Yes? No? Maybe?

Did you hear Pres. Bill on the View today. They asked him if Senator Hillary wanted to be VP and he said NO, but if she had been asked she would have done it out of duty. :( It made me sad.

That's what I thought, but it seems the Dems are floating the idea in a serious way to see if it would help Obama. I'd like them to see that it will not.
They just don't get that we won't condone corruption with our votes. We know BO's campaign cheated during the primaries. Many of us witnessed it firsthand at our respective caucuses, and others experienced intimidation at their respective polls. Not to mention all the crap pulled by ACORN and Obama's violation of the Logan Act, which is being ignored.

No Way, No How, NoObama. Never in this liftetime as long as he is anywhere on the ticket.
Funny, because I just had this discussion with my parents earlier today and I was telling them of the rumors. They are big Hillary and Bill Clinton fans and right now they are voting McCain (It took me weeks to convince them not to stay home on election day). Anyway, they both said that after all the BS that BO has been dishing out, he could be the only candidate on the ballet and they still would not vote for him.

Not likely to happen, but of course if Obama and Biden do not do stellar in the debates then I would think all bets are off.
No doubt about it people if that were to happen it would be the game changer the Democrats need right about now. We will have to see what transpires during the debates.

No, I will not vote for Obama at the top of the ticket, and I think he is mistreating Biden as it is. When Biden made his complimentary remarks about Hillary being a better VP choice, I thought it was a little cry for help, like, "Get me out of here!"

The deadlines for altering ballots has PASSED for most states.
If Obama was to drop Bidden the votes for Dem ticket, any ticket would be invalid. Could you imagine CA (not sure their deadline) going to McCain by default.
There is literally 0% (not even 0.000000000000000000000000000000001%) of this happening.
If there was a chance it was a very very small window and it has long since past.
If they did this and people found out the ticket was invalid they would stay home. Could you imagine the Rep picking up 30 seats in senate from a state where Dem turnout was 30% of expected? Neither can the DNC.
If Obama needs to replace Biden at this point he would need to kill him (most states have exceptions due to death of a candidate that prevents the ticket from being invalid). I don't think even Obama is going that far.

Absolutely NOT. I would not vote for Obama under any circumstances. I believe he is a great danger to this country and putting Hillary on the ticket would not change that one bit. In addition I can just imagine if something goes wrong, which it would, that Hillary would get the blame. Shifting the blame to someone else is how he operates, and it would be no different in an Obama/Clinton WH.
In addition it just promotes the idea that it's okay to put women in the second place position even if she is smarter and more experienced. I've seen that in business and I didn't like it then and I don't like it now.
I also think it's would be a very bad move for Hillary as she will really damage her reputation being on that ticket. It's bad enough that people I know keep telling me that if she is so good why is she supporting someone who is such a great danger to the country.
NO Obama ever for me and I really hope Hillary tells him to take a hike if it should come to that.

I don't think even Obama is going that far.
At this point, I put nothing past him. He will do anything to win, no matter if he cheats, steals, lies, or replaces a VP candidate. The DNC will either change the rules for him or just let it fly.
I would not at all be surprised if he threw Biden under his gigantic bus, if there's even room under it;)

I would NEVER in life vote for that. First he cheats his way to the top giving her the finger and shaking her off his sholder the whole way. Then he picks a VP and doesn't even vet Hillary. Now that MAC has Palin, he wants Hillary so the women will come back to him....supposedly. I say screw that. Yeah! I totally agree.
But there is a precedent for dumping one VP & selecting another. In the 1972 presidential election, George McGovern named as his VP pick Senator Thomas Eagleton. Then it came out that Eagleton had once undergone electro-shock treatments for depression. Calls came in from Party leaders to get Eagleton off the ticket. Senator McGovern famously said he was behind Eagleton 1,000 percent. The next day McGovern dumped Eagleton, replacing him with Sargent Shriver.
In November, 1972, McGovern lost 49 states. :D

If Obama wins, he will want to run a second time. The Democrat party will likely give him the nomination - usually a sitting president gets the nomination of the party. That would put Hillary's next run too far away. Its better for Hillary if she is in position to run in 2012.
