Obama always talks about he poor hurting and American suffering.
That we should all be our brothers keeper, sisters keeper, that we should all take care of each other.. etc.
So what did he do with his additional tax cut?
Well he saved it and actually gave less to charity.
In 2002 Barack Obama made $259,394 dollars and gave .04% of that not even half of 1% to charity.

At least give some of that money back to all the community activism that you were a part of.
Seems a bit odd he spent all that time doing community activity work, yet didn't pitch in a dime after he became wealthy.
I just think thats a total disconnect from the time I saw his tax returns, that someone so liberal and so verbally active in promoting social change and progressive values, he so stingy with his own pocket book.

Also, I want to point out that he didn't give anything to the victims of september 11 or the red cross, which would show on his 2002 statements.
Also, even worse, according to the data analysis of more than 56,000 survey respondents from 1995-2005 found that 90 percent of donors give 2 percent or less of their pre-tax income to charities, including their churches. Americans who earn more than $150,000 on average gave about 2.2 percent of their income.
Obama gave .04% while the avg for people making 150k or more is 2.2%
No wonder he talks about change, because thats all he gives.. nothing more than a corporate fatcat in sheeps clothing.
When Obama made the big bucks from his book deal, who did he give that money to?
The Obamas made their church, Trinity United Church of Christ, one of the biggest beneficiaries of their philanthropy, donating $27,500.
You might be asking about Mccain.
In 2007, the Arizona senator reported $405,409 in total income and contributed $105,467, or 26 percent of his total income, to charity.
In 2006, Mr. McCain said he had $358,414 in total income and donated $64,695, or 18 percent of his total income, to charity.

Wow!
Well, McCain and Cindy are REALLY BIG on volunteering and helping out your community. So honestly this doesn't surprise me. But I DO like that, once again, it shows that McCain isn't full of BS so far!

When asked at the warren event about americas greatest downfall and what is rich.
BO: If you are making $150,000 a year or less as a family then you are middle class or you may be poor. … I would argue that if you are making more than $250,000 then you … are doing well. … If we believe in good schools, if we believe in good roads, if we want to make sure kids can go to college, if we don’t want to leave a mountain of debt for the next generation, then we’ve got to pay for these things. They don’t come free. And it is irresponsible … intergenerationally for us to … spend $10 billion a month [sic] on a war and not having a way to pay for it. That I think is unacceptable.

Now this speaks volumes! I literally don't personally know anyone who did not give something, and my associates make considerably less than the Obamas.
I'm trying to recall how much the Clintons' gave, which was mentioned several times at the time their tax records were made public (after Obama whined his ass off for weeks about this) but it was a goodly sum, as I recall. Thanks for this info Eddie3dfx

Clintons gave 10% of their salary and income to charity every year for the last 10+ years.

He's talking about the poor hurting? The money Obama has spent on this election is the most obscene amount of $ I've ever seen anyone spend. He's full of it.

Obama is all gloom and doom. I don't think Michelle and he ever thinks any good thoughts about America. They are always running it down and then blame everyone else for the failures. The government can not bail everyone out. I get the feeling that's all the Democrats want to do is spend, spend and then spend some more on special programs like the Welfare programs. We are already in debt and don't need to add more to it. I like the idea of McCain/Palin going in with the mindset to start cleaning up Washington, especially earmarks. Earmarks are killing good bills and need to stop. McCain is so against earmarks and will stop them. That alone is enough for me to vote for him!

Cindy McCain started a charity, Obama is his own charity.
By The way I have to ask, how much does a community Organizer make, and who pays them?

I have never even heard of a community organizer until Obama came on the scene. I wouldn't even know how to start to find out any answers about a Community Organizer. It just sounds lame to me. Maybe that's what Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton are considered as a Community Organizers. They are always organizing protests of one kind or another. :D

Obama always talks about the poor hurting and American suffering.
Reminds me of President Carter saying America is in a
great mailaise.
It was the start of Carter's downfall.
Nobody likes gloom and doom.
I much prefer Bill Clinton saying "There's nothing wrong with America
that can't be fixed by what is right with America"

That's a great quote. Thanks for sharing.
Of course Obama doesn't think well of America. We're talking about a guy who sat in a church that believes that America deserved the 9/11 attacks.

A large part of Obama's stingy donations went to Rev. Wrights "church".

He firmly believes the end justifies the means....and so he lies, cheats and pretends to be what he is not and never will be, to get power and to attain the leader of the free world position. He is good at helping himself.
But he is a faker, an imposter, a pretender ...playing a role on the political stage.
What you see is not what you'll get.
Hillary does not have to play a role, pretend or fake. She is a REAL PERSON that has walked the walk through the years. Her record is there for all to see, from the work she did in Arkansas to the effort to get health care for us, and her work in the senate.
John Mccain the same. His record of life and his works is all there for us to evaluate. The straight talk express has integrity and tells it like it is....and has a record of working across the isle.

He talks a lot but that's it. If he is so concern with the poor, then he should have just given the millions of dollars he spent for his "temple" to charities that helps the poor. Talk about hypocrisy.

Christians have a guide for tithing- it's 10%. (I am sure other religions do too, no cause for a religious debate- but Obama and Mccain are Christian)
It seems McCain really backs up his talk of "serving a greater cause than self" (which I love, btw)
I am emailing this info all around....

Ya, our brother's keeper. His brother is living in Africa, in a shack, living off less than a $1.50 a month. Liar
How many millions were spent on his coronation?
