I've always liked that banner, but I also like the wording of the sub-title. It describes the goals of the forum so well! - and is more inclusive! I think you accomplished what you wanted to say, Murray! :)

I think I need to put some more work into defining the current parameters and direction of the forum to make it clear to people past, present and future what the forum is currently about.

What about the colors of the text under the banner?

Did the yellow title stand out better?

Or is the red/white/blue a better match?

I preferred the red, white and blue....but then again, i am a red, white and blue American...when I am not a Black and Gold Pittsburgher!

I actually liked the yellow, which appeared kind of golden and fit. Also liked the balance of the yellow-gold before, being above and below the banner, if I remember correctly. Seems that the disclaimer was in smaller letters before, and above, which I liked better also. (Maybe it's time for me to go to bed!).

Adding the line "inviting" people of all political persuasions is good, though. Do I get to stay up longer now? :D

Well, I guess it does appear yellow, rather than golden - but I still prefer it because it stands out more and it's a point that I think you want to emphasize now. How would the disclaimer look in blue and above the banner, to kind of border the banner like I think it was before.

Now I must be getting tired! Did you change the print on the banner?!!!

I'm not sure that you can improve on what you had before. It was quite striking. But it's fun to see the options.

The disclaimer is running too close to the banner now at the top, don't you think? Can you try it in blue?

I know....Go to bed!!

It's lookin' better! Maybe eliminate the second exclamation point, keeping it for the main description, and leaving the bottom line as just a statement of fact?

Hee hee! I like the red on that line, too.

Murray, can you try blue on the disclaimer? I think it can sit in the background a bit more that the white does. You must be having fun - now the space has disappeared!
