:mad:Did you guys read the Pros and Cons for each? That's biased too!!:mad:
Hillary's:
PRO: She's either the dogged, schoolmarmish perfectionist who stalwartly refused to let her party be hijacked by rose-tinted hysteria in the country's darkest hour...
CON: ...or the blind monomaniacal narcissist who destroyed the Democratic Party by refusing to let a new and rejuvenating movement bloom. We'll know soon!
Obama's:
PRO: The eloquent Democratic frontrunner promises to anneal a shattered union, end an endless war, and redefine the chief executive as philosopher king, employing a politics that transcends race and ideology.
CON: His candidacy, perhaps inevitably, hasn't transcended either. Critics call the Obamanon a mass, messianic delusion, and Obama's perceived aversion to policy specifics in key speeches and debates (along with his youth) has gotten him caricatured as a honey-tongued naif. An ugly, protracted battle with rival Hillary Clinton could kill his nascent majority in the shell.

I am not sure the multiple voting is actually adding to the total.
WV4Hillary
04-04-2008, 03:46 AM
VERY IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!!!
I just checked to see if it's adding to the vote total. I timed 3 minutes, and refreshed, and saw Hillary had gained only 3 more votes. Did the same thing again, and this time only 2 more votes. I think went and voted on her (slid it to 100, voted clicked refresh..slid to 100, vote, click refresh...no cookie cleaning) and checked the total after 3 minutes of doing this. It had moved up 17 votes -- I had voted 14 times. Meaning her average of 3 in about 3 minutes had held, plus my 14. So the conclusion: YOU CAN VOTE MULTIPLE TIMES!
Naturally, this online poll counts. Time Magazine will likely publish the results...it's important she wins. We should ALL commit to spending a while just..voting for her...over and over. And then an equal amount of time voting him a 1. If say..100 of us did this...say...250 times...we'd end up netting her about 25,000 extra "100s" the average would easily beat Obamas, especially after we give him 25,000 "1s".
COME ON GUYS!

DO NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA AS A 1 ANYMORE! They are both tied now...71 each. I'm sure that's because of us spamming it..^^
Anyway...since they are tied, they give the higher spot to the one with the most votes. Stop voting for Obama, cause we're technically pushing him up. Once Hillary gets ABOVE him in numbers, we can push him back down with 1's.

Here's an interesting observation on the ratings so far:
Clinton is still beating Obama... However, he has 14,184 votes and Hillary only has 9,371 ... I wonder how they (Time) adjusts for that?? Like, if BO gets more votes than HRC, will that negatively effect HRC in the long run? With the current ratings system, it appears that if someone gets only one vote, and is scored at 100, they will "out rank" everyone else.
OH, and it's a pretty sad day in American when Perez Hilton gets more votes AND beats Nelson M., Hillary, et. al. in the "most influencial" category. .... and when did Rain become so popular?? Apparently the newcoming of Elvis. Yet another "pop icon" rated over substance. That's what America seems to flock towards... fluff over substance. The masses love surfacey, fluffy, feel good in the moment crap. I give that a double eyeroll and an eek :rolleyes::eek:

Ahh by, the way, did you read the quote or descriptions of Hillary there:
PRO: She's either the dogged, schoolmarmish perfectionist who stalwartly refused to let her party be hijacked by rose-tinted hysteria in the country's darkest hour...
CON: ...or the blind monomaniacal narcissist who destroyed the Democratic Party by refusing to let a new and rejuvenating movement bloom. We'll know soon!
http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/article/0,28804,1725112_1723512_1723932,00.html
vs Obama
TIME I BELIEVE TO CONTACT TIME; WRITE IT'S PRESIDENT, AND COMPLAIN EN MASS.
http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/article/0,28804,1725112_1723512,00.html
It is no accident that Obama is on the first click. That pic and the wording were very strategic, we MUST do something. Good find, but we need to respond to this in the media, and to the president, and sponsors. Time needs to know a lot of people who may have purchased their magazine, will now boycott it. Shame on them.

Do not make any votes to Obama, even of it is to enter a 1. even voting a 1 for Obama indicates he has some influence!!! it goes to his total people. Right now he is #4 and Hillary is back at #10. If you are going to do this ONLY make a vote for Hillary! I do beleive however that Obama is the most influential of the two because he has influenced millions more people to be against him than Hillary influenced to be for her. Something Hillary's campaign should take a close look at. I still voted for Hillary though.
But do not make any votes for Obama as any vote for him only increases his scoring.

My friends 17 year-old daughter was caught sitting up at night stuffing the votes. She said that some of her friends on the Obama website decided to get BO to the top of the poll and vote Hillary as far down as possible . I have watched the numbers change in lightening fashion so I know they are doing it. This may be a silly poll but do we really want to see BO at the top due to some kids who can't even vote? This may make it into the magazine with a skewed result. We do need to rally to help our girl cause I can't do it by myself. By the way, 1's for BO really do have an impact.

I vote on it many times per day. I'll try to bump this thread a couple times per day.

They shouldn't but they do. The least we can do is try to drive Hillary up in them? Right?

While I do agree that his negative influence is greater than anyone we have to decide if we are going to let the BO teeny boppers control this list. If Time magazine publishes this list then we have to come to terms with the fact that his bloggers have no lives and sit up all night to skew the numbers. Otherwise we have to make a decision to influence this poll.

70,000 ratings for Hillary. (overall score of 43)
56,000 ratings for Obama. (overall score of 56)
Considering his support base is significantly more "active" on the Internet, it's blatanty clear that many of those 70,000 ratings have come from pro-obama supporters who will go to any lengths to ruin Hillary's showing in any poll. They do it all the time. It's pathetic and juvenile. YouTube and Digg are classic examples of the way in which the Obama campaign and its supporters have MISUSED the Internet to promote hatred and bigotry in their efforts to SMEAR Hillary Clinton.

Total waste of time - the obamabots are spamming heavily...She is now at 35% and he at 53%
Somebody should write them and tell them their poll is useless as it is being spammed by Obammabots as they have nothing else to do but spam and do hate.

Unbelievable! Yesterday, Hillary got 56, down from 66 the day before. Now, it's only 38 for her and 53 for Obama! Are those BO people got nothing else to do? I bet they have their special squad to do just spamming.

Obama has a team of web-people. The Obama campaign found out about this and told them to spam Hillary with 1's continuously. Someone contact the RAPID RESPONDERS!

Typical Obama kids. They can only compete using deception. And in turn their candidate fooled them through deception as well.
What bonehead losers. *LOL*
there is a way to get the score back up if you want go through the process.
But its probably easier to inform Time of what happened.

You can still have spies in a closed members room. I've seen it happen on non-policital sites.
On a public site like this, information can seen and there may be sabotage of one effort or another. But at the same time, there is also public disclosure of it
Any neutral party reading this site can logically conclude that this supporter group is on the up and up, and whenever there is foul play, it always our opposers - who along with their candidate exhibit the backfiring Wiley Coyote syndrome. "D'oh". lol
