On Hannity!
He said if his daughters were to get pregnant he wouldn't want them to be "punished" with a baby.
This guy has some very strange ideas and unusual (to put it mildly) ways of expressing himself.
Disgusting!
I'm pro choice but don't consider a baby under any circumstances a punishment!

I am appalled (not shocked) that Obama would say such a thing. It shows how he feels about babies. I am pro-choice, but I never have heard pregnancy being called a "punishment". I guess this means he won't be getting rid of abortion...

Stop the Obamination before he does something WORSE!!!!

Who wouldn't want their daughters punished? Hannity or Obama?

And people actually WANT this moron for president? Haven't they had their fill after 8 years of Bush2?
So a baby is punishment, eh? Did oBLAHma say that in the context of rape? Or was he implying that if his girls were young and got pregnant (through consentual sex) he would WANT them to choose abortion? I don't get it. And I CANNOT stomach watching that man talk, so I won't be watching any reruns of this interview.
For the record, I'm pro-choice (as in, it's okay for OTHER women, but not me personally), but other than rape and incest I don't see babies as punishment...

Exactly! I never saw a parallel between Dubya and BO until you mentioned this! This "punished with a baby" is just the kind of insensitive gaffe Bush would make! McCain would never say anything so thoughtless and ugly and frankly, stupid. Wonder what his chum his pro-life Sen. Casey thinks about all this now. No wonder Michelle doesn't know what everybody sees in him!
This is just another example of why we need a woman 's voice in the White House.
I WANT HILLARY!!

I have been reading Dreams of My Father and he is not very emotionally connected to anyone. The only thing that comes up over and over is that African Centric theme but here is something for your train of thought:
YouTube - Obama's Doubletalk Express - The Great Pretender
In His book, he says, "Black politicians less gifted than Harold discovered what white politicians had known for a very long time: that race-baiting could make up for a host of limitations. Younger leaders, eager to make a name for themselves could make up a name for themselves, upped the ante, peddling conspiracy theories all over town --the Koreans were funding the Klan, Jewish doctors were injecting black babies with the AIDS virus. It was a short cut to fame, if not always a fortune; like sex or violence on TV, black rage always found a market." pg. 203. Dreams from My Father, Barrack Obama. 2004, 1995.

Hmmm, this punishment comment sounds nothing more like his brain being fed by the Church of Wright. Sounds like a comment they would make indeed.

Anybody seriously watching the debates realized that he had a secret yearning to emulate George W or even Dan Quayle.
The abortion comment is not really new revelation to the kool-aid free world.

As I understand it, Hillary and Obama are pro choice.
And Sen. John McCain is pro life, and he wants to overturn Roe Vs. Wade.
Is this correct inofrmation?

Pretty much so, but with the added "bonus" form Obama that he wants to make partial birth abortions legal and allow teaching sex ed in Kindergarten.

The reason I ask is I had talked to couple of people, who say McCain is pro-choice just like the rest, Obama & Hillary, and using that as a talking point agrument is a waste of time.
On 19 Feb 2008 in Spartanburg, S.C.
Rep. candidate John McCain looking to improve his standing with the party's conservative voters, said Sunday that the court decision legalizing abortion
should be overturned. "I do not support vs. Wade. It should be overturned, the Arizona seantor told about 800 people in SC., one of the early voting states."
Is he flip floping? Hillary is not wanting to reverse/repeal Roe Vs. Wade.
I don't know what Obama is thinking here either.
Just need to get a better understanding, in order that when I discuss
the issue, I know a little more!
Thanks

The man has a serious disconnect with the real world. Look how he acts when he's out trying to compaign among the people he professes to want to lead instead of being safely behind a podium where he can preach at them.
He has to be higher and holier. He's truly not one of us, meaning he can only relate when he's looking down on us. Anyone notice this?

I can only speak for Hillary here, and I can assure you she has NO intention of overturning Roe v. Wade. Would a champion of women's rights ever do that?
While it is expected from the conservative McCain, who will most likely also appoint anti-abortionist Supreme Court judges, Obama is a loose cannon - he'll sucker up to anyone to get votes. He has no morals or scruples.
