I'm on obama's e-mail list (just to know what's going on) check out what obama says about Hillary - UNBELIEVABLE!

Friend --

If you donate before midnight tonight, your donation will be part of our March financial report to the FEC.

Why is that important?

This will be the final report before the next series of primaries, and the results will be sized up and interpreted by everyone trying to gauge the strength of our campaign.

Thanks to you, we've won more delegates, more votes, and twice as many states as Senator Clinton.

But this race isn't over yet.

We're fighting a battle on two fronts. Senator McCain is attacking from one side, intent on suggesting that a third term of George Bush's policies is somehow the best path for our country. Meanwhile, Senator Clinton is attacking from the other, because her campaign has flatly stated that tearing us down is her only chance to win.
There are 10 primaries and caucuses remaining in states like Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Indiana. This two-front battle will require unprecedented resources, and we can't let up.

Your donation, before midnight tonight, will build our campaign for the remaining contests and send a message of strength to all those scrutinizing the campaign finance reports.

And don't forget -- tonight is also the last chance to become one of the donors eligible for a dinner with me we'll be having soon.

Will you make a donation of $25 now?

There's one thing we already know about the March fundraising results: Senator Clinton and Senator McCain have raised a significant portion of their money from Washington lobbyists and special interest PACs.

We've never done that, and we never will.

I'd like to know when she "flatly stated" that. Oh this is not negative???

Another libelous statement.

Libel by definition is an untrue statement which injuries someone's standing in the community. Every time Hillary "attacks" Obama according to the media, her negatives go up. How much more proof do you need to prove libel?

Ah, the King of Lies strikes again!

It's called PROPAGANDA!

It's called LYING to his support base and encouraging them to feel ANGRY as way to TURN them against anything and anyone who is not "pro-obama".

His tactics are dangerous.

A dinner with "me"? What is he selling here? Is he "pimping" himself out? I think so. And he is very cheap-- Just 25 bucks. wow. I thought a Senator cost much more, not to mention a prez. I think I'll a couple.

The next statement, that the bo campaign presumes to know, prior to the FEC even, who had or had not donated to the Clinton campaign, could surely set someone up for a charge of LYING in writing even. And, the written statement that they never would accept lobbying $$ should be easy to disprove... what about Exxon, or the healthcare industry??

At least the email is to the choir ... and thanks for stomaching it order to inform the rest of us... we need to know what they are saying so they can be caught up in it... but I'm with my fellow traveler here... I couldn't stomach seeing his face in my email.

I'm actually starting to get it now. Master of the opposite! He's tearing her down so she can't win, while accusing her of it!

He really is such a limp biscuit!

I actually joined last year when he first announced, as I signed up on hillary's too. At that time I was so naive to think that we would have a nice clean campaign and never in my dreams did i think what has happened actually did. I was so excited then. Now, I can't believe I actually may consider voting republican for the first time in my life...if BO gets the nod.

I think I'm gonna upchuck...

just another way to incite anger. Look at all the Obama supporters online calling Hillary every profane word in the book. They LITERALLY believe anything anti-Obama, is a Hillary smear tactic. They also believe ALL of Obama's smear tactics is a way to combat Hillary's "negativity."

Did you guys notice this phrase popping everywhere "Hillary's do anything tactic to win." This was spread by Obama's campaign and his supporters, as well as people paid to respond to all Obama articles, spread it like wildfire to belittle Hillary's character.

Yes, once again....he states the opposite of the truth to cover up what he is doing. If you are a divider, claim you are a uniter. If you are racist, claim the other person is using race to cover up your racist leanings. If you use all the same old politics, say you hate the same old politics and you can cover it up.

He still reminds me of the televangelists on TBN; sitting in their gold plated chair, promising the world while asking for money.

Another perfect example of why the Republicans should teach him how to appropriately swift boat the competition because he really sucks at it.

I really hope this one gets out. What a jerk.

And only $25 to have dinner with him? Even escort services charge more!

(and you couldn't pay me enough to have dinner with that man, I'd rather eat with Bush)

Ethics law allegedly was described as 'just for show'

March 31, 2008; 12:48 p.m.
One of the early showcase initiatives of Gov. Rod Blagojevich's administration was a sweeping ethics law that was designed, it was said, to instill voter confidence in the integrity of government after the scandals of the administration of Gov. George Ryan.

The ethics law presented a potential dilemma for political fixer Stuart Levine and Blagojevich fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko as they plotted to take control of two state panels at the center of Rezko's corruption trial, said Levine, who is testifying against Rezko as part of a plea deal with prosecutors.

Republican Levine said Rezko made sure that Democrat Blagojevich kept Levine as a member of both panels. But the ethics bill included a strict prohibition on state board members talking with others about board business unless the members publicly disclosed the communications.

Before the bill passed, Levine said he raised the proposed restriction with Rezko and worried that any conversations they had about board matters would in theory be illegal.

Levine said Rezko said there was nothing to fret about. "Nobody of consequence was going to pay any attention to the ethics ordinance," Levine said Rezko assured him. "It was there just for show."

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/02/08/AR2007020802262.html

"When you come in, especially as a freshman, and work on something like ethics reform, it's not necessarily a way to endear yourself to some of the veteran members of the Illinois General Assembly," said state Sen. Kirk W. Dillard, a Republican who became a friend. "And working on issues like racial profiling was contentious, but Barack had a way both intellectually and in demeanor that defused skeptics."

Throughout his political career, Barack Obama has fought for open and honest government. As an Illinois State Senator, he helped pass the state’s first major ethics reform bill in 25 years.

I think that for him to write things like this in an email, he is truly running scared. He is afraid the bad news will take him down. That is why he keeps asking supporters to tell the media that Clinton should drop out of the race. Then he covers it by giving Clinton "permission" to stay in the race "as long as she wanst to."
