View Full Version : MSNBC, David Schuster, Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann have hit an all time low.

I have never witnessed back to back sociopathic lying as these two clowns. I believe they are effective however in the manner in which they are lying and misleading.

I don't know what can be done about it. Not watching means you already know how evil these two are. Those who remain watching and don't bother getting opposing viewpoints can easily be led astray by these two.

Schuster took over Hard Ball today and was so awful I actually almost missed Matthews.

What the hell did they do now??Nothing surprises me.

You will all find it a funny kwinky dink that my Obama voting b.f.went to High School with and was very good friends with Rachel Maddow.

Did anybody here know she is a Rhodes Scholar?? What a waste.
According to my b.f.'s mother, she was the first female openly gay Rhodes Scholar.Just a bit of trivia on a bot,if anyone cares!

F_ck 'em. Don't watch and don't react, that's what they want. Like a two year old throwing a tantrum.

No one tunes in to their joke network, anyways, except for the Daily Kos crowd. Which is, of course, why The Embarrassment Known as Olbermann blogs there, to prime the pump.

What the hell did they do now??Nothing surprises me.....

What they are doing is expressing their opinions as fact.

Maddow had to fill time on her show and had Olbermann on. I have never witnessed so much dead air space masquerading as thoughtful analysis. Shuster took over for Chris Matthews today on Hardball and just tried to eviscerate McCain for trying to make himself bigger than the bailout.

NBC should be ashamed beyond belief at this. They are so desperate to get Obama in the white house it has gone beyond embarrassment.

Did you know that the 700 billion dollar bailout had already been hammered out and that John McCain came in to mess things up, and that this was done so that McCain could avoid a debate on foreign policy against Barack Obama! That is the constant spin being put out by MSNBC.

The Super democrats had come to the scene and were going to pass a 700 billion dollar deal until McCain mucked things up first so he could then take credit for solving it, that is how MSNBC is reporting this.

What an evil, evil channel.

I don't watch that crap either,so I hadn't heard that.I am not surprised. And how utterly ridiculous! As if Obama has ever had a plan to fix anything.

We all know damn good and well no deal had been "hammered out". They can't decide what to have for breakfast let alone how to plan policy.

I never watch MSNBC. I boycott them because they are idiots and completely in the tank for Obama. I am only watching Fox News because I feel I am getting the best, most accurate information.

I place Rachel Maddow and Randi Rhodes in the same category. BAD!
They have both been on the far left radio show in CA. I can't remember the name of the show.

If the media provided a level playing field, McCain would easily win. But there are people out there who believe their blather. That's the only reason I worry.

The upside of MSNBC is that, at this point, they are most likely catering to the "choir" (Choir = die hard Obama supporters) and are therefore not likely reaching many undecideds. The ratings for MSNBC are low, and trail behind the other cable news networks.

MSNBC even ran that awful 527 ad on McCain's melanoma that showed huge scars, etc., whereas Fox and CNN and other networks refused to run the ad.

Olbermann reminds me of a villian from a batman movie come to life. As time goes on, I expect his and Rachel Maddow's sets to get whiter and whiter, until they are in white straight jackets in a white padded room, still delivering their blather in their newly found monotone, soothing voices.

MSNBC is a remarkable failure of a news organazation with the ratings to prove it. Olbermann clearly calls the shots at MSNBC as his Countdown is the highest rated show on MSNBC.
Olbynoxious, my only request of you is: take a long walk off a short pier. :)

I pretty sure that's why too. I also have wondered why Abrams stepped down from being the head of MSNBC in October. I wonder if it was his own decision or was there a lot of encouragement by others for him to do this. Seems to me for those who wanted to control the network, it would have been easier without Abrams as the boss because he would have ran things a little different.

Hi everyone, I have been a member for months, but hardly ever post, so I hope I don't mess this up. I seen this ad last night and it really pissed me off, then I started wondering how much brain damage continued cocaine use can cause?
since the one has openly admitted he used cocaine.

I just can't believe what MSNBC just did. Now the female anchor during the day who I hardly ever hear her say her own name, just accused John McCain of "flip flopping" because now McCain will attend the debate.

After absolutely slamming McCain for going back to Washington, now MSNBC is slamming McCain for "changing his mind" and going ahead with the debate.
These people are nuts.

Sigh, now Schuster is asking a guest if McCain Flip Flopped, the guest ridicules Lieberman who was on last hour defending McCain as taking in circles trying to defend McCain. Actually Lieberman did fine defending McCain.

Once again MSNBC uses the technique of injecting their opinion into a discussion as if it were fact.

The only "people" that watch MSNBC is the obama gang - just look at their ratings -
can't rack up the ratings with the obama followers alone - they really do Need all of us.
I e-mail them all the time and let them know they are being boycotted due to their LIES they pass off as facts/news. Turn them OFF!

Its a good thing that Hannity, Oreilly see twice as many viewers as any MSNBC show.. Olbermann and that whole crew arent journalists, they just run commercials for Obama. People got tired of those commercials long ago, hence why FOX is beating their pants off with the top 3 news channel shows..

Feels that way if you watch them..I can not understand how MSNBC can not see have Cris Matthews, followed by Olberman and Maddow is not a a good idea for balanced programming..Matthews atleast tries, but the other two spend their nights spewing much hate...I thought republicans were bad...but MSNBC made me start watching FOX. I atleast know I can get a two sided bashing there.

Yes and no. Aren't ratings still done by the Nielsen company? That means a few thousand people dictate what the ratings are for the whole country. Unless you're a Nielsen family, I don't know if you are helping their ratings.

It is important to identify and demarcate their techniques, as illicit and hopefully bannable as they are.

Yeah, I have to agree with that. Olbermann has even less credibility than O'Reilly on his worst day.

CNN is tolerable, although obviously favoring Obama, and Fox is a lot better than they used to be, although they are still generally supporting McCain. I'd put MSNBC now where Fox used to be a few years ago.

Also want to see how Fox's and CNN ratings compare, by time period.
Thanks.
