View Full Version : Threads With Zero Posts
From now on I will be removing threads which have have received no posts one day after originally being posted. If a thread receives no posts in that time it's pretty clear that no-one is that interested in the topic (for whatever reason). If you want your thread to live on, post in it!
(Hopefully someone will post in this thread! :))

Well, I guess I'd better post something here so that this thread isn't deleted tomorrow!

Now you're going to have to start deleting threads with only 1 posts! :p Like a pain in the *ss, I went through and posted in all the threads with 0 replies on the first page. lol. I think all the threads posted here are worthy of discussion. :) Though I appear to be in the minority since a lot of them have 1 reply-- mine! :o

It's hard to predict sometimes which threads will/won't be popular.
Regular news items (that aren't that controversial) tend to attract the fewest responses.
The most posted-to threads are, usually, the ones that are about heated topics!
Just a reminder - if a thread contains no posts after one full day of exposure, it is removed. So if you want to see your thread survive, you will have to post in it if it's empty by the end of the day!

Can we re-post the thread some time later if we feel the information is pertinent? (Coming from someone who rarely posts, anyway.)

Yes, for sure.
Just a reminder - any threads that have no responses after a couple of days will be removed.
So if you want your thread to live on, post in it!! Just one response ensures it's survival!

I so appreciate how you often post in threads that haven't gotten any responses yet, foxy. This "saves" them from being removed and helps spur discussion! Thanks! :)

threads are real funny things..the ones one would think would get a lot of comments..are often ignored:thinking:
Reminder - if you want your threads to survive, be sure they are posted in at least once!
