some ads. There has been some criticism that he has not given MS the personal attention that Clinton has. Either Hillary or Bill will appear at a total of four events. Obama declined invitation to the J.H. Hammer dinner, a big dem event that Hillary attended. Reports are that she was extremely well received. An article in one of the state's largest news papers said that Obama needs to put in more "face time" if he wants to be taken seriously. He has said he will come to MS at least once before the election. No firm plans have been reported yet. WISH US LUCK. WE MAY BE FIGHTING AN UPHILL (no pun intended) BATTLE, BUT WE WILL BE FIGHTING LIKE HELL ALL THE WAY.

Hello, well my username kind of gives it away...but I am from Columbus Ohio. We love Hillary here!! I am hoping and praying that Mississippi and Wyoming really comes through and sees passed all of obama's empty speeches. We really need to turn up the heat on Howard Dean to allow Florida and Michigan delegates to be seated. That alone is so completely absurd to me. I think Obama is afraid that if they do count their votes, that he has lost the candidancy(sp??). I just don't see how the man can say he will unite the country. I don't see an ounce of unity within the party. Ohio is pulling for you Hillary !!!! You are the only one that can fix this country and bring us back to a better way of life.

Thanks for this "on the ground" report form Mississippi. It's nice to now Hillary is being well-received despite Obama's negative ads against her. If he does not show up before voting day I think that pretty much says how he feels about the place. Swamping the state with TV ads but can't be bothered to meet the real people. I hope Hillary does ok in this state.

Mississippi is very important to us!!!!!!!!! Please, let people know that Hillary may have less money for television ads but, she most certainly WILL do what's right for Mississippi! Bill and Hillary did far more for the gulf coast than Obama ever thought of doing after Katrina. She has a plan to protect the coastal areas too and will help with college tuition. Also, there is NO plan to make people pay for healthcare who cannot afford it!! Tell everyone in your email list that Obama has spread this utter misrepresentation of her plan!
His plan costs MORE and covers LESS people. How did he manage that???

Hello to all! I am from Georgetown Kentucky. For anyone who does not know where that is, it's a right above Lexington Kentucky.
I am so thankful for this web site. I have never been able to get one post posted on Hillary's web site. I tried several times to accept or meet challenges for money contributions but nothing was ever posted.
I am so happy to be here and loving our extended family!
Take care to all and remember to contribute all you can to support Hillary. She needs us as badly as we need her!

Kentucky here and new to all these exciting goings on. We gotta get Hillary elected.
Our primary is in May, and for once I hope we get to count. It is usually over by the time we actually get to vote. I have never ever been this passionate about an election and I am another one of those just older women that the media keeps talking about. She is just getting the older women, just getting the hispanics, just getting the common worker, yall know just what I'm talking about. Go Hillary!!!!

I know the Hill camp wants to keep the enthusiasm going. People donate more when they can communicate and support one another.
I would also like to know what is happening in that campaign office in Virginia.

Hi,
My name is Joyce and living in California! I am originally from Ohio, lived for a while in NV. I am estatic that all 3 of my states supported Hillary!
GO HILLARY
I'm Julianne. I live in Nevada. I'm from NJ and have also lived in NY, PA, and TX, and I'm also happy my states are all Hill Country!
I'm 52, and I'm the sole caretaker for my 42-yr-old brother, Johnny, who has Down syndrome. I'm a freelance editor and have worked in the NYC book-publishing industry since 1980, both in-house and, for the last bunch of years, as a freelancer.
I can't afford health insurance for myself. This, and every other issue that's important to me, will be remedied by Hillary when she makes it into office.
One last thing: THANK YOU to whoever got this bulletin board going. I've been begging for one on the main site. This is fantastic, and so are you, whoever you are!!!
VOTE MAMA, NOT OBAMA! :)

A big, happy THANK YOU to Texas and Ohio and Rhode Island !!
I think I already posted where I am from, but in case I have not..
I am from Wild and Wonderful, West Virginia.
I am located in the Huntington area. Our primary is May 13th so we have to begin getting things in order, while also helping our neighbors up in Pennsylvania. I will be calling, blogging, donating, and I would like to try and head up there to help on the ground.
Meanwhile, anyone in my area of WV who wants to start canvassing here, we will be getting a group together soon. WV has one senator and one congressman who have already declared their support for Obama , even tho in WV we poll 2:1 for Hillary.
What in the world is going on behind the political scene?

I'm so glad you're here!! I'm new in Nevada, and sometimes I really miss a NY-NJ point of view. I'd welcome your take on this: When I hear Obama harp on Hillary for her vote to authorize war powers, I get aggravated for a lot of reasons, but what ticks me off the most is that he wasn't privy to classified intelligence, nor was he standing in Hillary's shoes, as a senator from NY, representing her constituents on the U.S. Senate floor.
On 9/11, I was living directly across from Ground Zero, in Jersey City. The pier I was standing on shook when the Towers fell; I lost people I knew; my friends got sick from working the Bucket Brigade; we watched the fire smoulder for weeks on end as we breathed in the smell of death and debris; we volunteered as much as we could; and every time we rode the PATH trains or subway, we took a huge risk. The National Guard were posted on my block. I still jump when I hear a loud noise, and I have a cough that won't go away. And on and on... Across the region, we were all irrevocably altered.
Did I want Sen. Clinton to vote for the war powers authorization? No. Did I castigate her for it? No. Because to be fair to her, I must consider her unique standpoint in the matter as a representative of all of New York, which includes upstate. There was more support among the constituents for the use of force--even if ultimately misdirected--than against.
Were I in the senator's shoes, I might well have done the same thing. Better safe than dead?
I have no idea why people aren't thinking this through or why they believe that this one note in Sen. Obama's opus constitutes a tune. If his judgment were perfect and he were truly prescient, why didn't he foresee the trouble that disenfranchising voters in MI and FL would cause and speak up at the outset? And if he were a true agent of change, why didn't he run independent of any political party?
Sorry for running on and on. It's just that every time I hear this refrain from him about the war vote, it drives me nuts.

I'm from the GREAT state of OHIO!!!!!
My rural county voted 66% to 30% for Hillary.
There was quite a stir in my town on the Saturday before the Ohio primary when Hillary supporters did a "honk-and-wave".
Usually my county is ignored, so the townspeople were all abuzz with the campaigning.
The Clinton campaign did a fabulous job of campaigning in the Buckeye state. You can tell that they know Ohio!

Union, Kentucky is across the river from Indiana as well as Cincinnati. There I had a chance to work with an outstanding campaign staff AND I got to meet Hillary!
Once we win Pennsylvania, Indiana will be another critical contest. It's on the same day as the great southern state of North Carolina. These two states can combine to give us more delegates than even PA.
I hope all of the Cincinnati area volunteers and anyone else available will get a chance to go to Indiana and come to Kentucky to help the ground forces.
I look forward to meeting some of you!

i'm from new york city but spend a lot of the year in southwest alaska. oddly enough i met hillary for the 1st time in alaska and met mccain as well when both were in the state on an eco fact-finding trip. many alaska friends are voting democratic this year. they are obama crazy and seem primarily to be voting anti-war. there hasn't been a progressive tradition in alaska for many years and the new alska democrats are unrecognizable to me. they may go independent or republican next time around -- maybe even libertarian, a popular philosophy here. but LIBERALS these alaskans are not. When i think of hillary, i know what she stands for -- a long tradition of progressive thinking befinning with teddy roosevelt and all those socially concerned leaders who followed him. Hillary must prevail for the good of this country.

I live in Newark, New Jersey and since I live close to Pennsylvania I want to volunteer there. Is there a group of people who will be traveling from either New York or New Jersey to volunteer?

I remember back when Bill Clinton was first elected President.
Everyone was talking about Hillary not being a traditional First Lady.
Instead she wanted to get into policies and foreign and domestic affairs.
Boy was I resentful. I remember saying - we elected Bill Clinton as President not Hillary Clinton.
And Boy have I changed. I became smarter in my thinking and have come to appreciate strong women. And I think that means I have changed into a strong woman myself.
I know Hillary will make the best President there has ever been or ever will be.

I am from Michigan Born in Ohio and staying in PA so have interest and ties to all three states. I have worked in Politics since 1993 and started out in all three parties but cant stand republicans And their lies etc. now. The things I know about our government now will scare you and I will be educating people.
I started a yahoo group called hillarycycle as I saw a similar group for Obama on CNN. It is to donate signs and materials to hot states with primaries or request materials left over from parties, meetings, yard signs etc to show maximum support for Hillary. It’s a new group so please join and help me get it going.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hillarycycle/
I need yard signs etc to distribute here in Northwest PA. We are going to have to fight for her to win. Obama thinks he’s winning but I know Michigan did not support him and could of wrote in his name and chose not to.
I’m working for Hillary to win PA and we should not take it for granted that she will win there. Hillary is best suited for the Job And Healthcare will bring jobs back to America.
Sincerely
