We're talking about a different topic but that's ok. ;)

Posting ranks referred to each individual member having a "ranking" in terms of the number of forum comments they had made. Like a "Top 100" of forum posters.

Whose wasn't? Actually, for me, it was a Barry Sanders poster.

With everything going on in the world....this is a concern? Murray, I actually like "no-rankings"....no one's voice should be more important than someone else's just because you typed "Stamp" more than the rest! LOL.

Just kidding...do whatever, Murray, it's your forum and I am grateful you opened it up again.

I agree for now "no rankings" is a good thing.

But I do like stats/data/rankings so I will bring it back in the future.

Can we have post rankings where we start off as some of the more pathetic political jobs and move on up to president lol...

Like we start off as Ms. Wasilla or something lol

Obama is not even comparable to Jesus.Did you not get the memo??

Jesus was a community organizer.

Along with a billion other people, both historically and currently.

It's not a role unique to anyone.

It is in Chicago, where you register dead people to vote. :D

When you are not a very successful community organizer,it's a bad thing.Seen any pics of the South Side of Chicago lately? Or talked to anyone in the communities he "organized"?? Or anyone from Illinois?
Acorn sound familiar?? They seem to be being investigated from the arse out right now.

By definition, Jesus was one, but there's a good chance back in his time, that title didn't exist.

So you agree the Obama campaign threw that out there.

I don't know who coined the phrase, but I do know that the position was heavily mocked at the Republican National Convention and helped Barack Obama in the process.

It should be mocked. He did nothing and he's claiming a job that a high school student can get is a significant qualification for POTUS. It only helped Obama when they played the Jesus card.

Why does everything have to be a card now? A community organizer was interviewed on The Daily Show. She was a McCain supporter until the Republican National Convention. That's just one example. I don't think Jesus had anything to do with her decision.

I think trying to create a psychological association between Obama and Jesus - which the Obama camp attempted to do - is disturbing & destructive. Obama is not a religious leader, he is a politician. Attempting to draw correlations between Obama and a religious leader is problematic on so many grounds. The "community organizer" part is not even relevant - what is relevant is that some/many want to view Obama as some kind of God, as someone more than human. Sorry, he isn't, and over time many of those intoxicated with Obamamania will realize, painfully, this fact.

Even discussing Obama & Jesus in the same topic helps draw links between the two which is ridiculous.

They were both community organizers. That's where my comparison of the two stop. Also, you're correct.
