I got a reply from one of the e-mails I sent to the DNC. Below is a copy. I have omitted the personal information.

Patricia, Thank you for your email about the presidential nominee. We understand that you have a favorite candidate and we are glad that you are enthusiastically supporting him or her. The Democratic National Committee supports all democratic candidates up and down the ballot, not just the presidential nominee. However, the during the nomination process the DNC must remain neutral until a nominee is selected. We are lucky to have a great pair of candidates this year and that is why it is so critical that the DNC raise the funds necessary to support whoever the nominee will be. It's up to us and our supporters to make sure that our nominee has the support he or she needs to fight off Republican attacks and to ensure Democratic victories up and down the ticket in 2008. Thank you, Molly Barker

Your Question or Concern: I received a request for a donation. As a voter I cannot support theparty until I know the votes of Florida and Michigan will be countedand the delegates seated...or the election is a redo in the form of aprimary. If my state had moved the date up it would not have been mydecision and my vote would now be being robbed. It is time youadmitted you made a mistake. This is mistake just as the Iraq war wasa mistake. I am sure if you knew then what you know now you would nothave made it. Also, I cannot vote for Obama if he becomes thenominee. The Rev Wright connection is going to make the swift boatingby the right on John Kerry look like a walk in the park. And thistime there is TRUTH behind the story. All my donations are going toHillary Clinton until I see the correction action by the party onMichigan and Florida. SEE THE LIGHT PLEASE!

Just a note. I have sent more than one complaint to them via their site and I think this reply is probably to one of my complaints and the "mildest" of the ones I have sent. I was wondering it anyone would ever really read it at the DNC.

I think this must be an auto reply because it doesn't seem to address your actual concerns re FL and MI. But at least you got an auto reply. I have yet to receive any replies so I have stopped submitting the via their website.

I think they are seeing the error of their ways. Your letter was well written and factually based. I wrote to them in very much the same tone and did receive a response, but there was no reference to the "two great candidates" or any of the other nice things said nothing about the other democrats they were supporting.

I think Howie is feeling the heat.

Well done Patricia

I think Nancy Pelosi has changed her tune too. Now she is saying the SD must decide according to their conscious. This is a change from last week. Maybe all the efforts and letters are finally paying off. They have to see the light here.

On to the Convention! Remember Michigan and Florida!

I was a child still when JFK won the nomination at the Convention. My mom, my aunt and I went over to a friend's house to watch that night. We all sat glued to the television. I had gotten to see JFK in person. The motorcade had driven right by my school. The whole school had gone out to await his arrival. Our principal handed him a gift as the motorcade paused long enough to receive the gift. I was so excited about the election even at this young age.

When JFK got the nomination at the covention we were cheering and shouting. It was something to behold! We are going to be cheering when Hillary gets the nomination at the convention! We are going to be celebrating for our champion of the people will win the delegates needed to secure the nomination. BO is no JFK. And there is no one like HRC! She is going to rise!

Well, that would be a nice statement if it had any truth to it or any basis in reality! It doesn't! The whole thing is geared towards favoring Obama and numerous people in the DNC have shown their true colors in this regard!
