"If Obama loses a close election -- one in which even one state where you could have made a difference goes for McCain because you sat home and pouted -- it will be on you. We will remember that you couldn't be bothered to rise above your petty resentments for something as trivial as saving your country from the enemies of everything you profess to believe in. We forgave you for Monica, Bill, but we won't forgive you for this."

An Obama loss will most certainly be part of your legacy.

So......Bill's a has-been and yet the entire fate of the free world rests on his shoulders and a presidential candidate no longer has to win an election based on that candidate's own record and elective qualities.

They're smelling the loss and preparing the blame. Not sure that Bill Clinton's pouting, but Barrack Obama is throwing a full-fledged temper tantrum.

Wow.

They really need to move on and man up.

Obama can't win without Bill's help? Can't handle that job on his own? And they admit this? Out loud?

That's really pathetic.

Yes, they do admit it out loud, and the fact they do admit it out loud is also Bill's fault and Hillary's fault.

What total BS.

More the point, it shows how WEAK a candidate Obama is that his supporters embarressingly concede that he can only win if others get out there and do his job for him. Not a great thing to highlight or concede!

Winning is Obama's responsibility. No-one else's. If he loses, the responsibility for that loss falls on Obama's shoulders. End of story.

Hillary 2012.

Dear Mr. Slansky,

Your candidate will LOSE because he is an ego-maniacal, globalist, anti-American, Alinsky/communist-loving, Marxist practicing, ultra left wing elitist hand maiden, that wants to turn our beloved country into a socialist, feudalistic police state, and would sell out our sovereignty in a heartbeat - NOT because Bill Clinton stayed home a few days!

Any red-blooded American can see that!

Oh I posted a comment for once let's see if they accept it!

I'm going to do what John Kerry's wife did and tell the HuffPo to, "Shove it!"

I'm so sick of them passing the blame onto everyone but the two people who are actually running for the presidency. The last time I checked Barack was running not Bill, and certainly not Hillary. And also if I remember correctly the HuffPo has done nothing but trash the Clintons since the day Hillary said she was running for the presidency. All you Obama supporters have called the Clintons has-beens, and corrupt and everything else, now all of a sudden everything rests on them to save poor little Obama? You wanted the Clintons to disappear off the face of the earth, and guess what they sucked it up and are doing what they need to do for Obama. Yeah Hillary has gone and campaigned for Obama and done fundraisers. Bill is going to do those same things next week once he's done with his job.

If Obama loses it's because he wasn't good enough. Don't put the blame on Hillary, Bill, The republicans, his race, or anything other stupid superficial thing. Bill Clinton is a former president he doesn't have to do a damn thing for anyone if he doesn't want to.

I can't wait for this damn election to be over and for these people to grow the hell up and start acting like the responsible adults they claim they are.

Take your own advice and GET OVER IT!

I posted a comment (let's see if they put it up, and what the responses are) that Bill's an ex-Pres, and no one has any hold over him. Also, I noted that if Obama can't win without Bill, then his base must be less than he thought.

I'll be interested to see A) if Huffpost even posts it, and B) what the little crazies post in reply

HuffyPuffy is a hate site and I won't go there. If BO loses, and there's a good chance he will, it'll be on him alone. He's unqualified and illegitimate. Hillary would have won so blame should go directly to the DNC and specifically to Donna Brazile.

More HuffPo threats? LOL!

There's still time to fix it. How about this for an October surprise? Bill Clinton gets on the road and spends every day until the election sincerely and wholeheartedly communicating the urgency of electing Obama. You're the greatest politician of your generation, Bill. Surely you can fake enthusiasm for a month.

Why should he? Because your kool-aid brain tells you Obama must "save the world?" Bill Clinton is "corrupt," remember? He wouldn't release his library donors names during a primary he wasn't running in, and you guys are p*ssed, remember? Former President Clinton made "racists" remarks in SC and tried to damage The One, remember? You HATE his wife, remember? He called the Messiahs position on his opposition to the war a "fairy tale," remember that? How dare he?!? You Bots don't need Bill; you already decided this a long time ago. Sorry, but there are no "do overs" in politics.

If Bill spent all day, every day, with huge blue pom-poms, chanting BO at the top of his lungs, obots and BO would still blame Bill for his loss.

This is why the Clinton's should of went on a long vacation and not entangled themselves with BO. All their efforts will make no difference. They will get the whole blame regardless. Why? Because nothing is ever BO's fault! He takes no responsibility for any of his failings.

The only thing the Clinton's did campaigning for BO, was set themselves up as the scapegoat and ruin their own political careers. BO did this intentionally. Out of jealousy, resentment, whatever. BO set it up for them to take the fall. He wants to make sure Hillary never sees the inside of the white house, especially if he is denied that priviledge. That would be proof positive that Hillary was the best choice. That Hillary was more capable than him. BO must stop that so he is making enemies for her and destroying her reputation. He knows his bots will never vote for Hillary. Hillary made huge progress with repubs and indys which is being eroded. BO is doing this ON PURPOSE!

shadow
09-23-2008, 09:09 PM
Could they get any more pathetic? Bo needs the Clintons to save him? The same Clintons who were evil incarnates during the primaries? I like to think the Clintons are privately laughing their asses off. :D

No one owes Barack Obama Anything! Obama has no position or history on the national political scene. If after over one year Barack Obama can not get votes on his own then there is no one to blame but Barack Obama himself.

We are not voting for Bill, It is long since time that Obama and his supporters atand up on thier own, or are they incapable.

You are in the kitchen now so get used to the heat.

You guys have the MSM on your side, All those multi billionaires, celebrities, paid delegates and still can't close the deal well the answer is found by looking inward and not out to place blame.

What a bunch of WHINERS! They kept saying the Clintons were old news and and Obama was the new???? What happened???? Huh? I don't understand??? How could Obama need help from the lowly has been Clintons???? Surely they must be mistaken!

Maybe they should have thought about this before they trashed Hillary on a daily basis.

I don't go to that site anymore. Every time we go there it gives them more ad money. I would rather avoid them all together.

Ah, they posted it:

The fact is, Bill's a former President. Absolutely no one, not even Hillary, can make him say something if he doesn't want to. No one has any hold over him anymore, as he's been there and done that. Trying to make a former President do something he doesn't want to is like trying to force the tide to run the other way.

If Barack Obama can't win without Bill campaigning for him, then maybe his base isn't as broad as he thought. It's a free country, and Bill Clinton can respect whoever he wants.

I'll be interested to see if any of them will reply to it. I think they do lose sight of the fact that you can't push a former President to do *anything*. He's already seen the worst that anyone can throw at him, and he's pretty much immune to stuff.

When you have to "BEG" someone to campaign for you, wouldn't you think a reasonable
person would wonder WHY they have to beg? Bill & Hillary can not or won't be seen as traitors to the Dem party (I would have told them to kiss something a long time ago.) They have done more than anyone should ever have expected given that Obama is so far out of their league it is pitiful and THEY KNOW he is out of their league and beneath contempt.

So if you want to blame someone, blame me...white, female, rural, gun-totin, and BITTER...you bet, bitter that the whole primary process was contaminated and illegitimate. Bitter, that the candidate who garnered the most votes was told to quit the race three months from the end of the primary season. Bitter that delegates and Superdelegates were either A.) Bribed B.) Co-erced C.) Threatened and E.) bludgeoned into supporting a fraud.

You can blame me all you want...heap it on...tell the press...shout it from the highest building but don't blame the Clintons. When you have to go begging, remember, beggars can't be choosers and that leaves Mr. Obama with not one bitch.

after allowing media sexist trash against Hillary and never saying a word against it,
after cheating in caucus states, after denying a real roll call to take place, after never vetting her as a VP possibility, after being awarded Michigan delegates even though his name was not on the ballot, after all the corruption, lies, fraud, and arrogance.........after Hillary has campaigned for his ass and Bill spoke at the convention on his behalf...............he wants to blame Bill?

How about blaming the candidate instead of the clintons or racism. I can't wait for jack cafferty to blog about this story tomorrow.. It'll be, "Do you think the clinton's are over it?"... I actually think hes already done that one.

It's their own fault.

I say this as a conservative and someone who probably would have supported McCain either way:

If Hillary Clinton would have been the nominee then the election wouldn't even be close right now. Bush has left the Republican party with an unpopular war and an economy on the brink of collapse. The Democrats should automatically win. Now it's true that McCain would have been able to say "I'm not Bush" and he would have been right, but if the Democrats had put Hillary up for the job then a lot of Americans would have flocked to her.

The problem for Obama is that I don't believe people trust him to get us out of this mess. With Hillary, I think a helluva more people would have trusted her.

He also said he likes what he is doing with his foundation work and the only reason he was on the campaign was because he was there for Hillary. Good for him.

I find it comical that obama supporters one minute hate the clintons, next minute love them, next minute hate them. in fact, they do this all day long with anyone who is not ga ga goo goo over BO. The most disloyal bunch i've ever seen. Not worried about you guys winning anything - you will eat your own if you need to. Ha!

And I am not done."The enemies Bill has tried to rise above"??? Give me an effing break! These people are fellow Americans, not enemies.Adversaries, but not enemies.Enemies come from Iran,Cuba,Russia, China and the Middle East. All those countries with leaders Barack wants to have a cozy tea with. This man has not a clue one about foreign policy and you want to hang his loss on the best foreign policy leader this country has ever, ever had??? What freaking planet were you spawned on???

You got it, Mary. The freak was hatched.
