McCain vs. Brokaw

I broke the rules this morning to watch John McCain on Meet the Press. He did great, despite Brokaw's obvious attempts to torpedo him right from the start with "news" of this poll and that poll - of course, none of the tighter polls which show BO sagging and McCain rising. But John handled it well, taking control, and got his points in. I applaud him for going on CNN, knowing Brokaw wouldn't do him any favors, but I sure do get tired of the games these interviewers play (I won't call Brokaw a journalist - he's a disappointment, among many).

Yes McCain was in control of the interview - and Brokaw IMO was grabbing at straws by bring up the Palin clothing thing. He lost any respect I had for him.

He lost any respect I had for him.I really think that any time that clothes business is mentioned, no matter to whom, they should use the stock answer, Yes, we thought of spending the money on Greek columns but thought the clothes would be much more useful.

I also thought McCain looked more rested and refreshed than I've seen him lately. I think it's something to do with being the underdog--it's not just a cliche to say he does relish the role.

Wooh! Brokaw in the tank. I would of never believed it if I hadn't seen it. He used to be one the great stand up journalists. Sad, really. I guess that only leaves Hannity, Greta and that Lady in Florida. :D

A journalist actually doing their job and asking Obama bin Biden about "spreading the wealth" and about the guaranteed "international crisis" the national will face if Obama is elected. Wow, didn't know they still existed!
