Meredith/Mary - I would never think you're leading an Obama fan club. You've simply been great and welcoming to those of us who simply share a different view on a few topics. I think that says a lot about you as those skills are necessary in life, not just on the net. I'm sorry that the forum is closing. I'll now quit posting articles/information and run along to a new home.

I've enjoyed my time here. And thanks to Meggles, HTTE and other 'old timers' :) that I am sure I'm forgetting.

very sorry to hear about the forum closing. I totally believe in Murray's ability to develop a common ground forum, but if he's feeling himself drawn in other directions, then that's how it is. I wish him all the best and every good thing in life.

question...is anyone else of a mind to start up a forum with a common ground theme? I like the pantsuit politics site and have interest in helping to advance women's issues, but would also like to be part of a common ground discussion group on all issues and with all ideologies participating.
