Why is it Ayers is considered reformed cause he is buddys with Obama. Yet Osama is still a terrorist. Both Ayers and Osama blew up buildings, both belong to terrorist groups, both trained young impressionable minds radical ideas yet Ayers is reformed and Osama is a terrorist. The only difference I see is that Ayers is White and a citizen.

Because William Ayers comes from a family with big, big money and connections. Because he is an intellectual, therefore not held to the same standards of conduct as someone comparatively "low brow" like Timothy McVeigh.
It's about status.
People are very impressed with that.
Same rules apply to Obama.
Disgusting, isn't it?

Because he is one of the many corrupt characters that makes up Chicago politics. They welcome all sorts of terrorists, deviants, low class frauds.
Ayers isn't considered reformed by those who know better though.

Actually Osama family has big dollars and has connections in USA. Some family lives in the US and is friends with the Bush family. I guess if Osama hides out for about 40 years he will be reformed as well

The comparison between Ayers and Osama is too difficult for many to rationalize because Osama is a religious extremist and Ayers is not.
The comparison between Timothy McVeigh or the Unibomber with Ayers is an easier leap to make for many. They are homegrown, had issues with our government and planted bombs to support their anti-government agendas. The differences are that McVeigh or the Unibomber didn't come from money like Ayers and that when they were put on trial the prosecution didn't screw up. Ayers got off on a technicality and because he came from money. Add the fact that he is unrepentant for his actions, and you do not have a reformed terrorist... you just have a crazy who still reinforces intimidation over reason.
He is a wacko, and his wife (Dohrn) is also a wacko.

So basically if your Muslim you are far more evil. Wars have started over religion for many many years and wars have started over people being idiots. Way I see it difference between Ayers and Osama is a turbin

Osama has yet to complete his graduate degree at a left-wing university and buy a nice home in a trendy, urban, upscale neighborhood?

Yes, soon Osama will become a teacher in Afghanistan and he will be considered a reformed terrorist who no longer teaches bombing, but continues to preach about extremist Islam. I guess he'd be just like Ayers then and Obama can pal around with him as well.

Actually Ayers lives in Obama's hood and it is not that upscale outside that small area that area is a dump. I actually am more scared to walk in Obama's hood cause with people like Rezko, Farahkhan, Ayers and Obama all in the same area that is just scarey

If the images of the buildings that Ayers bombed were shown over and over again on ALL the TV stations this would have had an impact. They stopped showing 9-11 because of the emotional toll and wanted Amercia to move forward. I know this was different but an ad with Ayers saying "guilty as sin, free as a bird" along with the bulidings he bombed would have done it for many:confused: IF is such a big word and carries little cloute:(

Honestly, I dont know how Bill Ayers holds a position at a university. I wonder how that interview ended? "Mr. Ayers...ya know, I must say... your connections with the bombing of the Pentagon AND the killing of two policemen are very disturbing....oh, but what the hell.....welcome aboard the staff!"
Why doesn't someone ask the University of Illinois president why there is an unrepentant terrorist on salary?

Would have made a video but it is so hard to find any images of what weather underground did. Guess if your a citizen it is ok to hide the evidence

Ayers never repented for what he did. In fact he said he should have
done more. The prosecutors 40 years ago couldn't pin anything on
him because of technicalities in the law and possibly
plea bargaining.
He is an unrepentant terrorist who got off prosecution.
He isn't reformed and still holds ideas repugnant to most of
us. He just twisted himself into the mainstream and because
of "academic freedom", he survives.

I think the reason is that our media and our entertainment industry have worked overtime to make you think that anyone from the middle east is a "terrorist"..I think over the last few years we have atleast seen the TV shows try and have some balance, but even on shows like 24, they still lead you to always think the middle eastern guy is the bad guy, even if it turns out they are not.
A year or so back their was a huge outcry when Rosie O'Donnel made a point about this very subject...that we as Americans have our own terrorist...we just do it for some other reason.
The word "terrorist" has been misused..I would call many people who have done things in this country terrorist..The kids that shot up Columbine High School, the VA Tech shooter, The sniper attacks, Tim McViegh, The unibomber, and many many more who create terror in our nieghborhoods daily. Just because Bill Ayers and his followers thought they were right, their methods were not. This should not excuse his behavior...and our media should be ashamed for playing into this game.

Most people on the far left think Ayers was a war protester.
They don't realise the truth about Ayers:
Ayers and his buddies declared war on All White Middle-Class Americans.
They said that black people were going to "take over" after the "revolution" and said that they were taking sides in the race war. (Very like Charles Manson)
They bombed police in retaliation for the deaths of black panther leaders. Most people forget, these black panthers were killed because they opened fire on police when their headquarters were raided. The weather underground claimed they were "murdered", which is a complete lie.
The Weather Underground wasn't so much anti-Vietnam as it was Anti-White and Anti-Middle Class. The same middle class that Obama now claims he represents.

Chicago is known as the windy city. So instead of the stench and grime and filthy political methods creating a stench within the city and people demanding change, the wind blows it all away, leaving everybody with a fresh, minty feeling about their own politics.
