Well, sorta. I'm going to a Fundraising Breakfast in San Francisco on Thursday morning. She is speaking there. I'm very excited. I'm going to try to get her to sign a Hillary-in-the-box, and take a picture with it. Then I am going to auction it off and give ALL the proceeds to the campaign. Cross your fingers for me! I'll post all the pics on Friday. It took a hefty contribution to get a ticket, but it will be so worth it! And I'm glad she has my money!

Also, California held it's State Democratic Convention this weekend in San Jose, CA where I live. On Sunday morning, Bill Clinton gave a speech to delegates. You had to have a special pass to get into the event which we did not have. BUT! Later someone with a pass was leaving early and handed it to my husband. So he got in. He was about 4 feet away from Bill at one point. I'll post the funny picture we have later. I got to stand outside the doors of the hall and watch from afar. Bill Clinton was electrifying, let me tell you!

Hey! Float the idea of our Protest (See thread, Live Protest @ Rockefellar Plaza) to her if you get a chance to talk and see if she approves/ can help us!

Hillary needs to havve more low-fee breakfasts and other events.

Also, does you fee for the breakfast count towards the 2300 max you're allowed to donate?

I'm not sure. I think it might.

This breakfast was $250. A bargain compared to the ones I've seen in the thousand dollar range. Although, if you contributed $2300 for this event, you get in a half hour early for a "VIP Reception". Couldn't swing that one. I had to scrape the $250 together as it is..... But like I said, it's worth it to me!

How do you find these fundraising breakfasts or other events. I could swing 250 for something this amazing.

The campaign sends you an invitation.

How do you get an invitation? seems rather circular

I met one of the event sponsors at the California Democratic Convention. She told me about it, then I googled it this morning. I found an article with a few events listed, and the article had links to the event info. The links directed me right to the event on the hillaryclinton.com website.

It's funny because when I went to the homepage later, I couldn't find where the events were listed at all. I had to find it via the article again.

There's a big one in L.A. on Thursday night. It's more expensive though, I think.

If you go to Hillary's website and click "Plan/Find events" you will find this information.

I tried that too. This breakfast and the L.A. event are not listed there. I searched San Francisco zip codes with a wide mile range, and also L.A. zip codes. Neither event came up in the search.

Here is the link to the L.A. one...
