If that lady doesn't want a government solution, she doesn't have to take it. Also, that congressperson should have put the damn cellphone away.

SJL had Hillary's back in the primary and I do appreciate that, but I just have to call out this kind of arrogance...I am sick to death of this entire Congress' dismissive, Marie Antoinette attitude...

I always have been found of SJL, but this is just RUDE! And, uncaring of someone's point of view. It's a sad news day regarding these congress/senate people.

I am completely shocked and appauled by this...I was giving her the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe she had an emergency or something of the kind, but the woman asking the question (when interviewed) said she did it to two other people!! So, it wasn't just a one time rude incident.

They said she was giving out shout outs to people coming into the meeting and that's what the phone calls were about...but, jeez, do it the old fashioned way...PASS A NOTE!!!

I met SJL last year during Hillary's campaign. My friend who was with me told me he didn't like her (can't remember why). I thought she was nice but she seems to be a bit cuckoo this year, with all that MJ hoopla she brought into Congress and now this.

This is really unfortunate.

She and most politicians are masters of double speak! :-bd And she admitted on the other video she was there to try to convince them (in other words, not to hear what they have to say).
