Friday, March 28:

TELL ME- WHO WAS YOUR FAVORITE HILLARY SURROGATE TODAY ????

For my first post on this thread I must name none other than HILLARY!!!

"There are millions of reasons to continue this race: people in Pennsylvania, Indiana and North Carolina, and all of the contests yet to come," Clinton told reporters Friday. "This is a very close race and clearly I believe strongly that everyone should have their voices heard and their votes counted." HRC-3/28/08

I like Ferraro, she took one for the team. What she said helped open many people's eyes. It is something we were all thinking but not saying and it is great that it was said. Now it is out there and it can not be taken back.

Mrs. Clinton told aides that she would not be "bullied out" of the race.
In a conversation with two Democratic allies, she compared the situation to the "big boys" trying to bully a woman, according to interviews with them.

This quote is too funny.:D:D:D LOL @ big boys!;)

Bill, for fighting for the woman he loves. And having to put up with the media trashing her on a daily basis. Plus he's part of the reason I'm here in the first place. You could ask me any day and my answer will always be him, first and foremost.

The men and one woman in that video of all those big-brass generals and admirals who support her. Every one. I've put up with enough garbage in my life from men that it's been incredibly easy to write off the entire gender -- and while I'm still not going to say I've had a total conversion, that video has really surprised me. Never in my life have I ever dreamed that I'd see a whole ton of military males prepared to support a liberal, progressive woman for president.

I'm a hard and nasty cynic from the word go. I've seen no reason to be anything else. But that video really made one little flicker of hope pop up for me. It's been a very, very, very long time since I've had that -- possibly since I was in single-digits. I really have to thank her for being such a bullheaded tenacious fighter on the side of light, and for never, ever, ever giving in, and making just that one video possible.

I just hope to hell she wins the nom -- while her victory would change the status of every woman everywhere for the better, a loss would do more damage to us than we can possibly imagine. She MUST WIN. There is no other option here. She wins, or she wins. I'd trade twenty years off my life to ensure it and call it a bargain.

Carvelle, Feraro, Rendell forever!
As for Today:
.S. Rep. Anthony D. Weiner (D-NY), who represents the 9th district in the House, which includes parts of Brooklyn and Queens. Weiner ran for mayor of New York City in 2001 and he may run for mayor again in 2009; most observers think another mayoral run is a certainty and that Weiner will be one of the leading candidates for the Democratic nomination.
Weiner is also a superdelegate and has endorsed Hillary Clinton for president.
He was defendind her last night on LK (CNN) and did a very good job doing so.

HillBuzz is originally from Cleveland --- it took a lot of guts for Stephanie Tubbs Jones to stand up for Hillary in Ohio. Her district is 100% black and were 100% behind Obama. Tubbs Jones went to the mat for Hillary Clinton.

So, you know what? For the rest of my life, whenever Stephanie Tubbs Jones needs ANYTHING, I'm going to come running. I will do the same for ANYONE who has stood up for Hillary, but especially Tubbs Jones.

I can't remember the last time I had a hero, but I have one in Tubbs Jones. I want that woman in the Senate...and I want her in the White House some day as the SECOND female president.

To Stephanie Tubbs Jones! We loyal bees at HillBuzz salute you!

James Carville did what few others could and would and yet not only "got away" with it...but he did it

in his typical southern no bs manner that cleared TONS OF TRASH out of the way of what ...and exposed EXACTLY Bill Richardson's real motive and yet, more importantly his real character is like and now remains

...if anyone can not understand what Carvelle literally intended in that one easter moment

its as if they must be more than dead spiritually...and he gave a warning shot to those whom hillary and bill have given and done so much for...for all the years they have helped so many others...only to be betrayed when it matters most...

so... go james! for kicking a$$ and taking NO prisoners...we need more of ya!

Today it has to be Chelsea for again standing up to some tactless attention seeker. It's kinda weird how I've watched her grow up and, though I don't know her personally, I am proud of the young woman she has become. Her parents have done a great job.

During the PA primary, I was completely awed by the words and actions of Mayor Nutter. His words about Hillary were beautiful in their endorsement, and I found myself thinking, this man has to be graduating to a much higher level of politics, very soon!
It is good to have men like Nutter remind us all that there are many in the black community that are not willing to sweep away the accomplishments and dedication of the Clintons to the advancement of people of all races and economic levels.
I will vote for Mayor Nutter for any office that I have the opportunity to vote upon.

Lanny Davis. He is genuine. He can show his heart and still remain strong. He can relate to others and still take a hard line diplomatically. Yesterday he was on LouDobbs and LKL and did great. The guy works all day long, then handles all these tough shows and is going strong. I really admire him. Me thinks, he does HRC proud.

Stephanie Tubbs Jones: Her full name is Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones. She is the first African-American woman elected to the United States House of Representatives from Ohio.

Currently in her fifth term in office, she is a strong advocate for many issues, including economic development, access and delivery of health care, and quality education for all. Congresswoman Tubbs chairs the Ethics Committee, serves on the Ways and Means Committee and is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. She is a strong supporter of Senator Clinton.

Today it is Lanny Davis. Despite being at great odds he always fights back with the facts and is always respectful of those that want to argue with him. Many people have written to him to express their thanks for the loyalty he has shown to the Clintons and to my knowledge he has written back to everyone of them very quickly with a humble response. He sure has earned my respect and he definitely needs the morale boost from everyone. If you go to this thread it has his e-mail address.
