As Lou Dobbs would say.
The latest Gallup poll shows Obama 52, Hillary 42.
I'm just at my wits end.
The American public is not paying attention or perhaps a significant segment of pro Obama people are as lowlife as he is.
I hate to say that but those are about the only 2 things I can think of.
I don't think a former crackhead and pathalogical liar has any business in the White House.
Others who are like him apparently do! Sad news for this country!

It's insane and I wish they would tell us the biased group they polled...
Polls mean nothing. Remember NH.
Let's just keep our noses to the grindstone and continue to donate what we can, because HRC needs the money to compete.
Keep blogging, writing the papers and calling.
Pay no attention to the polls. They mean nothing and all the MSM needs to placate their own bias and idiocy.

YouTube - "Hope!"
Help us spread the truth about Obama and what his "hope" and "change" brought to Chicago, and perhaps those polls will go down for him.

Actually...I joined a republican forum today, just to get an idea of what the other side is talking about. The folks on this particular forum seem to believe that Obama supporters are flooding the online polls and that they are basically false results. I wouldn't doubt it in the least. The other thing they've been saying that I find amusing is that clearly, democrats don't believe in democracy. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a call for Hillary to "step down" before the process is finished. An interesting perspective.
i admit i am stupid but i have a question. i keep reading that "obama has it locked up", i assume as a tactic to persuade others not to bother to vote? but, if he has it locked, why hasn't HE quit?

From what I understand, Obama is ahead and it would be difficult, but not impossible for Hillary to win. If there was no chance she could win, I can't believe she'd still be running.

i hope there are voters still waiting to vote, who have not been counted in these so-called polls. the women, the mothers, older people, those who only use a computer for email. these people vote too. what worries me is that, if the media keeps succeeding in saying "it is over", any potential hillary supporters will think "why bother".

I think all this is just bringing strength and motivation to the Hillary supporters. I write to every news outlet, papers mainly, to let them know that they aren't discouraging anyone from voting, but just making us more determined to do so.
The Media will not win this war.

Polls don't matter. Don't let others discourage us. The next "poll" that matters is the Primary in PA on Apr 22. Our goal is to win by as large a margin as we can. Let's not get distracted. CONTRIBUTE, WRITE, CALL, CANVASS, NOW!

He may win this campaign but he won't win the election
Shame on the DNC
Shame on Obama
Shame on the media for allowing Racists promote their narrow minded hateful views as if it was OK
But you have to have a Soul before you can feel anything

I hope everyone gets involved with this protest in New York .... when people start to see action and that we are not giving up, the poll numbers will move again in our direction....

I'm thinking anything can happen to change them. Like many have said not to put much substance in them. I know they are discouraging to read but I just read somewhere on this board that Hillary campaign is visiting some out of the way places that don't get much media hype:)

That was yesterday's 3/30/08 Gallup poll (the 52-42 spread). Today's - 3/31 - Gallup poll is 51-43, for an 8 point spread. Today's Rasmussen poll is 46-43. I would not read too much into the national polls at this point.

as i see it, if hillary drops out, they can seat florida and michigan, and even if they allow their delegates, hillary would have dropped out, and obama would still win as the only nominee
obama knows if hillary takes this to the convention floor, she would force the super delegates hand, and something would have to give with florida and michigan for her to lose, if the superdelegates force her hand by siding with obama, that would not sit well with her delegates or those voting for her
hillary will win this nomination if she can win pa., indiana, and the other states, and many think she still has an outside shot at it, but she cannot drop out
michigan and florida are still very much in the hunt
hillary will win this nomination, obama should drop out

These polls don't do online polling, but phone calls, right? It all depends on who they get on the phone at any given minute. Most people have caller ID now and if they don't recognize the phone number they ignore the call, so the pollster moves on.
I just think that we have to wait for the real poll in PA. THAT'S when Hillary will beat the socks off this guy and get other people to start thinking on their own instead of "going with the flow".

that makes sense! and it explains why obama refused to go with revotes. but i still believe they have to find a way to count florida. she won here. that explains a lot!
i always miss the obvious. :D

I think the bad poll position has a lot to do with all the talk that hillary should drop out and so on...I wouldn't get crazy...she will change the momentum with a big victory in PA and the polls will move back in her direction!
