View Full Version : Has the forum been viewable today?!
This is very bizarre!
The forum's host server was changed last night (intentionally) and then today the forum was viewable to me but no-one was online (I thought).
And then just now the entire forum rebooted and I see all these people online who have been posting in threads which I didn't see all day. And the threads I posted in don't have my posts!
Ah the joys of changing servers and all that technical mumbo jumbo.

Yes. I haven't been checking all day, but I haven't noticed it being down when I've been on.

I guess my ISP hadn't recognized the change until just now!

Not me. I noticed the forum being offline yesterday but after it went online again, I did not notice any difference. I thought the transition worked perfectly.

I did have a problem replying to a post, which I informed you of. Don't know if it was related to the change in server or not. Since then, I just decided to let it go.

I can only view the forum from my iPhone. I am unble to get in with my desktop. I have rebooted and cleared my cache to no avail.

Did you send a PM as I didn't get it? Some posts/messages were lost during the transition to a new server/I.P.

Do you have a different internet service provider for your home computer? It might just be taking a while for your ISP to recognize the new settings.

Sometimes during transitions there is back/forth between old/new settings. Things should resolve for you soon. Just do as much "clearing" of your browser/cache as you can.

When you change servers it takes time for resolution, completely normal no worries.

looks good to me.....it's weird coming back after posting no where for a few weeks (I have not even had time to watch the news and am completely out of the loop on current events).....I have a couple days off to catch up on various forums and then I'm back to work! I need to go check out gaydizo.
