After everything that has happened over the last 5 months or so, here we are 8 days from the election.

I have that feeling when you are walking in the woods and all of a sudden you notice that everything is real quiet. Unnaturally quiet.

I get that...

I still think its been quite because the Obama camp played the "grandma" card..lets see what happens come this week.

They are trying to run out the clock....I think McCain c amp should question why his records are all sealed? medical. college. illinois senate, birth, . everything

I work in retail...and let me tell you I have seen the "grandma" card played to death...this one girl either has 10 grandma's or she is a soap character that keeps dying.....

I understand that weird feeling. I think alot of the nation is holding its collective breath right now. I think there is a real sense of fear out there. Is our country being taken away from us?

Exactly. I had to provide more personal information when I started college than Obama has had to show as a presidential candidate.
And Obama, without his actual Birth Certificate, would not by normal standards be allowed on a Disney Cruise Ship.

I know the feeling. I think people are gearing up for the election. I hope that someone does something soon. I am running low on postive thoughts today.

I was approached in store today regarding my vote, and proudly said McCain...then I was told but weren't you for Hillary? Aren't you following Hillary? Oh, yea I said, absolutely love Hillary, but not giving my vote to Obama after he and the DNC and the media treated her! Then I was asked what would I do if Obama wins, and I said, well
I wake up every morning and have my coffee, and will continue to do that. He's not my president, and I suggested that if the African American communities don't get a larger slice of the pie, then he will become the White president! I just told her if you vote Obama it won't help anyone, including you!

i had a weird quiet calm moment too. I saw Mccain taking NY. It's over if that happens. I don't know why, but I've been calm ever since.

It's like you woke up to find yourself in a nightmare. I completely blame the media for Obama. I stop sometimes and it hits me, how the heck did we get to this point? It's like half the country is in a trance.
