I had a conversation with a member of another message board that has a history of calling people racist just because they are critical of BO. It happened again tonight. Then when I asked if the person realised that some people don't care about race she said that it didn't matter if a person cared about race or not. This person finally figured out that I was correct about US Flag code and that there is indeed wording about holding your hand over your heart .......but she got indignant as usual and called me a racist. Then another member told me he was putting me on ignore because of my smear campaign. Geez Obama supporters are the ones that hate America. They are looking for a man to take the office and fix 200 years worth of abuses that my family had nothing to do with. I am second generation on my Mom's side and first generation American on my Dad's side.

Italians (the garlic noses) didn't have anything to do with racism in America.

As for Hawaiians well........America has all the sugar it can eat after invading the Island Nation and overthrowing it's sovereign Ruler.

The Japanese were rounded up into concentration camps after having everything they owned stolen.....and these were American citizens we are talking about!

My Family has every reason to hate America....and we don't! These Obama supporters.....they really do hate America! They really are after revenge! They will stop at nothing and frankly it scares the shit out of me! They will accuse anyone of anything if it suits their needs!

Welcome to the club...I myself have been labeled as someone who has "special hatred for brown people" :( . I've learned to fight back a la' Geraldine Ferraro - people just back down when you do! And you know what else I tell them? That if it came to voting between Obama and Condi Rice I'd vote for Condi - she's just as bad as Bush but she knows where she stands and that's one bitch who can get the job done! That shuts them up!

Fortunately, not. tho I haven't wandered into the BO blogs. But in face to face, the BO supporters I know (many family members) have an air of justified shame about themselves.

I want to tell them, "its ok, you can change your mind, you didn't know...." but they keep defending in a guilty, defensive kind of way. like they're afraid of being racist themselves...

sad, but scary. they can only resort to specious and sexist, time worn rovian attacks against Hillary.

sigh..........

YES I HAVE, it is a poor argument on their part to get OUR VOTE.

I think they should take a cue from Michael NUTTER.

From a garlic nosed Italian

Yes, it happened when I was critical of BO on the Democratic Party blog. They just think if you don't like their guy, and if you would vote for McCain if he got the nomination, that you must be a racist. Not so....just don't like or trust BO.

Several weeks ago I got a call from the DNC wanting a contribution.
I told them I could not contribute if the nominee was Obama.
So he said, 'I guess you don't like Black people'. He went on to suggest that I leave the Democratic party and join the Republican party.

You should have told them, it seems you hate woman. Do you have problem with your mother, sister, wife or daughter. You should create your own woman hate party and appoint Obama its leader.

Some idiot on the Salt Lake City Tribune blog site called me a "closet racist" and a "far-right" person that was so delusional in regards to Obama because I was such a racist. What an idiot!! And that's just what I told him he was.

Let's face it. We're all collectively being called racists if we support Hillary. The only true racism has come out of the Obama camp, thanks to his pastor and his supporters' knee-jerk accusations against anyone who even dares to mention Wright's name. If you disapprove of Wright, you're a racist. It's reached the point that you're a racist if you don't support Obama. Look what they're doing to AAs who continue to support Hillary. It's disgusting.

This behavior is so destructive, in essence what they are saying is, if you are Black you can dislike Whites, but if you are White you have to like all Blacks or you are a racist!!?!?! There is no such thing as "the measure of the man" as they used to call it. You can't choose for your self if someone has the same belief system as you to decide if you would support them in anyway. Whether or not you want to associate on a social level or support them on a political level!! That is crazy!! I too have seen it on the blogs!!

I've been called racist many times because of my strong views against Obama. But one thing I've realized, I pay little attention to those that cannot have an informed conversation but must resort to name calling.

Yesterday, I had the most delightful conversation with an Obama supporter. He's an intelligent guy and studies up on his facts and is very knowledgeable. Instead of the typical banter I've encountered with supporters from the other side, we had a very in depth conversation. He wasn't going to change my mind, I wasn't going to change his. But, it was nice to have a different level of conversation. Those voters I can appreciate.

I've been called racist, too...it seems to be their main response to any challenge directed towards Obama.

I haven't...but by the sounds of things, it is only a mater of time.

But I am always very clear at the fact that I have ZERO issue with having a person of Non-White skin color as our leader (African, Asian, Latin, etc). When it comes down to it, Barrack Obama is just not the PERSON that I want as our President....has nothing to do with his skin color. Well, it kind of does because of the Rev. Wright ordeal...but they brought that to the game all on their own.

I'm beginning to think it's essential to start the dialogue that way and then just keep repeating it. Disapproving of Reverend Wright and being against Obama for president aren't racist. That's absurd. Also absurd--and truly sad--are the attempts to threaten and intimidate AAs who continue to support Hillary.

I can't imagine what kind of pressure that must be. We have to do everything we can to support them.

Yes, on YouTube in the comments section. I commented that I believe that a candidate for public office needs to prove to me that they are capable of working hard and Obama has not proved that to me at all. The fact that he doesn't know the difference between the "yes" or "no" button, and that he misses crucial votes, and doesn't do his job tells me that he is a slacker.

The Obamanot commented, "Sounds like what a white racist woman would say."

It seems this is an Obama Supporter Tactic! I think it comes from the Obama camp leading by example.

I believe Obama is setting back race relations by 40 years.

Yes, they are like a faction that I call Obamatributionites.

Look at Kenya to see what Obama has lined up for the US.
