(10.25.08) -- Conference call by the McCain campaign to address allegations that Joe the Plumber was targeted by governmental agencies in Ohio that contain political allies of Barack Obama.
From a report on the subject:
http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/local_news/stories/2008/10/24/joe.html?sid=101
State and local officials are investigating if state and law-enforcement computer systems were illegally accessed when they were tapped for personal information about "Joe the Plumber."
.
.
.
Paul Lindsay, Ohio spokesman for the McCain campaign, attempted to portray the inquiries as politically motivated. "It's outrageous to see how quickly Barack Obama's allies would abuse government power in an attempt to smear a private citizen who dared to ask a legitimate question," he said.
Included in the conference call below are former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Ohio Attorney General Betty Montgomery.

Of course, the Obama camp was behind this. Did you once hear BO say anything about how awful this was to do to an ordinary citizen? No, you did not! This needs investigated asap!

Good find, Paul.
Obviously, anyone worth his salt is going to first look at who has a motive! Give me a break! Obama clearly was embarrassed, exposed and threatened and the initial "injured party" and would seek any means to discredit and neutralize the veracity of "Joe".
Similar to the invasion of hundreds of investigators and dumpster divers who descended on Wasilla.
Obama has a long history of exactly this kind of oppo smear campaign of his opponents, starting back in Illinois. This time, he may have accomplices in the press. However, it is of note that the hacking was done via GOVT databases. Everyone also seems to be forgetting the Passport scandal that was originally blamed on Hillary!! And was traced back to Obama's security advisor.
Now he's gotten in official bed with Google and tapped them for his administration. That move, along with FISA, his civilian militia and faith based expansion of community outreach, should set him up fairly well. With an impeachment proof Congress and a loaded Supreme Court, I expect the worst era of public corruption ever. With so much unevenly distributed power, money and access to technology, he makes Kennedy's shenanigans and Nixon's look like child's play.
You don't need to be a detective to draw the obvious inference.

Thanks, Freethinker. Excellent post.
The Obama team-up with Google is very concerning to many. There has clearly been censorship, in my opinion, of Google's partner YouTube as regards videos which the Obama campaign does not like. Here is an example:
YouTube - SHOCKING Obama words: what he really thinks of Joe the Plumber
As of a few days ago, you could not 'favorite' this video. Why is that, exactly?
The assumption, of course, is that the truthful information contained in the video is too damaging to Google's favorite son, Barack Obama.
Just a snippet of what is coming if Obama is elected. If you like free speech, you should be concerned.

Scrubbing YouTubes, hacking websites, corrupting databases. Obama's version of book burning.
Now we have the official Obama channel. The unofficial Obama channels will be fine (MSNBC, CNN, etc) as long as they continue to not question the Messiah.
Meanwhile, Glenn Beck's show (CNN) was cancelled.
Who decides what is "fair" under the Fairness Doctrine?

Julianni is nothing more than another opportunistic ass. McCain would do well distancing himself from Julianni. He used and abused the 911 events for his own personal gain. The man is a creep make no mostake.
