I am done with this election . I am done with the media . How can the average man in the street get fair and unbalanced information on who to vote for . I so wish the election was tommorrow and America and the rest of the world will be done with Obama and his crew. I am seroiusly considering not watching any news programmes , not reading any newspapers until day of the elections . My ticket is McCain/Palin and nothing is going to change my mind.
I am so dissapointed with the democratic party . The have just blown a once in a life time opprtunity to inform all Americans that they are the party of fairness , no bias , no discrimination , peace and love for all . The hatred i see in Obama supporters for other Americans not supporting him disgusts me . Surely a man that instills so much hatred in his supporters is surely not right for America . What if he wins, what will be next

Maximuss, you are preaching to the choir here!! We were tired of this crap before Muzza even started this forum. That is how we all ended up here. But thank God we did,I think together we can somehow make adifference. We have to be dedicated to taking back this country, and for some of us,our party.
If,Obama wins,I fear this will be our last election and we are headed to a Dictatorship.Seriously.

Well, I certainly can sytmpathize with the election fatigue syndrome - I was sick of Obama and his butt-kissing MSM fans a year ago. They've been playing divisive politics as a campaign strategy, and it's demoralizing to watch. But there is only a little over a month left, they need to be stopped now before it's too late.

I have gone thru many fatigue cycles, the first one on 6/1. The trick is to pinch oneself back to reality. Dont wallow in it for more than a day.
Today, I got a mail from McCain and an email from Sarah Palin - both asking for donations. It just gave me a real jolt - this is real and they need $, they are working very hard. Both letters are very well written and very respectful.
While I cannot donate now, I can certainly make a bit more of my time and effort available to them.

I feel you. Sometimes, I don't even know why I bother to care, as it seems like people are hellbent on making Obama president at all costs. I guess I keep hoping that there is a chance that the Annointed One will experience a hefty fall soon. Right on his privileged face.

Max, don't watch anything besides Fox News and you might not get nauseated again. I used to get that feeling, but I'm careful about choosing my media and my friends nowadays. This forum, Fox, and the people I subscribe to on youtube are a far more reliable source than the Obama-worship media.

I'm sick and tired of all of it too. I just hope that many will have the sense in Nov. NOT to vote for him. I keep thinking with all the mess in the other countries people will want JM to handle these situations. The debates will help I'm sure. This election has many young people infatuated with him because he's cool. I have a nine year old grandson that loves his name and thinks he's cool:eek: He had said he didn't like Hillary because she was old, now he doesn't like JM because he's old:eek: This is crazy to say the least:( It's become the age of "coolness" I guess. I hate to see what happens to this country when the coolness wears off and the real problems are hitting these young people right in the face, wallet and careers. This is something that mom and dad can't fix:confused: The media sucks!!!

Tell your grandson that Sarah Palin is younger (and more attractive) than Barack Obama.
Perhaps have him watch that "Faith of my Fathers" T.V. movie about McCain's time as a P.O.W. and show him the French footage of him in the bed in Hanoi and the Swedish footage of him coming home. It could at least boost some familiarity points with McCain as a "hero". Particularly since your grandson is 9.
Somehow explain why Obama is more "scary" than "cool".

I want a middle of the road candidate. This should have been Hillary, but it will be McCain who will get my vote.

Why did I put a "Hillary supporter for McCain" bumper sticker on my truck today and the same yard sign in my front yard? Hillary. Why did I call my local JMc victory center in Palm Springs today to go down and volunteer? Hillary. And whofought the good fight against all that media adulation, money, dirty tricks, accusations and lies?? Hillary.

We continue to fight the good fight. We answer quetions with facts. We stand for fair treatment of women. My 8 year old nephew told his mother she should vote for Obama. He is only eight and this statement came after a day at school. Make sure you talk to your children about America and what it stands for. Have an open dialogue and find out when they come home who is talking to them and trying to influence them. Assure them that you love them and will take care of these issues. Let them be children, ease their fears and confusion. Give them a big hug and make cookies together even if they come frozen in a package. The time will be well spent.

Yes, me too! So discouraged, so exhausted by the struggle against the corrupt DNC, the slanted media; and my trying to help prevent an unqualified person to be president.
But I gathered myself up, took a shower and headed into town to pick up stickers and a yard sign.
One of the older fellows sitting in a chair at the campaign HQ with a buddy, said "Now don't put that sign upside down like some of the Democrats do" I said, "I am one of those Democrats or one who USED to be a Democrat, but no more" "Not any more" He said "You know, I've been hearing that same thing, a lot" Then the lady giving me my stickers and such asked, "If they would remove Biden and put Hillary on the ticket would you then vote for the ticket"? I shook my head and said softly and sadly "No, I wouldn't. She would not be able to do any good or accomplish anything in that capacity. And she's better than that".
They loaded me up with pens and stickers plus the yard sign.
I now have the sign in my front yard. A Hillary sticker on one side of my back car window and a McCain/Palin on the other side.
They also gave me a McCain/Palen sticker for my truck window. So I am good, no matter which vehicle I take.

Half of me wants it to be over already.
The other half wants to get in fight all the more.
But you know what? The things that you are talking about, they aren't going to end with the election. The Obama love is going to continue for a minimum of 4 years. The media won't turn on their anointed one. They will still candy coat and cover up all of his horrible decisions and mistakes. They will still lie about his critics, they will still mislead and deceive the American people.
You have to keep fighting. Freedom of the press is a bitch sometimes, but we can't throw in the towel, not until the fat lady sings. ;)
Keep talking to people, keep educating people, keep contesting the lies being circulated around you. It is the only way for us to defend the very fabric of our nation. If Obama, Pelosi and Reid are running the show then we will be in very, very serious trouble for 4 very, very long years.

Honestly, its all HGTV and Bravo now...I can no longer stomach any of the news networks. Fox is the least offensive but they have even dropped the ball, IMO. I never, EVER want to hear the words Barack and Obama, or see his ugly mug, ever again. I hope he and his communist regime is silenced for good on November 4. I'm doing all I can for McCain/Palin but I'm really tired of talking to uninformed people who tell me over and over "but his speeches are so inspiring and authentic" without knowing one iota of information about him, his connections, his plans for taxes, his lies, etc. They don't seem to care that his plans are straight from crazy town, they just love that he talks better than Bush. Yes, great qualification for Pres...he gives good speech, when assisted by a teleprompter.
So, yes, I'm also sick of this election. I just want it to be over, but I want it to end in a McCain win. So I keep going...

I could not agree more, and would like to add:
I am sick of not getting the complete story on either McCain or Obama from the legacy media -- they ditch the good for McCain and the bad from Obama, then serve the pap and propaganda as "balanced'.
I am sick of anything and everything that has to do with Michelle Obama.
I am sick of the mean-spirited, cruel, venal attacks on Sarah Palin and her family. Palin is a true American patriot who seems to be serving the people of Alaska admirably, and deserves a modicum of respect.
I am sick of the swinging polls, and the "independents" who seem to sway with the wind, with no apparent clue as to how the economy or the Constitution functions.
I am sick of race being trotted out as the primary reason a non-black voter would not chose "The One", with no mention that 90% of the black population are going to vote for Obama.
Yet, like sadie, I work so that Obama does not get elected.

I would suggest you read the local newspapers if you don't live in a big metro. All of the "national" newspapers have gone probama because they have no local constituency to keep them honest. Meanwhile the local newspapers generally have to present an unbiased view because they have both Dem and Repub subscribers that live in their locality and cannot afford to lose them.

You know, what bothers me the most is that you can't even get away from Obama when you're looking for entertainment, because entertainment shows, magazines, and celebrities are pushing him too! It is presumptuous in the extreme. It's not their place, they get lots of complaints, and then they just ignore them and continue, because they really don't give a damn about their audience.

Exactly my sentiment. I donated what I could today as a response to an email from Palin. I bought and put a McCain /Palin bumper sticker in my car , much to the disgust of some family members who voted for Hillary in the primaries but now think ANY Democrat is better than a Republican. This segment of the population , and there are many of them, worry me the most.
