View Full Version : I Just Unsubscribed to MoveOn.org! Yay!
MoveOn just had the audacity of audacity to ask me for money. I unsubscribed from their e-mailings and, since they asked, gave them this reason why:
Because after 34 years as a Democrat, I'm through! After I vote for Hillary in our NV caucus convention of 4/12, I'm reregistering as an Independent. I'm disgusted with MoveOn, Herr Dean and the Gang of Losers, and the maninstream media talking heads who are all clearly Obama-biased. That the DNC would allow a 48-state candidate is a travesty of democracy! No one consulted rank-and-file Dems about the rules and took a vote! No matter; I, along with tens of millions of Americans, will NOT be voting for Obama in the GE should he succeed in stealing the nod. There isn't enough space here to tell you the ways in which we loathe him. Check out www.hillaryclintonforum.net. No matter, anyway. A third party--more viable than the Dem. Party--is in the works and will emerge before the next election. The revolt you will see will wipe the smug off the faces of those who so wrong-headedly are rushing Obamination to the nod. Can't wait!

I did it the other week and sent them a scathing letter as to why, but it doesn't quite seem as powerful as yours;)

julianne and kitty. now we're moving in the right direction. with 13,000,000 voters and more on the way does any one doubt that we can make a diffence. thanks to emmy i have already sent e-mails to hannity, o'brien the washington post and a couple of others. also let tom mccmahon know that i will not donate to the dnc and any money i donate will go to hillary clinton. also let them know why and mentioned a few names like dean, pelosi, richardson, and above all barack obama.

I do it daily, and I'm glad to hear others are as well. I just sent a scathing letter to the DNC and told them that I and many like me, would not just fall in line like good little Democrats and support their Chosen One. And I hoped they'd take great comfort when the deficit at the DNC was bigger than 2006 because all these college students had given all their lunch money to Obama and when he gets trounced by McCain, they'll be too busy paying their loans back to support this Party. And, they'll find in future elections, they don't have time to attend a caucus b/c they have to pay back those loans and have to work. So it didn't matter that Soros was funding them, they need voters!
Can you tell I was a mite perturbed? I also asked CNN to remove Donna Brazille and I thought they should make two changes to their name and slogan .1) they are the "worst" political team on Television and 2) CNN should stand for Cant-tell-truth-from-fiction News Network.
I feel better already just sharing that:)
I did also have to mention ACs man crush as well....:D

LOVE IT! Especially the man crush phenomenon. I always mention that in my letters, too, to elicit a rise in the recipient.

I too unsubscribed after the endorsement. Sent them a disparaging letter too. I recently wrote to ask them to retract their endorsement after the Wright controvery.

I unsubscribed shortly after Move-on decided to support BO. Makes me sick that I ever donated to that organization in the first place.
